The Carbonaro Effect (2014)
The show is fake with its editing to make it appear
... that the host has the talent, but he does not. It disingenuous. A different show may be upfront
that they were using props, but they would film
the take in a continuous motion for you to believe
the act.
Leave It to Beaver: Sweatshirt Monsters (1962)
Rock band Rush: "Conform or be cast out!"
The principal thought she was making a point to The
Beaver when she asked him if he imagined if all of the
students in the school were to wear similar shirts as to what he was wearing. I would say that the students would be dressed similarly, or conforming,
and there would not be too much distraction over it.
The Andy Griffith Show: Barney's Uniform (1964)
Physically threatening (law enforcement) without an arrest ruins the episode ...
For me. It is too much of a suspension of disbelief.
*Spoilers* Once Barney was threatened, the person should have been arrested
and put in jail. Then he should have had to face a judge.
It sets up the wrong notion of what is tolerated by a citizen against the law enforcement.
Blue Bloods: Something Blue (2019)
* Spoilers * Did Jamie and Eddie get married?
* Spoilers*
All that was shown at the end was the Commissioner walking Eddie
down the aisle. No ceremony was shown. There is no proof they got married. There was no reception. The episode was hyped on TV and Facebook, but it failed mightily to deliver.
The Andy Griffith Show: Barney Mends a Broken Heart (1962)
The premise is not believable about Peggy not turning away her old friend.
When Peggy's old friend showed up unannounced, she should have told him, "Sorry, I have a date, please come back tomorrow or the next available day. And call me on the phone first. " At the end of the episode she told Andy that she could not turn away her friend. No! She has her obligation to her date. And she is not to share her date with her friend, either, as she tried to do. And, with her not realizing this/admitting this by the end of the episode, she and Andy are only opening herself up to repeating this same rude behavior of hers again. She was a jerk.
The Office: Garden Party (2011)
I found it mostly awkward, not funny.
I got annoyed when the dress for the garden party was stated as "casual,"
but everyone I saw was dressed up! And, yes, Stephen Collins should not be acting anymore, given his sex crime(s).
Disorder in the Court (1936)
This is one of their best,
And this does not rate below a 9/10. I rated it 10/10. Anyone who rates it lower
than 9/10 is poor at rating.
The Twilight Zone: The Self-Improvement of Salvadore Ross (1964)
IMDb reviewer AaronCaperBanner, Ross did NOT love her.
IMDb reviewer AaronCaperBanner, Ross was not "deeply in love with her."
He wasn't in love with her. He was abusive, controlling, etc. toward her.
That is not love.
Star Trek: The Next Generation: Parallels (1993)
It's Deja Vu All Over Again and Tiresome, Too.
This episode felt as if they were using themes from at least a few episodes and rehashing them again as far as a "temporal rift" goes. There was so much "tech speak/jargon, that I was getting lost, and I
started not caring after a while. Their solution to helping Worf just sounded contrived and quick to help finish up the episode. The lack of originality was off-putting.
