When I watched this movie the first thing, I thought was this is a bad remake of "Being There" with Peter Sellers. They have a large cast of well-known actors and some of the performances are over the top, especially John Malkovich's performance. It was a barely watchable movie. Charlie Day is no Peter Sellers or Charlie Chaplin and his performance, writing and directing leave something to be desired. He must have called in some favors from friends to make this mess. I'm surprised it got greenlit. There were some scenes that weren't terrible, but by and large this movie was a disaster. I will usually watch any movie, bad or good and this one I didn't pay too much attention to after the first half hour. Definitely one I wouldn't recommend.
