One Way Out (2002 Video)
Medium TV entertainment for a modest product
20 September 2003
One Way Out, the new James Belushi movie is a direct to the video flick and it's developed and conceive such as common product nothing to more. The story of the Detective Harry Woltz and his double life between murders and night club can be much more interesting and good writer, with more intelligence, threatening expression and human evil. Also the leading role is too low and normally good for be believable and fascinating. The movie starting low with stereotyped characters, then grow up with more suspense, good facts and tension till to the end when all the good thinks fall in a sugary and foolish love story. James Belushi is good but too old for this charming and fine role, much better when he do the sympathy scoundrel as in `Made Men' or the totally obscure police man of `Gang Related'. Nothing to very bad, the movie leave it till to end, but good only for the video or TV movie. My rate is 5.

Unforgettable Palermo
22 August 2003
The Director Francesco Rosi have sign this extraordinary documentary-reporting on the Italian Mob and his relation towards the U.S.A and the Palermo beauty. Rosi is a very good artist, every of his work is extremely real and passionate, he narrate the story and the origin of `his' Palermo with such ability and the that he totally rape you, also if the story is inspired by a book how in this case. Carmine Bonavia is a candidate for a Major of New York with clear Sicilian origin that for grow up in the soundings declared he favorable on the drugs legalization. During his trip wedding through the Palermo city he is beginning to think that maybe this operation can truly `make a difference' for the people, but `they' aren't agree on this question...'Dimenticare Palermo is very interesting for many reasons: 1)the actuality of the arguments treated;2)for knows better the marvels of this country;3)for the intense and dynamic play of James Belushi in the leading character, maybe on the top of his career and all of the rest cast many of them Italian and all very good. The story cleared the relation between Mob and Politic and maybe the line that divided Goods and Evils is so thin that it's almost inexistent, where a man that would truly `make the different' can't do nothing cause the system is too great, dirty and corrupted for him. James Belushi is great in the powerful and energy role of Carmine Bonavia and during the developed of the story is truly touching his glance to a man blocked and set impotent but not still defeated. My rate is 8.

`Taking Care The Absolutely Funny !!!'
26 April 2003
Funny, funny, funny and funny! This is the only word to define this lively comedy starring to James Belushi and Charles Grodin and directed by a master as Arthur Hiller. The pasted 80's were the best years for the American comedy, started to the later John Belushi till to the Chevy Chase's `Flecht' came to the Bill Murray and Dan Aykroyd `Ghostbusters' the entertainment industry had generated a great lot to funny comedy, that it's true many funny movie are do still now, but the elegance and intelligence in the old movies are insuperable and unequalled. `Taking Care A Business is a comedy that it's do in the early 90's but it include all the 80's funny spirit thanks to a fast script and a professional directed to Arthur Hiller, but also thanks to the two leading players Belushi and Grodin two great comedians and also two great actors(You can see them in many drama movie). Belushi is surprising in his naturalness and expressiveness, he succeeded to give at his character a reality dimension where it's very believed his carefreeness and his `live a day at the time'. Grodin is very funny and professional in the measured and unlucky business man. The story is easy and simple in fact it's based to the classical Hollywood theme `the guy changed'. A rich business man Spencer Burns, lost his precious note-book where there all his life during a business travel, and this note-book is found to a likely jail man Jimmy Dworsky (Belushi) that he's escaped for see the baseball macht of his favourite league. Naturally the lucky fugitive take the place to the Spencer. You can not consider this movie as a great movie or a social flick with many reflection, but you must see the movie only for that's it's, a long and crackling unity to funny and laugher. And if I see under this aspect I give to the movie a good 8 to rate.

