Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes (2024)

A great start to a new trilogy

A great follow up to the last trilogy. Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes was my most anticipated film of 2024 and honestly, it's my favorite film of 2024. Not the worst from the Apes franchise but I'll need to rewatch it to decide which one is the best one.

I don't really think you need to see the prequels to see this one. Beautiful cinematography and amazing work on VFX. The acting is great too!

The film is meant to be seen on a big screen so I would recommend Imax.

I hope this film won't flop because it would be a shame.

I'm genuinely happy I got to see this one in a cinema because I love the prequels and this is a film that really is made for cinema.

I can't wait for the next chapter of the newest Planet Of The Apes trilogy.

Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom (2023)

Almost fell asleep but Jason Momoa and Patrick WIlson kept me awake

I just saw Aquaman And The Lost Kingdom in 2D. I thought that it was pretty bad but I guess it's not worse than what I expected.

Some scenes were visually beautiful but some scenes have such bad CGI, even worse than the CGI from The Flash.

The thing I loved the most in the movie was definitely Jason Momoa and Patrick Wilson. Jason Momoa is just a perfect aquaman and Patrick Wilson perfect Ocean Master. I also think the villian (Black Manta) was ok.

I totally forgot the 1st Aquaman so I had some idea what was going on.

It's just that these kind of superhero movies are too predictable, you feel like you already know the end and that is why I think that Aquaman And The Lost Kingdom was not that good.

Maestro (2023)

Bradley Cooper's oscar worthy performance

Maestro is an artesian film. I think the film had great soundtrack, great performance from Bradley Cooper and Carey Mulligan, beautiful cinematography but I think that there is no story in the movie. We know that Leonard Bernstein was a great conductor but I was just waiting for something big to happen. Maestro is like watching a concert and a documentary.

I loved Bradley Cooper's performance mostly. He directed the film. It was one of the greatest performances I ever saw. The transformation and the acting was amazing. I even read that Bradley Cooper was trained for 6 years to conduct in this film. Bradley Cooper really wants his oscar after being nominated for 9 times.

I would recommend this film if you like drama/romance films.

Wonka (2023)

Wonka made me cry of happiness I felt watching the movie

I just saw Wonka in a theater and it's probbably one of my favorite movies. I didn't had high hopes for Wonka and I was not dissapointed.

Everything is just great in this film. The cast was awesome, Thimothee Chalament was so great as Willy Wonka and Rowan Atkinson, Keegan Miachel Key, Hugh Grant were great. With this lovely performance I think Timothee Chalament is the best Wonka.

I'm really glad that Paul King (director of Paddington 1 and 2) directed this movie because he truly does know how to make a family movie.

Wonka is a magical, fun, and a heartwarming movie I seen so far and it's a Christmas film.

Five Nights at Freddy's (2023)

I never played the game so I think it's not that bad

I saw this movie in a theater and honestly enjoyed the film

I really loved the story. It's about a guy named Mike who is broken because as a kid he watched his brother getting kidnapped. He dreams the same dream every night trying to remember the kidnapper. He is also living with his sister Abby.

I think it's an interesting story but I just don't quite seem to realize what does it have to do with Five Night's At Freddy's. I think the movie is more focusing on Mike's story rather than the game.

The thing I think nobody liked is that the movie is not scary at all. I think it's more creepy than scary. I just can't believe that Blumhouse productions made this movie. Blumhouse are like the kings of horror movies.

I also loved Matthew Lillard's performance and Josh Hutcherson's acting.

I think that the movie is only PG-13 because the game is a kids horror game.

I would recommend this movie if you want to watch something scary but you don't want to get scared.

Trolls Band Together (2023)

Trolls Band Together is fun, good and great in 3D

I loved the film. I saw it in reald 3D and I was not disappointed.

I remember seeing Trolls World Tour during quarantine but I didn't much like that one so I wasn't very excited for this one.

I honestly think this one is my favorite from all of the Trolls movies.

I really loved the animation. So great in 3D and just worth watching. I loved the new character besides trolls. I honestly don't even know what are the two brother and sister singers Velvet and Venner were.

I just didn't like is that I realized that I think that Branch doesn't even tell his brother that their grandma died.

Trolls Band Together definitely a solid great animated movie.

Saw X (2023)

A great sick film

I enjoyed it. I saw it in a theater and it was definitely worth it.

