All men are idiots
7 August 2023
Warning: Spoilers
Wanna have a nice and romantic evening avoid this movie.

It starts as a typical rom com but it has to diappoint us in any way so it's "grown up". But is it?

Does this movie help us solve our relation problems like grown ups should? Does this movie make us laugh away the pain, doubts, guilt what ever?

Does this movie give us back a whimpse of the feelings we had one for another?

Do we (men) really believe the female solution Rose Byrne's char finds for herself is charming?

Like all men are idiots, go get some semen in a clinic?

In no way this movie is a bloody rom com.

I never watched a movie that turned me so off (on our marital movie night).

Not the actors fault, they are quite decent.

Just Nick gone lame Hornbys.

Blaaaaargh.

Less pew pew, more story
23 December 2017
Some people probaby like SW for the always the same story telling and the same black and white hero schemes. Well I don't.

That's why I wanted to give the artist a little back up, (yes folks, directors are artists not a puppet on your string) cause I know what it's like on stage in front of an audience.

So: Thank you Ryan for the best movie so far since Empire strikes back. I'm looking forward to N° 9!

Awful

This is another example of Hitchcock's hatred for women. Great Movie...last century. Who likes to see a woman act and be treated like a stupid child nowadays? If you like watch people suffering for no reason but their own fault this is your movie. Or else watch "Big Brother" or similar crap.

Unbelievable Character Development
14 September 2014
Warning: Spoilers
I really appreciate this Walander series for being realistic. The characters seem to be like guys from your neighbourhood. But here something happened to make me quit. I stopped watching this one episode after the following happened:

!!!SPOILER!!!

Peter Adler gets the murderer of his beloved wife point blank. He knows that the murderer is actually the murderer. The murderer says: "Gimme the weapon." Peter Adler starts crying and gives away the weapon and lets himself get slaughtered like a sheep.

Serious! Nobody would act like that! And Peter Adler, the guy who broke Martinsson's nose, wouldn't do so either.

I Am Omega (2007 Video)

Not so bad!
10 July 2008
Zombie movie goes martial arts.

The big flaw of the movie is: you've kind of seen it all, because I am Legend is out pretty fresh and maybe you have by now seen the Omega-Man also. The story is ripped!!! AND the script sometimes ain't very good: it happens to be illogical and often you just don't know, what the heck the guys are doing and what for.

BUT: The acting in Omega is still pretty good - partially you'll find some gems. O.k. it's not character, but it's decent enough for a SF/horror/martial arts. What do you expect? Klaus f***ing Kinski??? The camera work is sometimes really good, no joke some really bright shining jewels in there, also the light and the locations, especially in the beginning, when Renchard is on his own. I liked the scene when you really don't know if it's his imagination that haunts him or a monster. The zombie-make up is good, the sounds they make on the other hand is quite simple.

I don't like the attitude to just judge a movie because there is some supposed to be original out there somewhere which can boast with a STAR or so. I don't think Will Smith did such a brilliant Job in Legend and - hey the Legend Script was also kind of obvious, wasn't it :D? Omega at least has one big surprise/turning point, and this makes it more interesting than Legend, no joke, this rip off has genius own ideas about the Last-man-on-Earth-against-the-zombies-Topic.

Try to forget that there is Legend, that there is 28 days, weeks whatsoever and try to take this movie as it is, without bias.

SEE! Not so bad, eh?

Wow!
10 July 2008
I'm a science fiction and horror movie fan and well yes I loved the original Ghostbusters when I was a youth, but compared to the tons of fan film material that were based on the Star Wars series, this was much, much better. I was even frightened watching it, you know, the subtle way! I couldn't get my eyes from the screen!

Mostly everything was very good or gorgeous: -The FX were better than in many a commercial TV series. -The acting was very, very good. My special compliments to the "bad guy"!!! -The cuts were wow! -The dialogues were awesome, my god, who wrote the script? Reitman and Ramis personally?

Yeah, the main characters are kind of like the original ones, but they got this new "russian" guy also and so the casting is an overall good compromise between old and new.

Will somebody please give these guys a TV series? Man, these guys belong in the showbiz!