Rushmore (1998)
Refined crossing between melancholy and fine humorous
12 April 2003
Wes Anderson is the director in this wonderful comedy where are mixed blue times and funny times all nicer manufactured. Max Fisher(Jason Schwartzman) attend the Rushmore school, a exclusive school only for rich people and he is the only barber's son poor that attend the school because he won a scholarship. He do many activity out of the school but in the study he is very low. One day he meets Miss Rosemary Cross a thirty years old teacher in the school and he falls in love desperately as his friend and mentor the unhappy millionaire Mr Herman J. Bloom. And here began the trouble…. Many aspects in the movie are too nice for to be descript with the words, all the feelings that the movie transmit are very real and fine so that you can feel its as you to be in the story. The actors are very good , the leading character that is played by Schwartzman is believed and arrogant but in the end human, but the best of the brunch is Bill Murray in the character of the unhappy millionaire that confirm his talent and his inclination for the drama roles. At Murray is enough only a look for express the empty and hungry of the character and demonstrate a potential recitative out the ordinary. And served for understand we that maybe the success and the money not do the happiness and when we do everything for going versus the fames and the social affirmation maybe it's not so good as we believed. This is pure cinema, that generated poetry and human feelings, where the easy effect is put a part for do space at the actors players and the happiness search. In these years dominated by the blockbuster movie that the only fine is do money, flicks as this are appreciable and applauded. My rate is 9.

Analyze That' and then `Laughter This' on .
6 April 2003
Analyze That', the sequel of the fortunate movie `Analyze This' starring to Billy Crystal and Robert DeNiro and directed by Harold Ramis, narrate the continue to the therapy psychiatric between the doctor Crystal and the con DeNiro. Now the boss is forced to feign the cataleptic state for going away to the jail because someone try to killed he. But he is free only under the custody of his old psychiatrist. Based to this story the movie generate a long series of gags truly funny, specially in the first part also thanks to the good alchemy between the two lead actors. But after during the developed to the plot, the story lost his rhythm and also the funny are become little low. Anyway good amusing for everyone. My rate is 6.

Deep immersion in the terrific empty life
6 April 2003
Adam Sandler , likely shammed actor and king of the blockbuster flick is the star to this complex and tormented dark- romantic- comedy. Yes, you have read good, dark-romantic-comedy, maybe can seems strange and unusual but it's just so. The leading character, Barry Egan(Sandler), a little entrepreneur oppressed by 7 sisters and stressed to his work and afterwards he have serious anger attack, he is menaced by a mysterious blackmailer because for mitigate his solitude he had call a erotic number. One way out, a liberator trip away on the Hawaii with a beautiful girl named Lena Leonard(a nice Emily Watson). During the story you can see all the human frustration, the pressure that own engagement subject we, the external life symbolized with menacing sounds and that you must have only the lucky to find something for exit out and all the negative aspect disappear(but you not understand very well if it's a lucky or something to high that deceive this positive change). All in this movie have a meaning, nothing is give to the case, the harmonium that Barry find the same day when he meets Lena as the way where vent the frustration, the Barry's office where the only way for communication is the homonymous telephone, his dress, his anger attack, his fear for the streets out his office…… Who define `Punch-Drunk Love' only a comedy do a big wrong, maybe for do see the movie to the Sandler's fan but the feeling that the movie generated is a deeply anguish and alienation from the `ordinary' world. The director P.T. Anderson is a real wiz with the cine-camera, with the only it use he succeed to create a adrenaline tension worthy to best thriller movie without nothing action in the story. The Barry's life is empty to good things and full to bad things, and this situation stop every of his feeling till to make impotent to a external attack, also caused by his goodness and ingenuousness. Adam Sandler give the best performance of his career till to now, he succeed to transformed his usual character in a tormented and extremely real man with a deeply feeling out the ordinary. Before to see this movie I wasn't a Sandler's fan, but now I'm ready to give at least one possibility to movies as `Happy Gilmore', `BIG DADDY' or `LITTLE NICKY' because his players is very good also if the story is goofy. My rate is 9.

