The Munsters (2022)

Fun movie!

Upon realizing it's more of a spoof part way in, just rode it from there and laughed my *** off the whole time!! Where's Eddie? Maybe not born yet and in the next one hopefully?! It is completely goofy and out there, but the entire time in awe of the sets and colors. Grew up to this show in B/W and yet costumes were colored. Made me feel like I was watching an upgraded version that was strangely comfortable and combined old & new well together. I just wish Herman's voice was a bit more like the original, a bit deeper. Grandpa looked hella close to the original though, which was nice. Honestly thinking of rewatching this one on some psychedelics!

I haven't seen any of Rob Zombies horror movies, but now I'm curious!!

Sooo many familiar faces, which was nice, but not enough to make it memorable. Had a 90s production feel to it looking at some of the low quality/basic sets and shows throughout. Not something I would ever purchase or recommend, could have done better, but hey, the actors tried. Mindless cheesefest when you have run out of things to watch.

So I know people within the music industry that have been in it for over 20 years. I usually have access to V.I.P./backstage....

So that being said, when this came out quite a few of my musician buddies mentioned they had been around N.W.A. in those days or knew people close to them. Their responses though were not so kind. They mentioned quite a bit of this movie is made up/Hollywood fluff just to sell it. So don't take this as an actually history piece, because it is NOT. Pretty much all of them were disgusted by it. Think the real story will ever happen? Most likely not.

Sure, I grew up to their music, but I just couldn't bring myself to finish watching this.

Battlefield 4 (2013 Video Game)

Rushed and broken product!!

It's been 2 months now and things just keep getting worse with each update. Don't believe me? Go check the Battlefield/Battlelog forums yourself. Hundreds, if not thousands of posts with problems and people wanting their money back.

I bought the PS3 copy and got the digital upgrade for PS4. PS3 isn't so bad with problems, but the PS4 has ton of issues. On both, people are losing their campaign save file. Yup, turn on your console the next morning and you have to start all over again! Only thing you can to prevent this is to save your save file to a USB drive. Rubberbanding/lag issues to were you walk a couple feet and stop, a couple more feet and stop. Which got worse after the Jan.14th patch, of which, was one of the things that was supposed to fixed with THAT patch. Doesn't matter if you have an awesome internet connection either. Sounds not being there when you start a map, and after the Jan.14th patch, when the building in Shanghai collapsed my sound died and got majorly choppy to where I had to shut off my PS4 to get normal sound back. And it isn't the PS4, because I also have CoD: Ghosts & Killzone and those two run PERFECT. I didn't renew my PS+ for a couple of weeks just waiting for it to be fixed, nope.

And for some insane reason they made the controls on PS3 different to PS4. R1 or L1 for fire on PS3 and R2 or L2 for fire on PS4. Really annoying when you switch from one system to the other to play with your friends that haven't got a PS4 yet. Call of Duty: Ghosts did both versions the same, why couldn't Battlefield?!? And once again, they give you a map pack with pre-orders, just like they did with Battlefield 3. Well, if you end up getting "premium", you end up paying for that map pack anyway, no discount on premium for already owning one of the map packs, weak. I had bought premium on PS4 and it said it was downloadable to PS3 as well...NOPE. Had to call up Playstation and get a refund and re-buy it on the PS3 for it to be transferable to PS4.

I was a fan of Battlefield for a long time, played: 1942, 1943, #1, #2, Bad Company 1 & 2......but after how POORLY #4 has been, I will NOT be buying Battlefield 5.

edit: a year later and STILL issues, 13 updates later and still broken! They fix a few things and break a few with each update. The most recent massive/fall update, well, now you have to jump over every damn pebble and curb, stuff that anyone should just be able to walk over. Taking 3-4 times jumps to jump over a handrail! Remember when game used to come complete & finished, maybe ONE update? Seems the gaming industry has forgotten and rushes games out now for the holidays and MONEY and with the thought that "hey, we can just fix it with updates later!". So wait on buying games, don't pre-order like sheep and hand over your money blindly, make them go back to decent standards!

If don't remember driving down the freeway and getting a nice long piece of 8 track stuck to your antenna, then this might not be for you. Most of this stand up is a comparison of things and the way things used to be when were kids and the way things are now. Love Tom or hate him, this will bring back some nostalgic moments.

Subjects range from the internet to porn, jobs, reasons for drug legalization, death and his own battle with cancer (and a few off the wall moments).

It has me laughing the whole time. Anyone around the age of 40 should check this out, you'll find something you may have forgotten about or too embarrassed to want to remember : D

I had high hopes for this game, but....

Halfway through the game and i'm tired of it.

1)Tired of the 60's/70's style cutting of scenes (cuts into 2-3 smaller scenes & sliding over here and there). This happens on EVERY cut-scene. Just overkilled it.

2)Tired of the constant distortion. At first I figured it was due to the drinking and painkillers he is taking, but even when he does sober up it still keeps distorting the picture. Overkill once again with this artsy stuff.

3)Tired of the NPCs in the game. Utterly useless. All they do is tell you to "hurry up!" and CONSTANTLY, over and over every few seconds. So damn annoying!!! REALLY REALLY annoying!!!! I think they've killed 2-3 people so far, most of the time they sit there with a gun in hand and pretty much never help, just telling to you "hurry up". Also, you get no time to check things out and search the scene, you take too long and your partner dies, start over from checkpoint.

4)Several times i'm by myself and the last shot comes from out of nowhere. Several times i've taken the last shot, and before it hits them it cuts short and it slips into a cut-scene.

5)In this current world where we are pushing out DVDs and going to Blu-Ray and higher quality, for some reason they went with 720 instead of 1080. WHY in the world would you do that?

6)Attemped to play multi-player. Guessing the host left, but instead of taking you back to the multi-player options scene, it COMPLETELY booted me out the game and back to the PS3 XMB scene.

7)The soundtrack, well, it's more like background noise. There were a bunch of other tracks i've heard (like in the clubs,etc. within the game), that are not on the soundtrack. I would rather have those songs.

8)I've tired to change guns and it wouldn't let me! One point it went into a cut-scene and auto switched to a weapon I didn't even have ammo for! Somehow once the cut-scene ended, it DID have ammo, so weird.

9)Lack of save. If you are in the middle of a cut-scene, your only option is to pause. You have to wait until the cut-scene ends (which could take minutes) and get control back of Max before you can get into the options to exit or do anything else.

10)Quite often I was in a wrong spot and the aiming would NOT work. Gun just shot straight up.

3/10 Almost hating this game as much as "Avatar: The Game"

Harry Potter in his older years?!?!

Stumbled across this recently on Netflix's "watch instantly" section. Have to say, got me hooked.

Imagine Harry Potter has gotten older. He's updated his wand with a drum stick, and instead of a staff.....he's got a hockey stick. Now he's a P.I./wizard for hire & helping the police with "unique" cases.

Not as much magic as I wanted and some effects are a bit cheesy, but the character development is great. Got to the end of the season 1 and wanted more, only to find out there was only one season. Booo! Right when the show started getting REALLY good....gone. Oh well.

If you enjoy magic, Harry Potter & CSI type stuff....check this out. Just don't get into any black magic afterward!
