Left Behind III: World at War (2005)
24esque *small spoiler*
I really liked it but the only problem I saw with it was that it seemed like it was too much like the TV show, 24. In the third season of 24, the storyline was that they had to prevent this virus from being released into Los Angeles. But it was too late. The terrorists beat them to their game and released it early, making a whole hotel of people infected, which then shifted their objective to finding who was really responsible and stuff. In Left Behind 3, they are also trying to stop a virus and people get sick too and one character even dies. So overall, I found it a little too much like the third season of 24. Seriously, they should have had Kiefer Sutherland in it anyway if it was going to be so 24esque.
A Thief in the Night (1972)
Good
I have seen this movie a whole dozen times and it's awesome. But the only thing with it was that in the beginning, there was too much talk of who's going out with who. I think that it would be interesting to do a remake of it. But on the official site, they said that they will not be making a remake of it because so many people have gotten saved when viewing it. What's even happened to Patty Dunning now? She is a pretty good actress. She has done several other movies in the 70s and 80s, but we haven't heard from her since. I know for sure about Thom Rachford, who plays Jerry, works for Accounting at RD Films. But overall, I have to say that the series itself is like Left Behind gone old school.
Image of the Beast (1981)
Okay But Boring
Back in 2005 we watched in church youth group. It was pretty tense at first and all, but was really draggy throughout the rest of the movie. And that made people go in and out of the room during the movie. I think that there should have been a little more action, just like the first two. I guess it really got draggy because Patty was not in it. Image Of The Beast is the most boring Christian movie, I hate to say. They are pretty accurate with all the Biblical stuff, but it was missing the "it" factor. The only thing that was interesting and understandable was faking the mark. I would have done that too if I were them.
