We Have a Ghost (2023)

You will absolutely like it

We have a Ghost is a nice comedy with a part of drama. I liked this movie. The actors played very well, especially David Harbour. He shows us a great range of different emotions despite the fact that he can't speak. The movie begins as a simple comedy with a cliche story, but next we see an interesting plot and dynamic action. Young Yahi Winston also plays well. Nice music helps to bring a mystic atmosphere.

The show is very kind. There are really many jokes that made me laugh. I didn't expect such a good story, which helped me have a great evening. You can watch it with friends, alone or with family. It doesn't matter. Everything is good, but it seems to me, the movie could be made a little bit shorter, about 100 minutes. Anyway, totally recommended.

The Watchful Eye (2023)

Not so good, but I want to know, what will be next.

The Watchful Eye has an intriguing plot. The show gives us great promise of a really good experience. Unfortunately, irrational deeds of characters destroy magic. Sometimes, the action is even funny. Usually we choose one or more characters to be our favorite. We sympathize and empathize. But I didn't find such a person. Everybody has repulsive negative sides here. Anyway, I want to know, what will be next. I really liked Netflix's series Archive 81. Unluckily, it was cancelled after the first season. This movie has a similar atmosphere and it's wonderful. Sure, not so deep. The mystical part of the series compensates for stupid and empty dialogues. I hope to see more mystics in the next episodes. Howbeit, if The Watchful Eye gets a second season, it will be strange.

Shrinking (2023– )

It's interesting and boring at the same time.

I liked the show's idea, but the action in the series from time to time goes too slowly. Patients' problems seem a little bit exaggerated. I know, that psychological therapy can be useful and every person has a point, when therapy is needed. But here we can see, that patients don't even try to find the way out on their own. The main character, Jimmy, decided to give specific advice to his patients. They started to live determined. Anyway, in the beginning.

The audience sees that changes come when people give up useless conversations. So a simple decision helps Jimmy to correct his own life. Actors do their job, but the show still seems overdone. There isn't enough humor for comedy. There aren't enough deep reflections for drama. Boring. If you have something other to watch, leave Shrinking in reserve.

Your Place or Mine (2023)

World gets better with every movie like this.

Your Place or Mine is wonderful old style movie, where we can see nice mix of romantic and comedy. I believe in romcom, as Ted Lasso says. This picture has simple story, without big problems and extra details. I had a big pleasure to see great actor plays of Ashton Kutcher and Reese Witherspoon. They smile, joke, laugh and fall in love. Beautiful people make plans and go to their goals in beautiful country. That's great. They were really popular in similar movies in the 2000s and they were able to remind me about that nice time. Audience now days is different. They want to see more drama, more problems, more sex in every movie. Exactly because of this reason, Your Place or Mine gets low ratings. It's sad and I totally disagree. I gave 10 points to this perfect example of good romantic comedy. World gets better with every movie like this.

The Firm (1993)

Law is law. Always remember about it, because it can save your life.

After watching this movie, I got a great experience. I think, now days cinema's studios makes movies different. All old movies have their own style, own atmosphere. Today we can wait some project for a long time, a couple of years, then, finally, watch it for a 2.5 hours and understand in the end, that the film doesn't have any sense. Almost all old films have some sense, great or even small, but they are really interesting anyways. The Firm moreover based on the interesting novel by John Grisham.

It's a good story, which tells us, that law is law, and it can save you in dangerous situation. At least, sure, if you are in the USA. Don't forget about it, dear readers. I really like the play of Tom Cruise, he was very emotional. I like the dream about beautiful and rich life. I like the feelings of love by Mitch and Abby. I don't think, that it's movie one of the best old films, but it certainly deserves 8/10.

Bosch: Legacy (2022– )

Coolest detective ever!

It's awesome story, about professional ex policeman, who always does the right things. He always makes the right choice, even when it bad for how own. It was the main reason, why he left his job and started work as private detective. I like it. I like original show, but I didn't think, that I so like continue! Bosch: Legacy is even more coolest, action and interesting movie. We can see here best characters: Harry Bosch, his daughter Maddie, lawyer Honey Chandler and someone new. Harry is a real man. He is not afraid of anything and he is even ready to kill, protecting his family. TV show doesn't let down his predecessor. Series goes fast. You will not be disappointed. Actors play well. Picture is beautiful. I even like a new preview. It's a bit like a preview of the original. When I watch it, listen perfect music, I understand, that the hour of the spectacle show awaits me.

Ted Lasso (2020–2023)

Story about man, who always believes...

This TV show is not about soccer or rugby or football. It's about good, kind and clever person, who believes in better. Ted Lasso believes in people, he always sees good part of their souls, even if everybody else want to sees only evil. Ted believes in better future, even those moments, when his own personal life can be destroyed. Ted believes in victory, even in hardest moments, when other people disappointed and don't want to move next. Lasso believes in friendship, in wonders, in Santa Claus. He always founds right ways and positive vibes. Everybody, who watches this TV show, from first to last episode can find lessons of live. It's a real really awesome present for everybody. Ted Lasso help live, even everything is in chaos. Just watch and believe!

Reacher (2022– )

He speaks only when it necessary...

It's story about cool man, who has large list of great good deeds. After long way in US Army he just wanted live in peace. He travels through country without things and huge money. But troubles always found such people, like Reacher. Murder is happened, when Jack was nearby in a little quiet town. Police decided arrest him. Sure, it was mistake. City is full of corruption. Now only Reacher can help to find killer. First half of show seems boring. We don't see any action. But than situation changed. In the end of season I was upset, because I want continue! Too many shows with little rating come on screens every day, but Reacher isn't one of them. It has action, enough good jokes and not so much drama. Main actors are beautiful and they play well. Totally recommended. You will not rewatch it, but for one time it's absolutely good.
