Spooky Buddies (2011)
Spooktacular!
I didn't expect going into this movie thinking there would be a lot of scares, but boy oh boy was I surprised when I got jumpscared 20 times in 5 seconds, but that just told me I was in it for the long haul! The amount of profanities those rapscallions were speaking made sure I knew I was in for a treat. When Springtrap from five nights at candy's walked in and said "It's time to spring the trap!" I was in a state of pure nightmarish terror. The dogs acting was depressingly bad, and I must say, when the girl dog started giving birth on screen my litter of 2 month old babies started bawling at 8 decibels each and put all of their fluids into a bathtub! This movie is monstrous, do watch.
Mitch out.
-PS, One of the babies i own has the vegeta haircut from watching this movie.
Inspector Gadget Mario (2011)
The basis of a generation.
Simply put, this video, no- this movie, no-- this film is a masterpiece that had been the jumpstart of a new era for the internet and the change to the idea of humor itself.
Within the film, Mike and James show off the DVD menus of a 2002 Super Mario Bros. Super Show compilation of their "greatest movie moments" from the show. But Mike and James aren't making the film for the show, but rather the menus' within the DVD, which contains a feature Known as "DiC Easy Play", where within Dic's original character; Inspector Gadget helps to explain the menus' and how to navigate them. Some of Gadgets words within these explanations are repeatedly and strangely exaggerated, such as button, glow, back,
menu, and your. Mike and James commentate these menus', soon able to find the hypocrisy of Gadgets help, with you needing to move your cursor (referred to as the glow) to the help button, saying that the creators of the disk believe that the audience is comprised of idiots.
They also realize that the subtitles menu only contains 1 subtitle language, despite Gadget saying that they could select A subtitle language and not just English.
Soon after navigating the other menus, Mike and James decide to play the trivia game to see the bonus feature for its completion. They begin the game, learning from Gadget that they will see 4 answers to a trivia question, and how they must move the glow to an answer to see if they are correct, if they don't, they will be given another chance, and the 2 begin the game. They start off picking the answer of Bunsun due to neither of them having any memory of that character, on the next question they answer with "a sandwich" which they do not know if they had gotten it right or wrong. They move on to the next question, which asks about who had helped the mario bros get to the lost mushroom, with them humoressly answering with "Indiana Joe". The next question asks who's plan turns Link into a toad, with the obvious answer being ganon. The next question confuses the 2 for a moment, asking "What's room number that the Mario Bros. Were put into in Koopulas Castle?" They are confused at first but soon realize the grammatical error within the question, saying the actual question should read "What's the room number that the Mario Bros. Were put into in Koopulas Castle?" they answer that the room is room #1, and the dvd switches to a screen with Gadget holding a shrug with his robotic hands, with a piece of text to his right saying "that was very close. Why don't you...TRY AGAIN" with them realizing the game would tell you the answer is wrong. They soon begin doing purposely poor impressions of inspector gadget, saying one liners, insults, and cusses using his voice. They begin to go on about moving the glow upon the intergluteal crease of Gadget, with them soon beginning to do an outro asking why Inspector Gadget is on the Dvd and why he believes the audience is idiots, and the film ends.
The main quality of the film comes with the humorous remarks brought by mike and James, with them saying insults and cusses in his voice, which they find greatly humorous. Another quality of the DVD they find strange is that in order to select gadget to learn to use the arrows to move the glow, you need to move the glow to the help button.
There really isn't a villain to the film, but gadget would eventually become the villain within the video's sequel, Minecraft with Gadget. Many aspects of This film had been reused for it's sequel, such as a poor inspector Gadget impression, making iconic characters cuss, and basic review.
This film is a masterful, abhorrently hilarious, disgustingly high quality, and there isn't any nostalgia critic, and I HATE NOSTALGIA CRITIC!!!!!!!!!
Minecraft with Gadget (2012)
This is better than all of Disney's library.
I've seen beauty and the beast, and I've always thought it really blows. The film Minecraft with Gadget is one of the greatest--god I don't even want to say fan films, but just films in general! The main character is perfect, the villain is perfect, the romance is perfect, the songs are perfect, and even the design of gadget, look at that thing!