Enjoyable but superficial money's mania satire.
6 April 2003
Ben Stiller and George Carlin are the stars in this nice comedy that try to funny with the success run's of the men. A young finance genius assume on to a Stock Exchange company but only as cleaning man and with a old colleague began to play in it thanks to few information that they found in the sweepings for pay the gambling debt to the old man. He found money, love and success. Laughter and care freeness are the leadings element in this TV comedy, that I must say it's very good also that it's only a TV movie. Maybe with a best developed of the story and a major deeper the final product was more believable and interesting but the two leading character anyway are likely and funny, in particular Ben Stiller in the beginning is very and already demonstrate his talent. For a care freeness evening and for see a young Ben Stiller in a role that if not have the freshness and the humorous of his new product is anyway appreciable. My rate is 6.

The old Tom Hanks comedy style
6 April 2003
There was a period when Hanks still isn't a great Hollywood star, but he was only a likely player of fresh comedy. This is the case of `The man with one red shoe', remake to a French flick, where two big C.I.A. heads, against between them , involved a calm violinist in their fight for the power. It's true, the movie can seem goofy and his humour is coarse and vulgar, but it's funny. I had ever admiring Hanks, even in this kind of comedy, I believe that he is likely and funny and also if the story isn't the high intelligence anyway it's a good entertainment supported by a good cast, Charles Durning and Dabney Coleman as the two C.I.A. heads, Tom Hanks as the violinist, James Belushi and Carrie Fisher as a young couple violinist's friend. My rate is 6.

The Sunshine Boys (I) (1975)

Melancholy and twilight reflection on the shortness life
6 April 2003
The Neil Simon's Sunshine Boys starring Walter Matthau and George Burns is a funny comedy on the strange bond to the life and its shortness, but the laughter always bitter taste. Seeing Willy Clark(Matthau) and Al Lewis(Burns) two big theatrical comedy actors now reduced on the imbecility from the hard and unceasing old age you can feel only anger and blue. Willy not ever surrender and continue to look work, while Al is tired for players and he is retired to the country in the house to his daughter. The couple in his old time was truly funny and harmony, but out the scene was a continue squabble and to quarrel, and for eleven years after their broken they not talk between. Now if they would work, they must return together another time for do one of his best old sketch for a comedy story TV show. The meets is explosive and liberating for the old questions…. The Neil Simon's screenplay give a certain corrosive spirit to the story and the melancholy and blue overwhelming the many gags and laughter succeeded to generate a good mix also thanks to a great couple Walter Matthu(Nomination Academy Award as Best Actor) and George Burns(Won the Academy Award as Best Support Actor). The two actors are very believable and real and the their harmony seems almost as they real work together for all that time and that realty they not bear between them. The movie is very touching also for its all consuming reality as the story is narrate and how the report Love-Heat that bind the two actors is totally real part to the strange but at the same time ordinarily comprehensible things to the life. My rate is 7.

The fickleness Walter Matthau in a amazing 3 players accompany the original touch by Neil Simon.
6 April 2003
Neil Simon possess a gift, he succeeded to dig in the human relationship and go out all the negative the fears, the wrongs and the frustration with the laughter and the funny but all of this whole of blue. It's Blue because his characters are aware to own wrong but at the same time are condemned and all things that they do is useless and worst because this is their nature. The flick narrate 3 tales acclimatized in a Plaza Suite, all the action is concentrated in this room and so all the goodness is addressed on the leading players a wonderful Matthau that play all of 3 characters for the stories. In the first a wife discovered the betrayal of the husband in their 23rd anniversary, in the second a famous Hollywood producer try to seduce one his ex-girlfriend to youngness years, now happiness married, and in the end the problem of a surly couple in the wedding-day of the un-security daughter. Many laughter but each of these with the better retro-taste and melancholy, the three characters compared themselves with own wrong, deny its, scream, fighting but continued in the same wrong. In the end all the things going as must going to damage of the their actions but in every end solutions there is something to good tuck known take you. Wonderful actor trial for Walter Matthau, the cinema world had lost many in his dead, he is a complete actor able to through the mimic facial a express many feelings and players each kind of flick. My rate is 8.

