Strive (2019)
Great movie. How is it I am the first to write a review??
This really is a great inspirational movie when the odds are stacked against you. The acting from all the cast is of a very high standard, especially from the main actor Joi Starr. I am personally at a time in my life where I am moving in a new direction of career change and study at college and going through a very difficult time of dealing with some health challenges, and it would be so easy to just give up on my studies and say, what the heck. But this movie has inspired me to continue on. I am still dealing with the health issues, which hopefully will come right soon. Thank you to the independent filmmaker for making this film.

WOW ... a film that really touches the heart
I was nearly going to give this movie a miss because of the lack of reviews and zero comments. I have watched many gay-themed love films and this one really touches the heart in a way that communicates what it means to fight for love and the importance of love. Set against the backdrop of societal pressures for a man to marry only a woman and the intense pressures parents face from society in only accepting such a match, this films teaches both parents and those in love in gay relationships how to put the happiness of the individual first. You won't be disappointed in watching this film and for those with a romantic streak, it is a real tear-jerker. Well done.

An epic masterpiece!
This film has it all. Brilliant story, great acting, very moving score, and very powerful lessons on humanity, including what it entails to form a new way of life and holding onto what it means to want to survive in a new, post-apocalyptic world order. I had never heard of this film before, and was glad to have found the long uncut 156 minute version on Youtube. The movie almost has a James Bond feel to it, and the production quality is of the same high standard. The casting of each character was perfect, with each delivering an emotion-driven tour-de-force. I have seen many apocalyptic movies, and in my opinion this one is by far the best. A must see. 10/10.

Superb soundtrack, suspense and solid acting ...
I really liked this movie. The plot was great and the movie really draws you in. I can see why the main actor was so emotionally distraught in his adult life because of the psychological trauma he suffered as a child. Fantastic soundtrack and the cinematography was also really well done. I saw this movie on Youtube and the reviews are off the charts (highly glowing). I compared their reviews with those written here, which seem to more negative. This is a very intelligent sci-fi film with high quality production values. The chief female villain was the only miscast character of the film, but I was able to look past this as her role was relatively minor. 10/10.
