This is a funny movie. It pokes fun at everything western. Lee Marvin's performance was great. Jane Fonda was the straight actor. Keeping the seriousness in the film. Grrat movie for the time.

All star cast. Multiple layers of characters. You have your millionaires living along side people struggling to get by. You had hurricanes, crooks, relationship issues, stubborn, hard headed tenants, compassionate people. Very good story line. Great for the time period.

Great acting of principle characters played by Jobeth Williams and Keith Carradine. A lot actors from the day. Good story about an actual crime. If that trooper didn't feel hinkie that case may never have been solved. Its truly a sad case.

Sad to see the great John Huston in a low budget film. He did another horror movie called, Tentacles around the same time. The underwater scenes are great. More importantly I wouldn't be fishing no doll out of the water in the Bermuda Triangle. It's good for the time period.
