The best movie of all time.
24 March 2024
People used to hate on this movie because they didn't understand the complexity of an animated production that was way advanced for its time (2006). First of all, I wanna praise how worked the animation in this piece of art was. Is one of those movies that you can pause every single frame, and be hypnotized by how beautiful is the color palete (like me when I see Brandy Norwood). The voice acting is top tier too, having big names like FRANCISCO FREITAS or CLÁUDIO SATIRO. But what Da Vinci's son does better is the plot. The story talks about Tonny, a "carrinho" whose dream is participate in "La Gran Corrida", translated as "The Great Cuming", one of the races of all time. But of course, as if no movie has done before, also has a villain, Victor, the viper, which objective is win the "race". Also, the plot-twist is insane, because Victor turns out to be the bad character in the story. As I never said, I got a little bit of hennesy and wrote this filthy review about one of the pieces of history of all time. Thank you for your attention.

Batman: Arkham City (2011 Video Game)
10/10
One of the best videogames of all time.
28 January 2024
I don't know how I can start, because this game has so many positive point to talk, but here we go. First of all, the soundtrack in this game is so well done that it really puts in the cape of Batman. Just the main theme make you assume that this game isn't a generic superhero title. And it isn't. When you start, you realize how much attention the developers put to the cutscenes. The voice acting is top tier, with Kevin Conroy as Batman and Mark Hamill as the Joker, and the graphics, even if the game was released in 2011, still look great to this day, that because the atmosphere is on point and every single building has detail on it. But of course, the most important point here is the gameplay, which is almost perfect, and so much smooth than the combat on Arkham Asylum. Damn! Even the story is great and has an amazing plot-twist that no one saw coming. The only criticism here is the side-missions, that a lot of them are very weak, and neither of them are connected with the story. For the rest, the game is perfect! Totally recommended!

A masterpiece in every way.
21 January 2024
Spongebob Squarepants: The movie, it's an animated film based on the popular show: Spongebob Squarepants (1999 - Actually). It was animated by Nickelodeon movies, and it was directed by Stephen Hillenburg. The story narrates the adventure of Spongebob Squarepants and Patrick, in his search to find Neptune's crown, stolen by Plankton, the main villain of the series and the main rival of Mr Krabs.

The animation is much better than the series. The characters are designed in an incredible way, their expressions are very fluid and the style is much more colorful than the series, giving a more comical touch.

In this film, the comedy gives more importance than the plot, but that doesn't make the plot bad. In fact, this film has got a better plot than a lot of animated films. Well, besides everything said, this movie has got a good message, that speaks to us the importance of being yourself, and ignore the people who judge a book by its cover...

It's quite impressive how they released a movie with only 200 bucks...
13 January 2024
Well, I thought this movie was just a joke, but in reality, I'm quite surprised about how the movie is potrayed. They knew that they haven't got an incredible studio, incredible cinematics or incredible soundtrack. Ramon saw that, and decided to do it at his form, all by himself. He is the main voice for almost every character in the movie, he did the special effects, he wrote the plot himself... And that's exactly what I call dedication. Love to what are you doing. Of course, the special effects or the voice acting were funny, but it also is one of the purposes of the movie. Be enjoyable... and funny! Also, let's not forget that this movie was the first film ever released in the whole african continent. Thank you Ramon, and thank you for taking your time reading my point of view about this masterpiece.

As good as people say. Even better.
3 December 2023
For many years, I have wanted to see this movie. I had heard various opinions praising the performances, the scenery, the soundtrack... However, I never got to see it, until today. And, after seeing it, I can affirm that it is a contender to be one of the best films in history. There is no criticizable point. Heath Ledger's performance is one of the best performances ever given on the big screen, and even the secondary characters shine. The city has a tone of horror, suffering and fear, just as someone would imagine Gotham, and all this thanks to the excellent setting that this feature film presents, both in terms of the scenery and the music, composed by the famous Hans Zimmer. Last but not least is the plot, and I can firmly say that it is one of the best I have ever heard in my life. I still can't assimilate how well the Joker's plans are made, worthy of a crazy but charismatic and cunning villain.

In conclusion: 10/10.

