Ghost Whisperer: The Curse of the Ninth (2006)
JC Chasez was in this
JC has a small role but one of his songs from his shelved unreleased, unfinalized solo sophomore album "Kate" of the mid 2000s, Until Yesterday, plays in the background of one of the scenes. Maybe one day, we will get those songs available to the public for streaming, the songs are awesome. Back to the show. JC's bandmate is haunted by a spirit who won't allow that bandmate to play any music. The show spooks me out a bit when spirits show up but then you feel sorry for one of the spirits and you wish another spirit wouldn't be so troubled and accept the help of the ghost whisperer. I can see why the show was popular back in the day, it's not bad, predictable, but was pretty good for the one episode that I watched. Later, JC is playing the guitar in the background for a very short time. He isn't one of the leads, he gives info to the ghost whisperer a couple of times, but the episode focuses more on other characters.
Trolls Band Together (2023)
Really well done
Honestly, I would have never seen this movie, but I did because *NSYNC did the song Better Place which I love. The movie was really good, colorful, cheerful, good plot, I was invested in the characters. I did get spoilers before seeing the movie, so I knew JT was Branch, *NSYNC's in the movie for a few seconds at the end. I highly recommend the 3D, even though nothing comes out at you, the 3D was a cool touch to the movie going experience. I'm not going to cover myself in glitter, tease my hair the stand straight up, wear denim, but I will tell everybody about the movie. I'm hoping to get small troll figures of *Nsync: Hype, Ablaze, Trikkie, Boom, and Branch. This movie got me listening to the music on all the streaming apps. It gave me alot nostalgia, I listen and bought past albums and CDs, I bought more apparel merch.. next, I'm hoping for a tour.
Opening Night (2016)
Enjoyed it alot, repeatedly seen it, will see it again
If you performed, played in the pit, or a crew member for musicals, you'd get the humor easily.
You follow the stage manager, main character, as well as his boss, his support team and the singers and dancers, and everyone's relationships and learn a little bit of each individual who all play an important role in getting the first night of the musical show running. The humor is you are on the inside of the trials and tribulations, the hurdles, as if you, yourself can identify a little bit as the stage manager and how to deal with each and every hiccup while solving those hiccups, plus there's this girl he never got over and works with, but he needs a paying job so that's why he's a stage manager and not performing on stage itself.
If you are a fan of *NSYNC's JC Chasez, this is a must to see, be sure to stay and watch the closing credits.
Not for kids. I'd recommend for high schoolers and older.
I've seen it a few times. R. I. P. Anne Hecht, she did a really good job in her role.
Alot great talent, was fun to watch, and I'll watch it again and again.