Orange County (2002)
Entertainment and teen agitation on the California Orange County beach.
16 March 2003
`Orange County' is funny comedy flick starring to the star born Colin Hanks, the Tom Hank's son and Schuyler Fisk, the Sissy Spacek's daughter. Good couple of art's son and in fact they give a good performance in this classic teen-agers movie but with something to more( but Colin not possess the same fascination to the Father), the movie mixed very comedy and a little bit of drama, that it's the based of the story. Shaun is a surf- guy that live in Orange County and pass his day between the school and the beach, but his greatest wish is going away to the Stanford University at the end of the Secondary School, where teach his favourite writer, for escape to his unhappy realty: the Mother is a divorce alcoholic, the Father a egoist business man and the brother is a drug fun. But is not easy going away to Orange County…. All of this in comic key, but without forget that in deeper the imperfection is life's part. Great formation of supporting actors, John Lightow in the Father's role, Catherine O'hara as the Mother, and the more funny of the brunch Jack Black as the toxic Brother, and many special appearance: Chevy Chase, Kevin Kline. Harold Ramis, Lily Tomlin and Ben Stiller. Laughter and amusing for everyone. My rate is 6.

Interesting gallery of the human suffering
16 March 2003
Interesting gallery of the human suffering `The Royal Tenenbaum' can seems a comedy, but through the characters you can see all the pain provoke by the life. Even the movie narrate the story of a noble family, where the three sons are a baby genius, so seems that the life is more easy and beautiful, but doesn't so. The father, Royal, is a egoist and cynical play boy that leave the family for running his vices, the sons grow up and retinue to various disappointments have lost all of his quality and safety. Many years later Royal would back to home because he is heavily sick and ready to die. Nobody of his familiars would believed he, but it's true? At first sight the movie start as a comedy of the high society, for the serious also the rich cry, but during the developed it's ever more clear the impossibility of the happiness, and how it's true this better feeling. The movie put extraordinary people in ordinary trouble and understand we that the life is hard for all, and above all the money not do the happiness, and that the people going accept for who are without think too them bad quality, but exalting them quality. Wes Anderson, the director is one of the most original filmmaker and his way to see the life is touched and laughter at the same time and the laughter is ever better and reflective, but all of above the choice of the players is extremely hit on , each of them are excellent. In the leading role of the Royal we found Gene Hackman in great shape as a adorable rascal and rightly winners to the `Golden Globe', while in the character of his sons there are Ben Stiller as the finance genius, that had to little time lost his wife, Gwyneth Paltrow as the adoptive daughter comedy-writer married unhappily with the psychology Relaight S. Clair(Bill murray that inspired the character on the Business Man that in play in `Rushmore', but with less efficacy) and Luke Wilson as the sporting promises of the Tennis, desperately fall in love to his adoptive sister, eventually Owen Wilson as the complex neighbour. Each of them masterly manner by the `genius' Wes Anderson. My rate is 9.

Ordinary thriller with a out of ordinary adrenalin rhythm.
16 March 2003
What's happen if you can go back to the time for try to correct your wrong? This is the question where this movie based his plot, that started for give the answer but then slide to the pure action generated to a thriller idea. A psychiatric found the way to back in the past for avoid a massacre caused by a brutal Texan guy provoked by his wife, and remedy her mistake. Reading the plot's movie can't see a original story, because the time's travel is already used for many flick , but never in this way till to the story involve in car chase, gun fire and pursuit. Ok, many movie are based on this formula and the developed is easy and standard, but the director Louis Morneau show a certain mastery with the cine-camera, and the adrenalin that his action scenes generated is very good and high respect most action movies, his jumped way to use the camera high the tension till to the amazing. The lead character of the maniac Frank Lloyd is played to ever good James Belushi, that twisting his likely and coarse character of his beginner for show the worse late where the funny become aggressiveness and his beating is the mirror of his arrogance and ignorance till to prevail the madness. Belushi is very natural in this role and he give a wonderful performance, while the good character is player by Kylie Travis as the psychiatrist cop Karen Warren enough credible the role but her excess use to the movement for express his feeling penalize the player that can be a good player. Anyway for the people that wait a reflective and engaged work, this movie doesn't for you all of this is based to the action, but for anyone would spend 87 minutes with funny and exciting feeling, without too thinks. My rate is 6.