I could watch this movie a million times and never get tired of it. When I saw sprited away this is the movie I thought I was gonna get. Now, lets talk about the absolute best aspect of the film; the story. Mike matei and Inspector Gadget appear to be playing a game on Mike's Ipad when the video starts, with Mike introducing himself and Inspector Gadget, with Mike saying that Inspector gadget is his good friend. He asks how Gadget is doing, Gadget replies with saying he's having a lot of fun. Mike asks Gadget to do some reviews with him, with Gadget proclaiming that he's superior to Mike and that he should do the review, to which Mike accepts. Gadget then tells Mike to shut up and how he is always on duty. Gadget. Then asks if Mike has played the game "mineycrafta" saying that penny had told him that she had been playing the game on her "computer-book". He then tells Mike to play "mineycrafta", to which Mike says that he has Minecraft and it may be what gadget was talking about. Mike opens Minecraft on the Ipad seen before, with Gadget saying that it is mineycrafta, showing that mineycrafta is minecraft. Mike corrects him, saying minecraft, and Gadget calls it minecrap mockingly. Gadget states that he cannot wait to play Minecrap. He then asks if Mike knows what his favorite thing to do is in Minecrap, with Gadget saying that he loves building bricks with Minecrap. He soon begins going on a monologue, saying that "Building bricks with Minecrap is the best thing and the most amount of fun you can have while playing an app." also saying that he "Understand why all the kids are playing this game these days, it's because they like to build brown bricks with Minecrap." and how he also likes to build brown bricks with Minecrap. Saying "It's the most fun, you can possibly have." He asks what the point of Minecrap is, to which Mike replies saying that there really isn't a goal due to it being a sandbox game. Gadget mistakingly believes that this means a literal sandbox, saying that he loves sandcastles, but Mike corrects him saying you can do things like build things and mess around. Gadget than asks what kinds of things you can build, to which Mike replies that you can build anything, with him saying someone had built a scale model of the Starship Enterprise. Gadget then says that he has deducted that the builder of the Ship has quite possibly never had sex. Mike then tells inspector gadget that it's about expressing creativity, with Gadget arguing that the builder had just copied a "fake rocket ship blueprint designed by someone else" and how it seems more like monkey see monkey do rather than being creative. Mike than begins to argue that Gadget thinks he can do better, with gadget saying that he has a robotic implant in his brain that lets him do 12,000,000,000 calculations each second, with him saying that he could rewrite the games code while helping penny with her homework and cleaning Brains Duty, all at once. Gadget then says that the builder is a nerd, and how he hates nerds more than he hate M. A. D agents, with him saying "what ***Hole!". Mike then begins to argue that he believes that the builder used minecraft in a creative way. He begins to trail off while Gadget uncaps his middle finger, and kills Mike using a laser shot from his finger to kill Mike. He then sees an oppurtunity to take a free Ipad, and the film ends.
Now, let's talk about the good stuff, becuase there's a lot. Let's talk about what everybody remembers: The villain
Inspector Gadget is such a terrifying awesome villain. He does all the horrible things that all the other dreamworks villains do, but they actually make him complex. He tries to convince himself that he's a soldier for god and yet he's constantly doing horrible things, then he tries to justify it every single time I love it that's a great character! But it doesn't just stop there. The stuff they do with Mike Matei is unbelievable. This is probably one of the best characters of all time. I don't even know what else to say it's just so good. The dynamic between MIke and Gadget is also very likeable. And though using pocket edition isn't technically that great, there's so much heart and passion put into it that you don't care.
OH OH MY GOD, theres this one scene, I just don't know what's going on it's where they review this dvd menu, I mean have you seen it? Gadget helps you navigate the menu's!
By god! Look at the animation on Gadget! I don't know who animated him but give them all grammies! If I really had to nitpick anything I mean really anything, its that in this film I hate nostalgia critic but like I said that's really scraping the bottom of the barrel in terms of nitpicking. To be honest I have no problems with this film at all. I think It's one of those perfect films, however there is a downside, yes there is. It came out the same year as The Artist, so everyone went to see that same rehash that wasn't even funny in the first place instead of this really funny really smart artistically put together film. Oh god do I hate The Artist, it's right up there with beauty and the beast with just no creativity, no spontaneity no passion no effort just pure phoned in -----. God I think it would scar most kids. But with The Artist I couldn't find much to like in it. If I had a kid and they wanted to watch The Artist, I would just show them Minecraft With Gadget again. The artist just sucks.
