Bones: The Goop on the Girl (2009)
Season 5, Episode 10
10/10
Iconic episode
19 November 2022
First we start off with max wanting to spend Christmas with bones and we get to see the evolution of Bones spending time with her family and friends. She finally can understand the reason why people love Christmas so much, "it means people love you". When Santa gets blown up the part where the eye is obliterated is so cringey I love it. Hodgins magnetized gloves is great we see his absolute crazy love for his work again and again. Booths suprise face when bones starts taking off his clothes makes this episode that iconic and him reviewing saints it too funny. The "I'm highly evolved" comment made whne Hodgins asks where's your chest hair is the main thing that sticks out to me every time I rewatch this episode.

Such a good episode!

Love the spin on of a documentary for bones. It gives a more personal touch to the characters. Similar feel to The office. Also love when Cam says "not a snowballs chance in hell" which could be an easter egg to Aubrey being in Suits and Lous Litt saying that line "not a snowballs chance in hell" all the time, it was his signature catchphrase. Loved the Mayer between B&B taking about who is more important in the case. I am definitely on Brennens side that she contributes more to the case, she is the science which in most cases leads to the case wing solved. Cam asking Arastoo to marry her is a great ending that all bones fans has been waiting for. Another amazing slow burn love story.