Celtic Pride (1996)
6/10
Pure funny in this witty comic movie.
12 March 2003
Sometime we need to a movie where the only object is spend 90 minutes in totally unengagement and funny. This is the case of `Celtic Pride' a movie purely comic, where the laughter have a principal character in that. The story is that two friends Mike(Daniel Stern) and Jimmy(Dan Aykroyd) fans of the league Boston Celtic abduct a players of the against league for allow of them Boston the victory. All of that accompany a electric lyric `Play the Funky music' and a lot of laughter and hilarious also thanks to two great comedy actors : Stern and Aykroyd that succeeded to create a wonderful odd couple with a harmony truly surprising and funny, but two professional comic actors this is that who wait you, complete the cast a justly arrogant and disagreeable Damon Waynes in the character of the basketball players abducted. For all people that want laughter without thinks. My rate is 6.

From a funny sketch a good comedy but with a slow rhythm
12 March 2003
Dan Aykroyd is a great author, he give his best not when he is only a actor, but when he had the full power in the movie( Screenplay, producers. . . ). In this comedy the entire project it's his , in fact the story of two aliens going from away space for conquest the earth but a spoilt constrict them a long adaptation stay on own planet is very funny and hilarious, if you think that the movie is based on a old `Saturday Night Live', you can understand the arrogance and the provocation that it contain( a little limited, but efficacious). The gags are very hysterical and funny, the characters are enough strange for laughter, but the story is not very developed and it seems almost a pretext for to stage a serious of sketch. There are many special appearance to the new stars of the `Saturday Night Live' as Chris Farley, David Spade, Adam Sandler, and the old but always funny Jon Lovitz. Indeed very funny and a good satire of the American lifestyle, where the strangers are more `normal' of the local. My rate is 6.

: Intelligent satire on the America's life and outside politic
9 March 2003
The actuality of the story of `Canadian Bacon' is terrifying, even the movie is to 1995 it seems almost prophesy the event to this years. End of the `cool war', many weapon workshop are closed and this provoke unemployment and dissatisfied, but one more thing the falls of popularity of the president to the United States. So he decided to create a new enemy : the Canada! But a Sheriff too gullible (played to the great John Candy) risk to spoiling all. Naturally, all of this with many humor and provocation for the absurd power play to the American politics. The movie is a good example of when the laughter dissolve in bitter and true reflections, and it understand we that nothing is that seem in this world dominated to the TV, and each men can twist the truth in to his interests. Truly good the director and the actors with at head a hysterical John Candy in a character usual for him but ever funny and good , and Alan Alda as the president of the United States so caricatural to be irresistible. In the movie there are few special appearance as Dan Aykroyd in a character to a Canadian cop (his duet with Candy is one on the most funny moment in the movie), and James Belushi as a reporter for the television channel NBS in a brief but particular role. The director of the movie is Michael Moore, that ultimately had directed the documentary `Bowling for a Columbine ` another accusation act of the TV power and few American behaviour. My rate is 8.