Jamiroquai: Virtual Insanity (1996 Music Video)
10/10
Best Music Video of all time.
29 October 2023
Virtual Insanity is a Funk and R&B song released in 1996 by the group Jamiroquai, sung specifically by Jay Kay. Although the instrumental of the song and the beat are incredible, what makes this song special is its innovative video clip. This shows us Jay being dragged through a world where technology is the basis of human existence, which would fit with the song itself and, curiously, with the reality in which we live. While it is true that there are several events that never occurred, these should be taken as metaphorical elements. However, what this video clip contains is a supposed floor that moves randomly and makes the protagonist make different movements, either with his hands or his legs. Although there is a sensation of movement in the floor, it turns out that it always remained static during filming, and what caused this effect were the surrounding walls. Simply incredible.

8 Mile (2002)

Mom's spaguetti.
14 May 2023
More than 20 years ago, the most important and bleak film in the history of Gangsta rap was released. Indeed, I am talking about 8 Mile, a feature film starring the famous rapper Eminem, made in 2002. Undoubtedly, a classic film that combines the gloomy world of the music industry with a satirical tone in some sections.

This tape explores several facets of music that we had not seen, in the skin of "Rabbit", a rapper with great aspirations. However, to achieve this he will have to participate in a roast battle. Beyond how simple the premise may seem, the combination of funny and dark elements, characteristic of Eminem, and also the handling of a great soundtrack, gives it a touch of tension that few feature films bring with them. However, its most iconic point is the main theme of this one, "Lose Yourself", composed by Marshall himself.

Osmosis Jones (2001)
9/10
Amazing.
19 October 2022
Osmosis Jones is a film directed by the Farrelly brothers, and released on August 7, 2001. In this, we are introduced to a repulsive being, who calls himself Frank, and who lives with his daughter. Coincidentally, Frank catches a cold, and, along with it, a virus, which almost leads to his death. At first glance, the plot doesn't seem that interesting, however, the important thing here is what happens inside Frank's body. In this, there is an entire city where there are police forces, firefighters, even a government system. One of these "policemen" is Osmosis Jones, or better known as Ozzy, who together with his partner Drix, will have to stop Thrax, the virus that was previously mentioned.

The plot is very original, but the section that stands out the most is the animation and the very good interaction between the characters presented. The only flaw I see is the live action parts, they are quite uncomfortable. By the way, I must mention that this film contains very violent scenes for a feature film for all audiences. Honestly, I was surprised to see it. Well, like I said, Osmosis Jones is a fantastic movie worth seeing - 9/10.

Good game!
8 October 2022
Crash Bandicoot 4, the wrath of Cortex, is a game ported for playstation 2, Gamecube and XBOX, released in 2001, by traveler's tales. The first factor that stands out in this game is the generation gap, for obvious reasons. However, that does not take away from the game its problems with the quality of the graphics... This point is based on the character designs, because these are really bad... However, I must say that the scenarios look really good.

Let's go with the gameplay. Crash Bandicoot 4 has a huge variety of levels. I know this may sound positive, and in part it is. The problem with these levels is mainly the controls. The levels that present these problems are those of water. Except for that, most of the levels are enjoyable, especially the ball ones.

The last point I want to expose is the musical section... And it's great! Many people have problems with this, and I understand why, which is why this point is based on my opinion. This game provides us with electronic music, which makes sense when seeing what time it was released.

Conclusion: This game is highly underrated by critics. The problems that I can see are its OBVIOUS inspiration to Crash Bandicoot 3, the character design and the aquatic levels. Therefore, this one gets an 8/10. Thank you for taking the time to read to the end.

Crash Bash (2000 Video Game)
7/10
Best party game of the Crash Bandicoot series.
26 December 2021
I find it strange to think that no one has made a criticism before, but here we go.

After the sad farewell to Naughty dog, the crash saga was left in the hands of universal, and it sent Eurocom to create the following game: Crash Bash.

For starters, the game's graphics are pretty good, even better than Crash Bandicoot 1. However, the reason I give it a 7 is because of the gameplay.

Where I start, the game has good controls, yes, that is very positive, but what is not positive is its excessive difficulty. The game is torture, and he himself is aware of it. To fix it, the game uses quite peculiar mechanics. Every time you die, the difficulty decreases.

Contrary to what many might think, this game contains history. In truth, why lying to us is the least important thing. Simple enough, but it serves to introduce us to the game.

Finally we come to the best section of the game, the soundtrack. Many will not agree with me, and I understand it, because everyone has a personal opinion about everything. Yes, I understand that the soundracks do not seem to be taken from a crash video game, but that matters, anyway, crash bandicoot 4 (the original from 2001), it didn't use typical Crash songs, and despite that, they were songs.

In conclusion, Crash Bash is a great video game, quite fun and underrated, that is worth playing 22 years later.

Extra = I find it amazing that I made the first critique of crash bash on imdb.
