I know it's a little weird to describe a movie as complete, but that's how I felt about it. After the movie had come to an end I was happy with it. I thought the look of the movie was amazing and very well edited. Though I believed all of the scenes to be "intense", the intense action filled scenes were well shot, but I honestly was more looking forward to the dialouge, because as the viewer you learn to respect the girl and her intentions no matter how twisted they may be. Nearly everything she said was harsh and to the point and she brought up some very interesting points although she was borderline psycho, or maybe she just seemed that way since she was so intelligent for a 14 year old. The character of Jeff was a very well played part also. Although he seemed bad in the beginning you began to believe, just by the way he handled everything, that he may not have been as harmful. I would love to watch this film again soon, and I only watched it a couple days ago. It's just something that captures your attention and really brings you into the characters world. I recommend it to anyone who isn't afraid to watch something with fairly uncomfortable subject matter.

An Interesting Role

The feel of this movie was amazing. Adam Sandler's performance was very inspiring. As he played a very rattled and fragile character, he took his ability to the very edge and really worked the role. His character was really interesting. I can see myself reading the script for this movie and not being half as interested in the part as Sandler made me. For someone who plays primarily comedy roles, he pulled off a serious role with what seemed to be his own quirks and input. I especially loved the scene in which Adam and Don's characters rode the motorized scooter around the city. I familiarized with the moment, because it seemed like Don was witnessing one thing Adam does to get away from it all. With his video games, music, and many other things he does to keep him from thinking about the past, riding his scooter with his headphones on seemed like an escape from his thoughts. This movie is definitely worth the watch.

This movie was very well made. It kept me interested the entire time, and that's not easy to do with politics, if you know what I mean. The acting was phenomenal. I must give props to the casting director, because these actors were perfect for their roles. I wish that I had never seen this movie, just so I could see it again for the first time. I watched it again recently, and it didn't have the same impact as the first time I saw it. It was good, just not as good knowing the surprises and such. As this was said not to be a completely action-oriented movie, it's action surpassed anything I could have imagined. I would recommend seeing this movie if one hasn't already, and I might also suggest checking out the soundtrack as well. The beautiful music that plays within the movie works perfectly for the mood of the film.