K-9: P.I. (2002 Video)

Enough funny, but totally unnecessary
7 March 2003
K9(1989) directed by Rod Daniel was a good movie, where a hard Miami cop coupled with a strange dog. The movie was supported from an exciting screenplay and the mix between action and comedy stay high all the time thanks to a great James Belushi in the lead role. After 14 years there are two sequel for the original movie: K9:11(1999) and this K9:P.I.(2002). Both of them useless, because every good points of the movie is lost, even the argument between the cop and his dog, that in the first movie were very hilarious and funny , are off and without energy. The story is totally absent, all of the movie based to the gags between the cop and the dog , that its are funny but too little for do the entirely movie on this. Because in this years the story of the dog cop have been exploit in every of his aspect and now is relegated for SitCom, TV series or actors beginners, not for a professional as James Belushi . In this new adventure the cop Dooley and his dog partner is ready to the retire, but they are involved in a case of steal a microchips, and till to the guilty going to discover the retired is frozen. The plot is totally undeveloped and it stay only a idea for all the movie, Belushi is off, but he heave not materials to work, and he seems only a caricature to the fascinating cop on first `K9'.Belushi is a great actor, his character in movies as `The Principal', `Dimenticare Palermo' or in comedy as `Taking care a business' and the nostalgic `Mr Destiny' were the work of a professional and good actor, but it's a real sin that you see spoiling this talent in this sequel for the video. Ultimately Belushi is relegated to the TV and video production, but I think that he heave the quality for back on the cinema, I hope that some good director succeeded to emphasize. Now Belushi is on the set to the movie `Easy Six', a independent production directed by Chris Iovenko where he play the role of Elvis Presley. It seem a good return, I good hope.

I Spy (2002)
6/10
One of the best Murphy's movie to the later years
4 March 2003
Eddie Murphy isn't a great actor, his characters are stereotyped and each of his roles seems equal to himself, but he got a funny and likely personality out the ordinary, because in each of his movie the laughter are safe, and specially if he is served to a good story and directory. Unfortunately the latest movies were based only on his comic verve, but. for `I SPY' isn't so. The movie is inspired by to the old series of the ‘ 70 with Bill Cosby and Robert Culp(only inspired, also the roles are reverse). The story is enough to get to know, but efficacious : the `odd couple' forced to stay together and in the end become inseparable . Here the our two heroes must recover a super airplane steal by a con of Budapest, where the boxer champion of the world(Murphy) go for a match, and in his staff there the spy undercover charged to the mission(A good Owen Wilson). Useless to say that the two men are many clash between them and his comparison is very hilarious. Anyway the story is good constructed and there is a chase absolutely irresistible and funny, where it remember you the old Murphy's movie such as `48 hours' .Few surprise on the end liveliness the story also to more(but its are a little foreseeable), and Eddie Murphy is too funny (as I had already say)in couple to his co-star Owen Wilson( also he very funny and good), that we had the pleasured to saw him in movie as `Meets the parents', `The Royal Tenenbaum' and that soon we see in the movie inspired by the TV serious of `Starsky and Hutch' in couple to his friend Ben Stiller. My rate is 6.

Gang Related (1997)
8/10
The dark side of the law.
2 March 2003
Gang Related starring by James Belushi and the late Tupac Shakur is a good example when the badge is used for hide own crime. The entirely story of the movie started when two corrupt cop killed for mistake a under cover agent of the DEA . The day after their Head gives the case of the murder at them, because nobody suspect of them. And here starting the nightmare…..The movie is very good to generate a high level of tension only with the story(also if in the plot there are few holes), and the twist of the facts narrate and interlace between of its succeed to passionate the spectator till to the wonderful end. The two actors , Belushi and Shakur are very good and believed in the lead roles. Belushi succeed to give a certain restlessness on his usual funny character and when his crime side is discovered , the terror cancelled his liking. Shakur is interesting in the charactering his conscientious cop lost in his blames, and the couple is harmony for to be them first work together . Only point negative of the movie going when the twists of the plot grow up too and born few incongruousness, but all of the rest is a good work and specially the playing. My rate is 8.

Sommary : How do Dan Aykroyd to fall so low?
18 February 2003
I saw the movie `Crossroads'only because I'm a fan of Dan Aykroyd, and generally I follow him on each of his work. But for this character I don't know the sense.Aykroyd is a good actor, with a certain professionality , but in this movie everything is goofy and is professionality is spoiling, for say not ridiculed. The story of the movie is the more stereotyped of the century : 3 girlfriends do a trip where they discovered the sense of the life and the real friendship. All of this deeply plunge on the rhetoric and sugared. Britney Spears is simply ridiculous she not play, but she smile for all the time of the movie. I hope that Aykroyd not continue for other movie on this line.