I really loved the story. After finding out that he has brain cancer, John Kramer travels to Mexico for a medical procedure. After he discovers the entire operation was a scam, with a help of his partner Amanda, he kidnaps the people behind the whole thing and he tortures them.

I love the twist, they were very surprising. I just can't believe how good this movie was. There were a lot of scenes I barely watched.

It's more a thriller movie rather than a horror movie.

I never saw any Saw movies but after seeing this I'm definitely watching the first one because Saw X is a prequel for this one.

It's a great film with great twists.

The Creator (2023)

Finally a great sci-fi action film

I just saw it in a theater. It has a great story and I just didn't get how this movie shows how American military has such selfish awful leaders.

John David Washington was so great in this film. I couldn't wait for an another John David Washington film since Tenet.

It's a very emotional film. I even cried on the end.

Gareth Edwards should direct more movies. I hope he does more movies.

The film really made an effort on the budget. I mean they just spend on what they need and they really try to keep it low.

I really loved the soundtrack composed by Hans Zimmer. Since Top Gun Maverick I couldn't wait for his next soundtrack.

So the movie is about a future war between US and east Asia. USA are trying to kill the creator so they could not go extinct while east Asia is trying to kill the weapon which USA built to kill AI.

I would really recommend this movie!

My Big Fat Greek Wedding 3 (2023)

Really lovely shots of Greece

I saw it in a theater but I knew I was not gonna like this movie. I saw My Big Fat Greek Wedding and My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2 and I just kind of wanted to see this movie. I suppose that My Big Fat Greek Wedding 3 is a bad movie but a good end for the trilogy. That is why I give this movie a 6.

I enjoyed watching the beautiful shots of Greece and due to this movie I really wanna go there during summer. To be honest the jokes were funny.

I didn't like the story that much. In the prequels there a lot of family and in this movie there isn't as many family as in prequels. I was sad to hear that the actor who acted the father of Toula died.

I would recommend this movie only if you don't know what to watch.

A Haunting in Venice (2023)

This is how you make a good murder mystery movie

I just saw it in cinema. It is great in Dolby Atmos.

I loved the movie. I really loved the actors, the story, the ending,... Kenneth Branagh is just an incredible actor and this was his very good preformance. Michelle Yeoh was also good. I really loved the film location and Venice is just a beautiful city.

I just don't like that the movie is happenning in Italy and everyone speaks English. I wanted to hear some Italian but there wasn't any Italian.

I was suprised to hear that this was a sequel to movies Death On The Nile and Murder On The Orient Express.

I would very much recommend this movie I really loved it and it really has a suprising end.

The Equalizer 3 (2023)

Denzel Washington never disappoints

I saw it in a cinema. It's very good. The Equalizer 3 is a good end for The Equalizer trilogy I just didn't like blood all the time going for 5 minutes straight. I mean it was just too much blood but it's still an action thriller movie. There were also 2-3 frightening scenes that were so unexpected.

I guess I liked the opening scene in the vineyard with Roberto. I also of course loved Denzel Washington's acting. The thing I loved the most the filming location. Italy is a beautiful place and it is a very good filming location for the movie.

I love Denzel Washington's movies such as Training Day, Malcolm X, American Gangster, ... Denzel Washington is the reason I saw this movie. Hollywood should cast Denzel Washington more.

Haunted Mansion (2023)

Kind of fun but could've been better

I saw it in a movie theater. I don't' get why this is a PG-13 movie because for me it's a PG family movie.

It's not that funny and I guess it's not much of a comedy movie.

The one thing I didn't like the most is the animation but mostly the animation of the ghosts.

The cast is ok; there are some good actors such as LaKeith Stanfield, Owen Wilson, Danny DeVito, Jamie Lee Curtis, Jared Leto, ... Well, I would recommend this movie only if you have a child and if you can't decide what movie to watch.

I suppose I will have to watch the original 2003 Haunted Mansion with Eddie Murphy, so I could decide which one is better.

Gran Turismo (2023)

Mind blowing

I saw it in a theater last night and it was better than I expected. The race scenes were mind blowing and it was a really awesome movie.

I started to think that video game adaption movies are getting better and better.

It's not much of a video game movie it's more of a biographical sports drama.

I loved the cast and the characters. Orlando Bloom , David Harbour and I can't wait for the new movie Saltburn with Archie Madekwe.

