Wednesday (2022)
Wednesday should be heartless
Having looked forward to Wednesday for months, unfortunately it turned out to be a disappointment.
The first few episodes were okay but further down the road Wednesday actually starts to get feelings.
In my opinion Wednesday Addams should always be heartless like in previous black and white tv shows and like in the Addams movie cyclus.
Dark, gloomy, black, rotten.... That is how the full show should have been. Instead, it was un-Tim Burton-esque... Too... "Normy"...
Let's hope that in the second series mr. Burton does what he always did. Make it creepy, kooky, mysterious and spooky, strange, deranged.
Moonage Daydream (2022)
This was an amazing two hour piece of art
This was an amazing two hour piece of art.
Music, light, colors. Never seen a thing like this before... Bowie was up there already but he's gotten even higher after seeing this masterpiece. This should be in a modern art museum somewhere for anyone to see on display. His life chronological from the seventies till the end. Unknown, unseen videos and performances complete this fantastic movie. It deserves more then one Oscar.
Brett Morgen and Stefan Nadelman for directing, writing and animating this movie. And maybe others too for making this into one complete trip across the globe.
Go see it on the big screen before it hits HBO this winter.
Better Call Saul: Plan and Execution (2022)
Oh Wow!
I definitely didn't see this coming. Just watched this episode and my heart is beating like crazy.
Just finished watching BB for the third time while mixing in BCS weekly.
Howard? Can we see this in slow motion?
#Presses rewind...
I can't wait another week!
Better Call Saul: Hit and Run (2022)
What an amazing episode
What an amazing episode.
It's been a while that Saul and Kim had the prime roles . Too long.... FInally get a very important update of what's going on and you can finally see it moving towards Breaking Bad.
Kim is moving towards allsorts and Saul is moving into his BB-office,. Can't wait to see the next episode.
El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie (2019)
Not the end I would have liked to see
Warning. Spoilers...
So Walter is dead? And Pinkman lives?
I hoped it would have been the other way around.
Expected a lot more of this movie too.
Happy to see the end. But...
Another sequel could be made.
No one ever saw Walter White being killed. So anything is still possible
The Package (2018)
Didn't Fall Asleep
Woke up in the middle of the night and put this movie on, hoping it would make me fall asleep.
It didn't work.... So surely it wasn't that bad.
Down to Earth (2015)
Beautiful pictures, story and music but...
They make it look in the trailer that this is the story of a family traveling the Earth. It's nothing like that though. Instead it's the story of medicine-men and women telling us how to live.... The journey is just a little part of the film. Dutch subtitles were correct but not complete. Rolf Winter's and his wife's voices are not the best narrating voice... Excellent pictures and music though. The message of the movie is good as well... It would be nice to see a part two of the movie where they explain more about the trip. How did they manage to stay away for so long? Did they stay with the Indians for 4 years and then travel for 1? Or did they travel for 5 years after? What are they doing now? Are they living the life as they tell us to live it or have they gone back to Western "civilisation"? Too many questions after seeing this.
