Dasara (2023)
Commercial movie with singareni coal mine back drop
Dasara is a high adrenaline action, revenge drama that is set in the backdrop of singareni coal mines. The movie, the characters and dialogues are all out and out Telangana.
The story is simple and as you have seen in many commercial movies, but screenplay and mass elements never let the pace of the movie down. But there is a unexpecting twist which changes the entire course of events and sets up tone for the latter part of the movie.
The way the director deals with the story and characters is fresh. Even though the movie has good entertainment, there are certain parts which are lagging and slow.
The village sets and props are amazing and well made. The songs are great. The action part is the king of this story, combined with high emotions.
This is Nani's one of the best performance in his career. Watch it for Nani.
Mission Majnu (2023)
Predictable spy tale
The story is inspired from true incidents as stated. Coming to the stoty of the movie there is nothing special that stands out or great. Everything falls flat, except for few action sequences. Also it doesn't help that the story is very predictable and you can see it coming from a mile.
The screenplay also doen't elevate the proceedings and is average at best. The music of the movie is not bad. The background score is also not that great.
The performances of actors involved is not that great. And don't expect Shershah performance from Siddharth Malhotra. Rashmika is ok, but fails with her limited acting skills.
If you have lot of time to kill, then watch it. Otherwise its a waste of time. Makers of this movie have made a right move by releasing the movie on ott.
Brahmastra Part One: Shiva (2022)
Had high expectations, came out mixed feeling
This big ticket movie starts with a backstory and begins the proceedings. As the story and characterization progresses you feel like missing some sort of thrill.
The basic plot of the movie is about the protagonist knowing about his gifted abilities and coming to realize it. And it is as simple as that, but even a simple story can be made into gripping one with amazing performances, proper screenplay, excellent dialogues which this movie lacks.
The lead feels and acts totally out of place in few crucial scenes after intermission which are supposed to be serious for such a film. The movie definitely has it's good exciting moments here and there. But poor screenplay hampers the movie.
Coming to the performances of the actors: Ranbir Kapoor and alia are ok. Amitabh is good. Nagarjuna has a little screen time but it makes an impact on you. Mouni roy has performed her part surprisingly well as an antagonist in the movie.
Talking of music department, music is quite disappointing apart from kesariya which is fine. The back ground score of this movie is not that great and delivers only in parts.
The suspense in the storyline and the unrevealed answers all take too long for a slow disappointing reveals not that exciting. Which audience can predict where the movie is headed towards. The movie basically relies too much on the next part of the movie Brahmastra Part 2: Dev to deliver which is bad considering this movie is the base and already disappointing in its own.
The much hyped about CGI works for the most part, but fails miserably by the time climax comes. As it feels too much of vivid and bright and repetitive.
As a whole package this movie disappoints big time and its a massive waste of budget. Instead makers could have focused on better storyline. Its a one time watchable.

Sita Ramam (2022)
A heart touching epic love tale
You may have heard of Laila-majnu, Romeo-juliet. Watch this epic tale of love which starts on a high note and unfolds slowly.
The fusion of suspense and jaw-dropping execution is something this film excels at.
The production values are excellent with story set in 1960's time-line. Music and background score are excellent. Coming to performances everyone did justification to their roles.
This story is about what happens to the relationship between ram and sita as story progresses and their whereabouts. The story is explored very well with good execution.
Pre interval block and Climax twist are amazing.
The story telling and screenplay are outstanding at its finest.
Nope (2022)
One time watch
The movie starts out well and is interesting initially. But as story starts to unfold it's not that thrilling or exciting. And by the end of movie you feel little disappointed. The characters are not that well written apart from lead actor. The performances are fine. The movie falls into the genre of horror thriller. There are lots of threads leftout in the movie which are not connected. Which if they are explored could have been better.
Positives: country side setting, rich production values, great graphics and background score.
Negative: story could have been lot better, not that thrilling, runtime could have been shorter.
Ranveer vs. Wild with Bear Grylls (2022)
A lot boring than expected
It's not that entertaining..neither is the adventure. Too much chat and gossip and less focus on the actual journey. Deepika is like talked about in this episode like a billion times. Not actually necessary.
Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (2022)
Not Enough Multiverse Explored
Well.. with story coming off right after Spiderman No Way Home and considering what an amazing storyline and performances it had. It's a disappointment. Even the multiverse is not much explored. Story line is a minus. Overall one time watch.
RRR (Rise Roar Revolt) (2022)
Grand movie
The concept and story of movie is quite simple.. but the way in which it is executed is excellent. Background score is life of the movie, with larger than life action sequences, amazing sets and graphics. The back ground score is just brilliant 👏