I love racing movies like Fast And Furious, Baby Driver, Ford V Ferrari,... but Gran Turismo is my favorite movie with the racing scenes.

I highly recommend this movie and it's definitely worth watching!!!

Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part One (2023)

Every movie gets better and better.

I saw it in a theater and it got me thinking that this might be ne of the greatest franchises currently. Tom Cruise is one of the greatest actors in the world.

I can't wait for Mission Impossible Dead Reckoning Part Two which is supposed to release next year.

This movie has the one the best stunts ever. The driving a motorcycle off the top of around 1,200-meter-high crag was just brilliant. Every Mission Impossible movie has a good stunt.

One of the problem from this movie is that it bombed due to it's high budget of $290M.

Anyways trust me you won't get bored on this movie. I highly recommend this movie and I can't wait for the next part.

Meg 2: The Trench (2023)

It's the same as the 1st part

I saw it in RealD 3D, and it's meant to be seen in 3D. I honestly liked the movie a little bit, but I was still disappointed. I just don't quite understand why Jason Statham agreed to do the sequel. But I think it's because of money. The 1st part made over $530M at the worldwide box office and this one might make a lot.

I really loved the opening scene with Jonas and the song Under Pressure, because I thought that I might like the movie. I also really loved the scenes where Jonas fights the Meg, that was kind of cool.

The movie had a lot of frightening scenes which I didn't expect.

There is only thing I don't like and that is that this movie was unnecessary.

Barbie (I) (2023)

Not better than Oppenheimer but a fun movie

I saw it in a theater the day after I saw Oppenheimer and it was a fun movie.

I honestly think Margot Robbie is perfect as barbie in this movie. Ryan Gosling as Ken is also good. I think that because of the movies PG-13 rating the movie doesn't target audience aren't kids and there were some violence scenes and Barbie really mentions a lot of death and she has thoughts of dying.

The movie opened $155M and I think it's going to reach $1B at the worldwide box office.

The things I really liked some of the soundtrack. The soundtrack features Billie Eilish, Ice Spice and Nicki Minaj, Dua Lipa, and so much more singers. I also really loved the song Just Ken by Ryan Gosling. I also loved the idea of making this movie and the director Greta Gerwig is just a great film director from movies such as Lady Bird and Little Women.

Some scenes were very boring but I guess it's ok.

I just think that you can't compare this movie to Oppenheimer because Oppenheimer is way better.

It's a good movie.

It's still a good movie and my expect.

Oppenheimer (I) (2023)

This was an experience I never want to forget in my life

There is not a single thing I didn't like in this film.

I haven't seen it in IMAX because I didn't have an IMAX theater near me but I saw it in Dolby Atmos theater. My number #1 favorite film is Oppenheimer! I haven't seen Barbie yet but I think Oppenheimer should win Barbie at box office. Christopher Nolan inspired me to become a movie director one day. The movie has a fantastic cast. Believe me but this movie will win multiple Academy Awards including best picture, best director Christopher Nolan, best actor for Cillian Murphy, and maybe supporting actors and actresses for Robert Downer Jr., Matt Damon and Emily Blunt. Cillian Murphy's performance was brilliant.

Barbie might win Barbenheimer battle but Oppenheimer will always be a better movie and will win definitely win multiple Academy Awards!

Oppenheimer is the most important person in the history of the world and I thank Christopher Nolan for making this movie.

The Flash (I) (2023)

Let's get nuts

I saw it in a theater, and it was better than I thought it was. The bad reviews are very wrong, and this movie was so great. I don't think this movie deserved to bomb.

I loved the superheroes and the battle scenes but the 2 Flashes, Batman and Supergirl is a real good Justice League team. Black Adam and Shazam Fury of The Gods were kind of bad and I thought that The Flash might be bad because DCEU have so much bad films and some good ones, but I was wrong. I love that this movie also teaches us to love our parents and it's just sad that Barry lost his mom, and he still fights to change the past so he can live with her.

I didn't like that CGI was actually pretty bad and that's mostly it.

Honestly this is my number 1 favorite DCEU film.

Elemental (2023)

Even if it's too familiar it's a beautiful kids film

I saw it in reald3d in a theater and I absolutely enjoyed this movie.

The story is wonderful but it's kind of similar to Zootopia. I loved the animation and Pixar definitely have the best animated films. I loved the romance between Amber and Wade, and I honestly cried when they kissed and when Amber realizes that she is in love with Wade.