A whole a skecht without soul
18 February 2003
This movie narrate the story of John Belushi, based of his biography `Wired' , wrote by Bob Woodward. All of movie is narrate on flashback without a chronological order , where after the death of John Belushi we see one angel accompany Belushi during few points of his life.Michael Chicklis in the character of John Belushi is enough credible , but entirely devoid of the devastate force of Belushi ,and his play stay only a pale animation. The director,on more, not succeed to give continuate on the story , that for who not knows the book is very confused. But the worse is that they have featured Bob Woodward that spoke with Belushi before he died. For this negative points the movie is only a would-be attempt to narrate the controversial story of John Belushi. My rate is 4.

A routine thriller movie with something to more
9 February 2003
If i must give a rate for this movie,i give it a 5,a good thriller of medium level, nothing to less, the only thing that give that something to more to the standard thriller movie is the favolous play to Robin Williams. The movie offers, after a slow first half ,a second half full of tension ,where it's groove up till a revelation end.Another point to demerit is the cause for the troubled psychology to a leading characters, that it's used for the most thriller movie direct to a video or for the TV :the character has been victim a children's trauma. They can find something more original! But the similitude used in the moviebis great,it's enough to say that for characterize the empty life of the character all of his dress, his house.his work are white or grey aqnd the nightmare where he dream that he is deeply immerse in a empty store all colored to white is very disquieting.Anyway, watch it!

The movie narrate the true story of Jerry Stahl,a Hollywood tv writer slave of heroin, but not because he would "unpack",but for stop to feeling bad.At first sight Jerry Stahl seems a normal gay guy ,but if you looking better you can see a dark shadow in his personality , a dark shadow where grow up his ghost's pain, that it change in destruction of himself.A pain in appearence inexplicable, but always present.Ben Stiller is very good in the character of Jerry Stahl, and his decline phisical and psychic is worthy to biggest drama hollywood actors.I admite Stiller, but he is remember from a pubblic only for less movie,as "There's something about Mary",that it's not a bad movie, but neither a deeply movie as "Permanent Midnight".This story may report to the story of John Belushi, but the movie that it narrate"Wired" not is very succesful. My rate is 7.

Sahara (1995 TV Movie)
Good Homage to the Zoltan's Korda "Sahara" of 1943
20 January 2003
This movie is the remake of the flick of 1943 "Sahara", and as the original the title is the same. The story is focalized on a group of men(various nationality)lost in the sahara desert during the second world war and their fightversus 500 german soldiers. At lead of the Allies we found James Belushi, and here is very slim and brawny respect his usual aspect. On his characterize of the Sgt Joe Gunn is very credible, sow we also the humorous side of the character, whitout forgive the hardness necessary. The rest of cast is totally unknown, but good, and each of them has a good character on that work. The action is good,as the desolate scenography. The only bad thing of the movie is that the second part start to cross on the unreal and unlikely, transformed the Allies in a group of simil-Rambo spoiling the good work that it's do until to now.My rate is 6.Recommended.

The Principal (1987)
9/10
Powerful and dynamic character for a great James Belushi
28 October 2002
The energy that the movie pramolgate is infinity. After that you see "The Principal" you feel a great sense of revolution to your problem. In your mind the disharge of adrenalin is too hard that seems a thunder, but also if you can't fallow this feeling,it's anyway a good sensation for realize you that in life the bestest thing that you can do it's fight till to end.the actors are superb:James Belushi in the character of hungry Principal is in one of his best performance, nothing else can do this role so conviction, becausealso in the real life Belushi is "Rick Latimer".Louis Grosset jr.is very good and Rae down Chong convictedme in this character.
