A Most Wanted Man (2014)

A yawn fest

I have always wanted enjoyed a spy thriller. Something about someone pretending to be something they are not. I also enjoy seeing Phillip Seymour Hoffman acting. But....this film does not offer much, except an easy way to fall asleep. Boring is how I describe this movie. I kept waiting for something to happen but it never did. A refugee has 10million dollars in a European bank that his father, a war criminal, has left to him. He says he doesn't want the money. Yeah...right.. now PSH is trying to figure out how terrorist are funding their operations. They are scheming money off the top of legitimate means.... So the idea is to use the 10 million to tempt the terrorist to steal some of it ......yawn fest.

I do not even know what to say about season 3. The first and second seasons were excellent..but season 3 seemed pointless. Like me writing these unnecessary words.

I was not expecting anything special. I saw a young African American actor as the lead and I said why not? I was taken back at first because each episode was only 10mins....then I saw Queen latifh was in it too, so I was hooked. A solid coming of age movie of first love gone astray with a double murder to boot.

Wireless (2020)

Wireless got a lot of bad reviews but it actually was not that bad...some stupid 20 something college kid doesn't know how to put his phone down when he driving in a winter storm.

Candyman (2021)

I thought Candyman 2021 was decent. The only part that did not fit with the movie was the killing of the four white girls from high school. Do not believe all the negative reviews. It was a decent enough movie. I actually got goosebumps a couple of times.

Most Wanted (2020)

A pleasant surprise of a movie. Glad to know that American cops are not the only corrupt cops in the world. After watching this movie, I researched the real case. A lot of information in the film checked out. A good historical fiction movie.

Do not waste your time on this horrible movie. Bad acting, bad writing, just bad.....I just didn't care about any of the characters. . Not a Tom Clancy book..

Nothing else to do on a Saturday night because I lost my mojo. I decided to watch this movie. Nice to see my South African brothers in a film. I never seen a South African movie.

My review...

The first 40mins could have been told in 20mins.

A conspiracy thriller it is..a lot of action. Good fight scenes. My question is....

Do the police put handcuffs in the front of a person in South Africa?

For some reason, that visual really bothered me.

I am a fan of both sissy spacek and j.k. Simmons so I decided to watch. Also, I am unemployed and have a lot of time on my hand..ep.1was character development...slow and steady.ep. 2 introduced new characters. I know and read the negative reviews....but I HV nothing else to do.

Well written. Well directed. Well acted. I found it to be realistic with the all aspects of a criminal investigation. Especially the police indifference and manipulation of suspects...."he is a subtle beast. "

When Marky Mark ask the plant is it okay to go to the restroom, I knew this movie was doomed.... But it is Friday night, and I have no drugs...so this is what's "happening".....I have HBO, groceries, and ac... that's the only reason why I am watching....that and the fact that I loved sixth sense, signs, and unbreakable.....

I was 13 when I saw the first Halloween with my mom and brothers. I am 55 now. The first one scared the beejeeves out of me. I have see all of them....it's a tradition. I take my son and his friend every year to see the newest installment....this one was more of a comedy. I spent $120 on tickets and pizza......I am creating memories.... I really wish my son could experience the terror I experienced 42 years ago.....not with Halloween Kills.

What I never really liked about these films are the thousands of bullets that fly towards the targets ....not one finds its target. 2. Neon always has that dim witted high school expression on his face. And 3. I always thought Kate looked to old for the part she is playing.

I HV never watched a matrix movie complete through.... something better always come up like clipping my toenails or smoking crack.

This movie is so ridiculously stupid.

Some steroid pumped NFL player decides on becoming an actor and the result is this laughable movie. Not well written. No special effects.

I wasn't expecting much from the title...but the killing in the first 5mins. Had me hooked..... Nice breasts breasts and when the sista said, man or woman either one you find your head between some one's legs.....I knew I would love this movie.