What I didn't like is the story is just expected, you already probably know the end but still it's a kids movie.

When I saw the official trailer for Elemental, I honestly thought it was going to be an amazing film because of the idea, the story and the animation, and I mostly got from what I expected.

Elemental is a beautiful Pixar film, and I would recommend it.

Asteroid City (2023)

A real Wes Anderson film

I saw this movie in a AMC theater and it was amazing. The Grand Budapest Hotel is still the best by Wes Anderson but this one for me is number 3, while number 2 is Moonrise Kingdom.

I liked the story and the cast of course very much, because every Wes Anderson movie always has a good story and a big cast. My favorite thing about this movie is it feels and you know it's a Wes Anderson movie from the way he directs and tells the story.

There are not too many things I didn't like but I think that the worse thing is there were too many characters. I love the cast but it's just too much. That's why I think this movie is a 9/10.

I highly recommend this movie to be seen!

Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny (2023)

I loved the action

I saw it in a theater, and I was hoping to enjoy it.

The things I didn't like is that they animated Harrison Ford's face to look younger in the beginning of the movie when he was fighting nazis, but that's not that bad because they had, because Harrison Ford is too old. I didn't like that Steven Spielberg didn't direct the film because he refused to, but the director James Mangold is also a great director of such films as Logan or Ford V Ferrari. I also didn't like the time travel thing. At first when they are going back in time to go to World War II, they end up way before World War II and they meet the mathematician Archimedes, but it was fun to watch.

I liked the action so much with the music by John Williams. Harrison Ford of course. Mads Mikkelsen as a villain Nazi was just a brilliant acting and he is such a great actor.

Anyways the movie is better than I thought it was going to be and the movie sadly bombed box office, but I think it's a great experience in a theater.

Transformers: Rise of the Beasts (2023)

Not bad but not good

I saw this film in a theater, and I was hoping to enjoy but I was bored. Bumblebee movie is still the greatest Transformers movie. Well the things I liked in the film are the action, Pete Davidson as Mirage and Bumblebee. The things I didn't like is Optimus Prime being so angry at the humans because Optimus Prime always protects humans. I also didn't like the story that much because it's just boring. The film bombed box office and it was expected to bomb.

In the post credit scene Noah was offered a job to be a G. I. Joe and that was kind of confusing, but I realized now that the movie confirmed a live-action crossover between Transformers and the G. I. Joe franchise.

Anyways, the film was ok and better than the prequels.

Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse (2023)

We waited 5 years and it's worth the wait

I saw it in 2D, and I didn't want to leave the theater because I enjoyed this movie so much. Spider Man Across the Spider Verse is better than the Spider Man into The Spider Verse and it might be one of the greatest sequels ever made. This film is the 1st part of the 2nd movie of The Spider Verse franchise and the movie will be continued in the 3rd movie titled Spider Man Beyond the Spider Verse which is supposed to hit in theaters in 2024. The animation in the film is so good and they had a lot of money for the film. I hope and I think that The Spider Verse will be one of the greatest Spider Man franchises ever!

Fast X (2023)

Jason Momoa is such a good villain!

I think it is better than F9: The Fast Saga because of the new cast added.

Jason Momoa is the reason I enjoyed the movie, because of his acting.

I hope they make an 11th part.

The movie bombed because of it's high budget of $340M estimated.

It was kind of boring and the story was ok.

No cars or people were harmed making this movie.

Furious 7 is still the best Fast And Furious movie but Fast X is not the worst. I haven't saw every Fast And Furious movies but from the once I saw F9: The Fast Saga is the worse one.

The movie grossed over $700M worldwide and it's gonna end it's box office probably around $730M worldwide.

This movie will definitely stream on Peacock soon.

Anyways it's a decent action film!

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 (2023)

A perfect end for a perfect movie

Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 3 might be one of my favorite movies ever. It's also my favorite MCU movie.

The soundtrack is amazing. I love the song Creep by Radiohead.

Chris Pratt is fantastic but the other actors and actresses were also wonderful.

The movie is very emotional and it tells a sad story of Rocket's life.

I saw it in 3D and I just enjoyed the movie.

I don't think that this Guardians Of The Galaxy movie will reach $1B at the worldwide box office, but it will like finish with nearest $870 at the worldwide box office.

The post credit scene was very suprising and I hope they return.
