Spielzeugland (2007)

Best short movie for me.

The movie genre of Toyland is short drama. It was made in 2007. It is set in 1942 in Germany. Heimlich and David are best friends who are neighbors and practice the piano together. However, David's family is Jewish, and one day David's family is taken by the Nazis. When Heimlich doesn't understand, his mother tells Heimlich, "They are going to Toyland." Heimlich wants to go to Toyland and he leaves home. When his mother wakes up in the morning, she realizes that Heimlich is not in his bed and begins with a scene where she goes looking for him. It is a wonderful movie because it is only thirteen minutes long, but the story is easy to understand, and in this movie, "music" and "war" are the key points. Music makes the development and content of the movie better. In the first scene, the child is playing the piano, but in the last scene, the old man is playing the piano, which was the most memorable moment. I think that it is the best short movie for me. It is worth watching this movie.

Fish Out of Water (2005)

The name of the film is 'Fish Out of Water'. This movie genre is comedy. It was made in 2005 and shot in New Zealand. A man uses a boat to go to work. One day, a woman asks him to put her on a boat for him and take her to her office. When he allows it, people come to ask him to put them on the boat. However, he doesn't think very well of it. I think that it is important to refuse. People aren't good at refusing what was asked by someone. The man can't refuse and suffers from it. I am impressed by the acting of the main man. At first, he goes to work happily. But after people put on the boat, he doesn't want to go to work and looks melancholy. In particular, his shoulder and face are down and he begins to not greet his neighbors. This detailed expression conveys his feelings more. In the film, there are various types of people, and I can feel again that it is important to refuse requests which I don't think very well of. It is worth seeing this film.

Porcelain Unicorn (2010)

Young German boys who wear uniforms come into a house. They look around the house and hear a noise in the cupboard. One boy enters the cupboard and finds a Jewish girl. She holds out the unicorn figure. Suddenly, German soldiers come into the house. The key point of the film is "unicorn". The word is used as the title and key point of the film. In the last scene, the unicorn figure becomes the thing that connects the growing boy and girl. And the incident and situation in the Second World War can be conveyed in just three minutes. There is also some visual information such as 'Star of David' so that I can understand the story of the film easily. In my opinion, the film is worth watching because we can learn about history, terrible incidents and real life at the time.

The movie genre of ' a moment ' is short drama. It was made in 2012. Four men and women who don't know each other's names and faces suffer from "loneliness". One day, people all over Japan hold a moment of silence at 2:46 p.m. What do the four men and women feel about it? The key point of the film is that the scene, objects and colors show their feelings. If they feel sad and depressed, the scene and object look dark. As their feelings change, the color and objects on the scene convey the changes of their feelings. I feel once again that each person has their own moment, and everyone is alive, even though they seem to be frustrated at times. Some people may like it. Other people perhaps don't like it. I think that it is worth watching this movie and I like it. By watching the film, I am able to feel gratitude in my daily life and be thankful for the support of the people around me.

Whacked (II) (1998)

The film genre of 'Whacked! ' is dark comedy. It was made in 1996. The setting is New York. All of a sudden, people start to fall down unconscious in the street. And the screen changes to playing golf. What happens to these people and does it have something to do with playing golf? The key point is that it is a black-and-white film. By daring to be black-and-white, the darkness is transmitted more. Also, the sounds of the city and cheers of people are used instead of the music. By doing so, I can feel a realistic sensation in the film. I think that it is worth watching this film. At first, I didn't understand the meaning of the film. However, when I watched it again, I understand the meaning and I'm able to laugh at the end. In that sense, I feel that it was a film that I can enjoy twice.

Three Days in Kamakura (2012)

Family story

The film genre of 'Three Days in Kamakura' is short drama. It was made in 2012. David and Keiko are married and live in Kamakura. David is working as a teacher in an International school. One boy who is half Japanese and half Western is a student and stays behind until his mother comes. The mother doesn't pick him up and David takes the boy home. The key point is that people who watch the film think about 'family' again. What is 'family'? What is the definition of 'family'? When I watch it, I consider it is good to have a family in any form possible. The camera work and music of the scene where David and the boy are spending time together match their facial expressions, and it is my favorite scene and good. It is worth watching the film and I like it. The reason is that I'm just thankful for being able to spend time and days with my mom and dad.

New Boy (I) (2007)

Friendship

The film genre of 'New Boy ' is short drama. It was made in 2007. An African boy changes schools in Ireland. Some classmates make fun of the boy and shout abusive language. What will happen? I was excited to see what kind of ending it would be, and it was good that the relationship between the boy who is bullying and the African boy gradually changed through things they can only do in school life, such as being scolded by the teacher and being made to stand in a hallway. It is worth watching the film because discrimination is a serious problem we face and have to solve it. When I watch the film, I think about this problem again. If I were a boy, I would feel sad and don't want to go to school. In order to eliminate such a thing, the film suggests that people are not their appearance but their character.

Lonely woman

The movie genre of 'I'll Wait For The Next One' is short drama. It was made in 2008. One woman who longs for love gets on the subway. There is a man who talks about love in front of people there. How does she feel about the man? The key point is that her face expresses clearly as her feelings change. At first, she feels lonely and seeks love. Going from scene to scene, she meets a man and her feelings become pleasant and finally finds a man. Even though she doesn't say one word, her feelings that change as the scene changes were very much conveyed. I can't say whether the movie is worth watching or not. The reason is that if it's a true story, it makes me feel complicated and sad. If it's not a true story, it's a funny comedy. But I enjoyed watching it for three minutes and I liked it.

Knick Knack (1989)

Cutely snowman who be honest with his feeling.

The movie genre of 'Knick-Knack' is comedy. It was made in 1989. A snowman finds a pretty girl who represents 'summer.' He decides to get out of the snow dome and uses a process of trial and error over and over again. Does he get out of it? The key point of the movie is that the image of summer and winter are contrasted with objects like sunglasses, cheerful music and snow. And the most attractive point is that it contains the name of the region. The summer ones have names of warm places such as Jamaica and Miami. On the other hand, the winter ones have names of cold regions such as Alaska. Without dialog, there is a lot of visual information. I think that it is worth watching the movie. No matter what season you watch the movie, you can look forward to seasonal events. When I watch the movie, I feel that I want winter to come quickly. No matter who watches it, people can enjoy watching the movie.

Father and Daughter (2000)

9 minutes which cannot take my eye's off

The movie genre of 'Father and Daughter' is short animation. It was made in 2000. A father says goodbye to his young daughter. As time goes by, his daughter grows up. His daughter always waits for father and goes to the riverbank where they separated. It is wonderful that I can see the changing of the seasons and the growth of his daughter from the images and music without dialogue. In particular, it is amazing that the music changes to suit seasons and her feelings along with her growth as the seasons change. I feel like my eyes and ears are drawn into the film. By watching this film, I think that spending time with my lovely family is really important for me again. I'm just thankful for being able to spend a simple day like today. It is worth watching this film.
