The Clone Wars Review
11 October 2008
The Clone Wars is a new TV show that is set in the Star Wars universe between Episode 2 and Episode 3 of the Star Wars saga. I saw this show as soon as it premiered in Canada and I was impressed with some parts of the show and also not impressed. I loved the animation design of the whole atmosphere of the galaxy and the design of all the characters. It was colorful and very creative just like you'd see in every Star Wars movie. I also enjoyed the voice acting even though most of the main actors in the live action movies never returned. The dialogue at sometimes was a bit cheesy at times and the way some of the droids talked was just plain stupid and it could annoy many fans. Besides that though the other actors are very good voice actors.

The things I was not impressed with the series is how the great John Williams didn't return to do the music and also I found the plot outline a bit weak. Without John Williams, fans will recognize changes in the music that are not anything like the music you'd hear in any of the 6 Star Wars films. Also, I can't say I hated the plot but I can say I didn't think it was great. I found it a bit childish but really what does it matter, this show is meant for kids!

Anyways overall I did enjoy The Clone Wars and I'm glad to say I will continue watching it every Friday night it's on. I recommend this TV show to Star Wars fans who want to experience the Star Wars universe and also to kids. If someone is starting to watch the Star Wars movies I don't recommend watching this first. I recommend that they watch the live action films so they can get a key idea of what Star Wars is like.

Return of the Jedi - Review
1 September 2008
Warning: Spoilers
Return of the Jedi is the sequel to the Empire Strikes Back and is also the final episode of the original Star Wars trilogy. Like the rest of the previous Star Wars films, Return of the Jedi was an entertaining movie but in my opinion not as good as the previous 2 films in the original trilogy. Return of the Jedi lacked story with it's continuation plot. The whole story in the film was just finishing the conflict that was unsolved in the Empire Strikes Back and also just finishing the original trilogy by solving the conflict in the complete trilogy. Besides the not so strong plot, Return of the Jedi is visually breathtaking with it's beautiful art direction and set designs. Return of the Jedi also is very exciting with the amazing special effects and battle scenes. So in conclusion to my review, Return of the Jedi is a very fun to watch film but it's just not as great as the previous 2 films in the original trilogy.

Don't even bother...
29 August 2008
I just finished viewing Disaster movie on opening night. I came in with no expectations at all due to being tired of these spoof movies since Meet the Spartans, but I had to go in since I couldn't see Death Race. So when I was viewing this movie I really thought nothing could make me laugh. There were no character developments, there were no disaster movies spoofs(the only disaster things happening in the movie were meteors falling which were only 2 by the way). To tell you all the truth, I only chuckled once or twice(at the Juno parts). The rest of the jokes were either dumb, immature, or just recycled garbage from past movies.

So to tell you all right now I have to say one thing about this movie: Don't see it, it's no improvement from previous spoof mistakes.

The Empire Strikes Back-Review
3 May 2008
Warning: Spoilers
This film is the sequel to the original Star Wars(1977). For a sequel I actually was really impressed by this movie for its beautiful art direction, visual effects and its musical score. I can also admit I adored the storyline a lot because the character development grows a lot more than the previous film. But I can tell you all this right now this really isn't a kids movie as much as the other Star Wars films. This is definitely more darker in many ways especially Luke's side of the story. But then again that darkness and maturity brought one of the most famous lines in movie history, "Luke I am your Father". Okay so overall I give this movie a 9 out of 10 for accomplishing everything a sequel needs. One thing though, you probably might all know but this movie leads to another sequel Return of the Jedi. SPOILER-someone gets captured and Luke and Leia have to rescue him. That means this movie has no ending but still I say this movie IS THE BEST OF 1980!!
