Qing Ya Ji (2020)
Eternal happiness lies on Yin-Yang balancing, which is to control your desire and face reality.
If you watch this movie without thinking, you would think that this is just a fantasy drama with beautiful costume, stunning actors with good chemistry, touching love story, and high-class CG. However, if you listen carefully to what Boya (played by Deng Lun) said at the almost ending, you will understand the key philosophical message of this Yin-Yang movie. "In this world, we need a balance between Good and Bad deeds. There are no absolute right or wrong. Human could have evil mind, while demon could be loyal." Both Boya and Ching Ming used to have only one side of thought (black or white). By facing through obstacles and fighting against evils together, they eventually learn the fair truth of life. This world is the blending of opposites and when things come in balance then the true happiness can happen. The story of Princess, the master and the demon servant is symbolic. The princess, (human) has strong desire to be immortal so she can be with her lovers forever. This is why she did many evil things. The demon servant is very loyal to his Master so he did many evil things just to protect the princess forever. In contrast, the Master understands this yin-yang world very well so he can find true happiness. In a lifetime, just a chance to love someone and be loved by someone is already good enough. Finally, the princess come to understand the philosophy of life. So she decides to let go off her unrealistic desire and bring back the peace to everyone. Two thumbs up for this movie !! Besides the hidden philosophy, I like the excitement of many scenes especially the "sand sucking scene". Also, the ending song sang by Boya (Deng Lun) fits so well with the scenes and closes the movie with good feeling. Looking forward to the next chapter of this movie series.

A real-life drama with awesome performance of all casts
If you are looking for a real-life drama full of everything in life, this is the one. You can laugh out loud with many comedic scenes. Your heart ponds fast with several touching scenes. Everyone tries hard on what they believe in.
The acting of all casts especially Deng Lun, Sandra Ma and Mr. Tong are great since it makes me feel like this is their real life (not an acting show). This drama is one of my favorite. Whenever I feel down, I have more courage after watching this show.
