Southpaw (2015)
Love and hate
I loved the beginning of the story to show how perfect and awesome the wife was how she was there for him. The movie really played with my feelings when she ended up dying and how much she cares for him and how much he cared for her. Showed really their love they had, the movie also showed how pride is a man's biggest downfall and how becuase of it he lost what was truly important for him. I loved the wife and loved how the movie played with that, then the dumb daughter happened. Why was the daughter so unlikable and bratty the movie kinda fell off in the middle of how unreasonable it was. I dislike the daughter and didint care for her at almost like she didint even came from them. Instead of such a fight between them why couldn't they do that or at least explain the anger she dad for him. It would make sense if she ended up finding out that he was the reason the mom died and that's why she was mad at him for that. That wasn't explain and the scene would be way more impactful and make sense this movie needed more scenes and more explanations. Like why was he a famous champion and poor where was his first coach how did he end up going broke again more scenes with more explanations would of made this movie great if he ended up realizing that it was his pride that was his downfall and he grew from that it would be way better. Later it did end up getting better though.
The Matrix (1999)
Most Revolutionary movie of its time
I really enjoyed the trilogy of this movies they were great and have a such a great concept I would like to add one thing. Although this movies are great I wish we had more of a emotional connection with the main character where it could be a little more realistic. Your telling me had no emotional connection to anybody in his life even maybe if he was a orphan that could explain why he was so alone, but not even a lover or a best friend. I understand he was probably maybe depressed or saw no point in his life, but maybe that explains why he was the one. He was saw everything as just codes and numbers and therefore saw how simply of it all was. Still even explaining his emotions and all that would of been a great thing to understand still a great a movie specially from its time.

A movie not about general but a king and a warrior
I love this type of movies that make me bring out the raw nature of masculinity this movie was not about how men win wars but about the heart and bravery of warriors. The main character was great for what it portrays, and what happens when there is a imbalance. There is a arrogance in this character as everyone is flawed and this movie shows it perfectly. When the humpback guy that was following them wanted to join them he seemed to have a understanding of battle tactics the king was dissmisive of him instead of listening to his perspective. I'm glad he was respectful to him but everyone can help in their own way in war even a farmer can help to the passage of victory. Heart and a warriors mantality can take you so far. The king although in the end proved his point his message was loud and was heard.
