The Ultimate Legacy (2016)
Disappointing
The Ultimate Gift was a great story and The Ultimate Life was endearing, yet not as grand as it's predecessor. The Ultimate Legacy, starts off cute, but "Ultimately" fails to live up to the "Legacy" as the main character Joey has no real defects of character as did Jason Stevens in the first movie. Basically it's a story of a perfect millennial playing with a trust fund of $5MM who doesn't really do anything to earn everything his grandmother left him and then some. To sum the movie up in one word = "Disappointing"
The gifts/steps Joey has to take are extremely short lived with the first one being a tiny garden he must build, the second being having to give away funds let for veterans and the rest being played out very quickly around a table meeting between attorneys and persons with vested interest in the estate of his late grandmother. The movie could have cut out about an hour of wasted yawns.
