Hannibal Rising (2007)

tries to do what no one wants

there are few people who haven't seen a Hannibal lecter movie, there are even fewer people who have never heard of the character his stylish way of life, he psychological games, his coldness...

this movie tries to remove that last thing, it tries to make you feel sympathy for the character, it wants to show you a tragic story that will make you feel sad for the Hannibal character and by doing that the movie is justifying Hannibal's behavior

i did not like this, why? because i like Hannibal as he is, a cold blooded psychopath murderer, a man with brains that drive him to do these horrible things, not eternal tears

i have to say that this movie is not bad, if it was the first ever made movie of the Hannibal saga it would probably get a much higher score, the acting is decent, even though Gaspard Ulliel had no resemblance to Anthony Hopkins (i pictured the teenager Hannibal as a wider man than the long skinny guy he is in this movie) he still did a great job, he was interesting to look at

Lost (2004–2010)

utterly brilliant spoiler!

lost has been going for about 2.5 years now, many shows do, but lost is one of the only ones that keeps getting more interesting

i do not think that i need to explain the story of lost since many have already done that before me, yet for those that happen not to have read those, here is a short one

lost is about a plane that crashes, many die, but many also survive, and they have to keep surviving: voilà might not sound interesting yet, but the show gets more interesting when people get taken from the camp that the survivors (i'll refer to them as 'the survivors') it turns out that there are 'others' on the island, people that have been here for longer

to keep things short i'll just name some of the things the survivors find on the island: a monster, a hatch, another few hatches, a small bungalow park, and revealed in season 3, episode 20: Jacob, someone who appears to be a ghost, i have got to admit that i didn't really like the idea that it was a ghost, a spirit of a dead man, that was the big secret keeper of the island, but it did keep me thinking for some reason so i can't wait to hear more about him

one last thing, the cast: brilliant! i love them all but i'll name some of my favorites

Terry O'Quinn as John Locke he plays brilliant, a stubborn but smart man, one that seems wiser then the other survivors, he keeps you interested because of the way he talks, walks and so on in his role

Michael Emerson as Ben Linus this might just be my favorite actor in the series, first comes into a show pretending to have stranded here with his wife, who died, but soon revealed has one of the top notch guys of 'the others' he plays perfectly as the manipulative highly intelligent man

Jorge Garcia as Hugo 'Hurley' Reyes his 'dude' makes me laugh every time, he is the person that gives the funny twitch in the series

Well this is it, a brilliant show, described in a somewhat less brilliant review

news about the ''stars''?!

let me start at the beginning, the intro it says: (in dutch of course) ''shownews comes to the stars at home'' at the moment that that is said they flash a small clip of some guy, that i have never seen or heard about, probably some guy who had a guest role in a dutch soap, which they call stars/celebs

also in the intro somebody says: what everybody is gonna talk about tomorrow, we tell you today while all the news they bring is about for example that the bike of a soapstar was stolen, who cares, that is no news, they just seem desperately in search of something to say

and that is literally what this hole show is about: if you come on dutch television, to this program you are a star, you nearly never here anything about the real stars, like for example Christina aguilera or one of her kinds, when they go to the ''celebs homes'' they go to unfamiliar people, it even once accured that they went to a friend of a ''celeb'' (soapstar)

this show tries to be something its not, and that is a show with the hottest and newest on celebrity news, while this show is nothing more then a load of crap

Diary of a Sex Addict (2001 Video)

makes showgirl look brilliant

let me first say, i watched this movie around midnight, and usually there only is trash around this hour, but this movie broke the record

first of all the main character is an old non attractive creepy guy, yet he gets to f*ck all girls that come on his path for example he goes to a shop, talks to a girl and then you see them f*ck

secondly there are loads of sex scenes, and in many of them there is no nudity at all, i would not have been surprised if one of the characters in the movie would say: fast put your clothes on so we can f*ck!

thirdly this movie should show what a sexual addiction can do to a man or a family, this movie only shows soft bad acted erotica it makes me wonder why those actors agreed to play in such trash
