Flight 7500 (2014)
Ok
I don't know why, but recently my family keeps finding 'horror' movies that overall just feel funny to me. More comical rather than scary.
When I first heard of it, I kind of thought it was a final destination ripoff, but it's not. I kind of wish it were a final destination ripoff though. I feel like that would be more interesting than a ghost doll on a plane that likes to kill people.
The first little jumpscare made only my little sister jump, and then when the face appeared in the tv, I almost laughed.
The stereotypical goth girl frustrated me and I don't know why,
The pregnancy test thing seemed like it would be an important thing and then the woman just died.
The "all of us are already dead" thing was stupid and it's very similar to the "and I woke up and it was all a dream" ending I always used to write when I was, like, 9.
Then the "ending" after that with the hand was also bad.
I gave it an extra star because usually, my brother talks over the whole movie and we have to keep pausing and rewinding, but he wasn't here tonight so we could watch the movie normally.
I just realized someone actually wrote this and now I feel bad for giving it 5 stars. Sorry.
M3GAN (2022)
Good
Would be rated higher if my brother didn't talk the whole time. We had to keep pausing it because he was so loud.
He kept talking about how mild the violence was and for once I actually agree with him, as it feels like most was off-camera or kind of funny.
There were a few scenes that made me think it was part comedy, like the infamous dance scene, but I wouldn't say it was scary to begin with. But if you pretend it's thriller/ comedy, it's fantastic
Apparently I need to write more for this to count as a review, but I don't really know what else to say. The doll reminded me of the My Friend Kayla or whatever it was called.

HURRY, SERIOUSLY
Good, but most of the watch time I feel like my family was just yelling at the girl to HURRY. When you're handed something important as another character sacrifices themselves for it, you don't just stand there, watching for them to die! You be useful and RUN.
At the start, some of the violence felt a little comical to me. It slowly got a little more serious, but I didn't feel scared at all during this, neither did my 10-year-old sister.
However, it didn't quite make sense for the girl to be evil, because they were helping her find her body. Didn't she want to be found? I thought that was the whole point of the body find thing...
While this isn't the best movie ever, it was entertaining.
