Everyone should watch this documentary. I like to think of myself as fairly eco-conscious but there were a lot of things highlighted in this documentary that I was unaware of.

Sustainable fishing is a myth. "Dolphin friendly" means nothing. While I'm at home feeling guilty for using a plastic bag, the commercial fishing industry is out there polluting and decimating our oceans, having a knock on effect towards everything else including climate change.

Critical reviews of this documentary state that it's "all over the place" rather than concentrating on one particular topic but in my opinion we are going on a journey of discovery alongside the film makers and each problem discussed is intertwined with another anyway.

I also don't feel that this is pushing any vegan agenda. It is simply saying that if we all do our bit by reducing or removing consumption of seafood from our diets then maybe there is hope after all.

You'll be good both ways

Similar type of film to Sliding Doors, the pivotal moment is when taking a pregnancy test - in one scenario the test is negative and Natalie (played by Lili Reinhart) moves to LA to pursue her career. In the other scenario the test is positive so she stays in Texas to pursue motherhood.

There are ups and downs along the way but what I liked about the movie is that neither scenario was portrayed as good or bad. Yes the pregnancy wasn't part of Natalie's five year plan but sometimes plans change.

I wouldn't say this was a romantic comedy but it was an easy and pleasant watch and I'm glad it didn't have you rooting for only one version of Natalie all the way through.

These sorts of films always make me think 'what if' about some of my own life decisions but this one felt quite comforting and reassuring by the end.

Made me feel all the feels

Not sure how my review will do this show justice but here we go... We follow Tully and Kate over 3 different timelines - as teenagers, as 20-30 somethings, in their 40s - with each decade's storyline cleverly intertwining across each episode. The timeline jumps around but it is so well done that it isn't confusing like some shows.

The casting is brilliant, Katherine Heigl and Sarah Chalke work beautifully together, as do the younger actresses cast to play their teenage selves.

And yes I cried. I don't think I got through a single episode in the second half of season 2 without bawling. I had read the book so I knew what was coming but seeing it all on screen made it even more emotional.

I also cried at the lack of a Kate/Tully relationship in my own life. Never had a friendship like they do in the show and that made me sad.

All in all a fantastic programme that will make you laugh, cry and reflect on your own life.

Oh and Dancing Queen will never sound the same again.

I adored this!

This show has a sweet story, likeable characters, cool fashion - pure escapist, comfort television. I would love to live in their world and be friends with them all. In fact I kinda wish I was psychic.

I stumbled upon this on Disney+ and binged it in a couple of days. It has the potential to be one of my favourites... except apparently it's not being renewed for a second season?!? Seriously why?!

My review isn't long enough so I will say it again: please please renew this show!!!! We have to put up with so much reality tv and depressing garbage everywhere else so don't take away the good stuff like this!

Stupid

If you enjoyed Tinder Swindler or Inventing Anna, don't bother with this. You will be disappointed. This is just stupid, tedious and illogical. Do better Netflix!
