There's nothing more butthurt than Star Wars fans.

Trounces Star Wars on every level!

You name it these two films do what Star Wars has tried to do, in its many and opaquely convoluted self consumed 'episodes' (an SF soap basically) and failed at every turn to accomplish..and there has only been two iterations!!!

Utterly brilliant!

Engaging..involving and utterly convincing on every level..everything that SW has miserably failed at.

'Don't look too closely' I was once told by a SW fan once..'That's the whole point of SW'... I was flummoxed..why should I have to squint?

Why is SW not accountable? Why does it get a 'free pass'?

It doesn't deserve one, that's for sure!

American Star (2024)

Short attention spans avoid!

If you have a short attention span, hate great cinematography, don't understand nuance..can't abide beautiful scenery..have no interest in the combined complexities of human relationships coupled with random synchronicity..if you also hate nor have the intellectual capacity for nuance nor well observed subtitles..if you also have very little capacity for understanding human emotion and are devoid of compassion..if you cannot suspend disbelief..if your cinematic diet does not extend beyond soda and popcorn and that that is all the nourishment and sustenance you require in your consumption of film then this piece is not for you.

I loved it.
