Terrorister - En film om dom dömda (2003)
The Gothenburg riots - The communist version
This is an awful movie. They take criminals and thugs who uses violence and they throw rocks at the police. But instead of being looked upon as criminals and thieves. The video maker tries to make freedom heroes out of a bunch of young and naive kids whom read the communist manifesto. This is nothing but a communist propaganda movie. The message is clear, violence is good as long as it comes from this disenfranchised youth. Despite they live in Sweden and have all the money and time in the world to make something of their lives instead they are influenced by this retard propaganda. The kids hero is this guy who throws rocks at the police and he gets shot in the back? How can throwing rocks at policemen be a good act? No the policemen aren't' humans in this documentary, they are just a force of evil, protectors of a capitalist society. This is a documentary about bratty kids that blame the elite for all their faults and they use violence to get their points across. Shameful.
Life (2017)
Seen it before.
This is another alien replica, it looks and feels like an alien movie and the alien itself even looks like the one from the Alien franchise. The acting is decent, but Rebecca Ferguson does a fine job. The script is at times dumb and political correct. but what to expect when the director is Swedish.
For example when they talk about the syria crisis or when the astronauts acts like uneducated teenagers. Like they hadn't prepared at all before going into space. That enfuriates me or when they feel the need to explain that humanity hadn't found life in space before. Like the viewer is dumb enough to not understand that before going into the movie. I really dislike when the creators of the movie think that the audience of the same movie are retards. But the movie ain't a big long propaganda fest of political correctness, despite a few outlandish dumb decisions from the astronauts the movie picks up some pace and the good ending saves to movie from a total disaster. It's also so many similarities with the original two Alien movies,, so we've seen this before but done much better. There has been a lot of space movies lately and this one is somewhere in the middle if you ask me. Arrival still is my favourite from the last couple of space and alien movies.
The movie steps up towards the end and when it is all over it becomes a pretty decent sci-fi movie after a real shaky start.
John Wick: Chapter 2 (2017)
Stiff old man slaughter-fest
A non existing story line, Bad acting, stiff fighting scenes for two hours. Yes this movie got it all. I saw the original John Wick and thought it was pretty brain-dead but this takes it up a notch, your intelligence needs to be below 80 to truly enjoy this movie. This is for dumb teenagers who needs bad cgi to like a movie. This movie is for people who had a hard time understanding Fast and the Furious movies. People who thought that story line was too hard to follow. Hollywood has actually managed to dumb down a movie to a new record low. If it's violence you want why don't you just surf clips on YouTube instead? John Wick 2 has a a story line that remind me of a porno without the nudity. It' just people flying in the air in different positions.
Keanu Reaves is one of Hollywood's worst actors, he had some success with Speed and The Matrix movies but the guy is really one of the worst actors of our time and it is all on display here, the dry dumbed down one liners and people flying and being shot in the face one after another.
Why should one care about this movie? It's total brain dead and highly meaningless action. This might be the worst movie I've seen in years, despite having an insanely high rating here on IMDb.
The highlight of the movie is actually John Wick's dog, the best actor in the whole movie unfortunately. The acting is terrible and there is no progression of the characters. They are all dumb murderers and even if John Wick faces tons of hired killers in this movie, he kills them one after another while the viewer tries not to fall asleep.
The worst movie I've seen since Godzilla.
Young Guns (1988)
Regulators... Mount Up!
The movie is (loosely) based on Billy the Kid's adventures during the Lincoln County War, that took place in 1877-1878. The movie has this brat pack feeling to it. filled with fast action scenes and snappy one liners.
The brat pack of gunmen consists of Billy the Kid (Emilio Estevez), Dick Brewer (Charlie Sheen), Dirty Steve (Dermot Mulroney), Doc Scurlock (Kiefer Sutherland), Chavez y Chavez (Lou Diamond Phillips) and Charley Bowdre (Casey Siemaszko). These young men are a bunch of misfits and gunmen that are gathered under the guidance of English cattle rancher John Tunstall (Terence Stamp). They work and protect his ranch and economic interests and John Tunstall gives the young gunmen food, shelter and an education in return.
The movies main villain is the Irishman Lawrence G. Murphy (played by western movie veteran Jack Palance), whom also is a rancher and merchant and the natural rival to John Tunstall. The rivalry goes bad and John Tunstall is murdered and the movie turns into a tale of revenge. Billy the Kid's gang is deputised after meeting lawyer Alexander McSween (Terry O'Quinn). They were young and inexperienced but they were the only men with guts enough to challenge the terror of Lawrence Murphy, whom had a huge gang following him. The young gunmen takes on the name The Regulators as they ride out to arrest some of the murderers in Murhpy's gang. But hot-headed Billy wants instant justice and starts to murder his enemies and the Regulators are stripped of their badges. Despite becoming outlaws the Regulators keep hunting down Murphy's men while bounty hunters and law men are closing in on them.
The movie is filled with cool and creative shooting scenes, the dialogue is fast and saucy and often really memorable. The movie has a fast pace and there if the movie had been directed by Peter Jackson it would have been 3 times 3 hours long. Young Guns is more fun than your old John Wayne / Clint Eastwood movies. Funny fact is that: Pat Garrett is played by John Wayne's son Patrick Wayne.
The cast is brilliant and Kiefer Sutherland, Lou Diamond Phillips, Jack Palance and Emilio Estevez does some of their best work of their careers. The movie doesn't go deep and rarely scratches the surface and at times the dialogue feels more cool than realistic. This western has everything, it's an adventure, it has comedic elements, it's action and it has even got some romance in it. The movie is about friendship and going against the odds as the men keep challenging themselves to grow.
It's a very entertaining movie, It doesn't compare to some of the old Spaghetti westerns out there but it doesn't try either. Young guns was a new brand of Western that we hadn't really seen before. It doesn't follow the real story of Billy the Kid correctly either. There are some fabrications of the truth here and there, but Young Guns come in all guns blazing and it does it with a big grin on it's face. The movie came out when the Western genre was more or less dead and buried, but the movie did pretty well despite scoring bad reviews and it helped revitalise the dead genre a bit.
I've seen more than 100 western movies in my days but I still think that this is the most exciting western movie out there, maybe not the best but definitely one of the few that I can watch over and over again. Movie fans... Mount Up!
Glasblåsarns barn (1998)
Narnia Light, with no taste at all
Terrible story, not logic at all. bad acting, except from Pernilla August and Stellan Skarsgård. I can make a big list of everything that went wrong with this movie. But as said Skarsgård and August does their roles faultless. And the photo is great. But it ends there. The stupidity of this movie will perhaps even be noticed by small kids. This is not for the adult. Really an insult to kids I would say. But perhaps this is even too scary for the kids which has to be the main audience for this flick. The style of this movie reminds me a bit of Narnia or Charlie and the chocolate factory. But with a almost non existing storyline. It hurts me to see such a big budget (at least for Sweden) being thrown away into this mess of a film. I cant understand why any grownup would enjoy this. Its just a terrible movie.
