Curse of Aurore (2020)
Terrible acting
The only thing worse than listening to a drunk/high person talk is listening to someone PRETENDING to be drunk/high. That's like, half of this movie.
The other half is someone asking about the camera.
"Are you filming?"
"Why are you filming"
"We need to film"
...etc.
Frágiles (2005)
You're just going to watch the damn thing anyway
I've never wanted to punch aa movie before.
I always watch crappy horror movies, not caring how many bad reviews it gets.
If after the first 30 minutes you start to think the movie is terrible, give up. It doesn't get better.
Urge (2016)
No one could possibly like this movie's end (no spoilers)
I was honestly enjoying this movie. It was stupid, but in a fun way. It wasn't anything to serious, just movie about 20-somehing year old getting high on what was basically Ecstasy.
The only problem I had during the movie was that the acting was TERRIBLE. It was weird because there were actors in it that I've enjoyed in other things, so I know they have the ability to act well. My guess is that no one was really taking the movie seriously , which is probably was made the movie as fun as it was. I imagine the set was just a bunch of actors screwing around,
But then Mr. Ending comes along and ruins the entire movie. It just STOPS. Anyone who says they like the ending is lying or just really really stupid. There's nothing to like. I don't understand why movies insist on using endings like that.
Do people actually LIKE those endings? I've never watched a movie and thought to myself "I really hope this abruptly stops and there's no closure."
Two Wrongs (2015)
Everyone in this movie should be set on fire
Alright, let's see:
1) The girl has no idea how to jump rope or walk without skipping like an epileptic
2) The movie's budget apparently couldn't cover the cost of a new bottle of Sunny Delight
3) The kidnapper's super solid kidnapping plan was apparently to keep a sleeping child in a basement forever by feeding her small sips of drugged Sunny Delight
4) There needed to be an epilogue expelling that the misunderstood kidnapper with the heart of gold was sentenced to 15 years of colon-widening showers. The insane wife chewed through her restrains and killed a bunch of people
5) I'll end on a high note by mentioning the spellbinding performance of the OTHER kidnapper with the heart of gold who ran into the river where he immediately drown without saying or doing anything.
Dark Summer (2015)
The amount of swearing required to accurately describe how bad this movie is would break the internet
I love horror/thriller movies. It isn't an exaggeration to say 90% of what I watch falls into that category. The other 10% is porn.
It takes very little to make me happy when it comes to these smaller independent type movies. It isn't even so much the movie that I enjoy watching. It's the fun of looking for those hidden gems. Sure, it can suck watching a movie that's terrible, but it's worth the risk because you might find that movie that's so good your sack shrivels up like a prune.
So even if the movie is terrible, I still enjoy it because it's all a part of the hunt.
Dark Summer, however, was garbage. Boring, no plot, bad acting. Just crap. I didn't even know the names of the characters. There was no explanation of what was going on or why. There was just a super-dooper scary ghost with a super-dooper scary hoodie. Ooooooooooo....
It was about an hour in when my pupils constricted and my body put me in a coma. When I finally woke up 4 days later I discovered that I had eaten the fingers off my left hand. There is also a large blood stain on the crotch of my pants but I'm to afraid to check what's causing it.
