Death Proof (2007)
I loved: sexiest girls, muscle cars and stunt action. Violence and delirium.
This Tarantino's great movie with shocking action really made me mad for a will. I have not question, about this one shows the most exiting car persecution i ever saw in the movies. The cast is magnificent, truly convincing actuation; Mr. Russell the old Disney's pretty boy rollover his natural talent to play upstanding action roles. The use of aged film effect puts me on the 70's and the "rockola" music sounds like...¡Whoa!. Not so perfect...the scene on black and white is irrelevant, technical delirium maybe; the abuse in drugs is malicious,...why not only drinks to made the culpability element. Today hundreds die for this cause in the real world. But all this made the Tarantino's mark, gore, sexuality, violence,...¿Do you expected something else?
Fast Food Nation (2006)
It's not so bad eat meat with a little piece of...
Not so bad at all. We have develop strong resistance to the E. Colli, Salmonella and all kind of amoebas and bacterial agents. I want to thank to McDonnalds & Burger King for that contribution to the health of human kind...(LOL)(LOL). This picture only reveals just a overview about the truth involved the fast food controversy, and for other part the writers link this problem with the Mexican illegal migration to USA. I think those subjects are very disconnected, because the first is a problem of Public Health and the Mexican migration its seen like a problem of Security of the State. I think the producers want to kill two birds with one shoot, and the final product was short at all. The acting is very well done, special attention for: Bruce Willis, Kris Kristopherson, Ana Talancón, Patricia Arquette and upstanding Greg Kinnear. Avril Lavigne and Ethan Hawke just pass without honors. A quote: Mexican theaters owners Cinepolis and Cinemex, prefer the no exhibition of the movie because his partnership with the fast food corporations.
Maclovia (1948)
A Great Movie for a Great Place
Emilio Fernández was one of the best directors of Mexican classical cinema, Maclovia is a masterpiece of art work; but, i wonder?... and the cinematography?...Patzcuaro's Lake is one of the most beautiful places in México...I'm Michoacano, so was a great honor for us: Mr. Fernández was making the film, taking to the world the magnificent charming of this piece of land and water that is Patzcuaro Lake and his islands: Yunuen, Janitzio, La Pacanda y Uranden, and the famous fishermen with his "canoas" and the characteristic butterfly web. Maclovia take on a strong drama, the passion, the love and the jealousy of a poor men, for his pretty and young woman.
Pink Floyd: The Wall (1982)
A great way to introduce us into the insane dream of a psychotic personality.
Already, I read almost the critics to this movie in this site, as well I had to heard a lots of comments about it, all they have differences, which one have a personal opinion, his own points of view. Well, this movie is very psychological, every person has his own traumas, some of they are revealed in the complex personality called "PINK". No men not have all the package, even a insane person. "PINK" represents a social character, the disgrace of a entire generation in all the possible forms, there are represented: WAR, DEAD, SEXUAL BEHAVIOR, DRUGS, RETROGRADE EDUCATION, POLITICAL Oppression, FASCISM, REBELION, MARRIAGE, INFIDELITY, BAD MANAGEMENT OF THE SUCCESS, DEPRESION, ETC. ETC.,...We all are guilty of living in this time, so at the end, we all are stoned in the WALL, because is the price for living in this crazy world. So, you don't need to understand this movie, just enjoy it or suffered in your own way. This is a masterpiece of art, great music, very good direction and the magnificent work of Bob Geldorf as "PINK". A Quote: In México, at the 70's the movie was prohibited to exhibition in Theater's because the government afraid to the possibility of violence from youth citizen's.
