Mediocre in too many aspects

The movie just looks poorly made. Odd extras that perform below amateur level. Some simply look like they have never done any acting in their life.

Character actions feel rushed and quite unnatural. Like picking the lock like no one ever would, or doing covert operation like a bunch of students who are lost in the mall. As mentioned beforehand, many things are done on amateur level.

Movie also gave me a feeling that it tries to be Ozark, whether its a camera work, or a background theme. A tall tree to climb.

To be fair, Eve and Banderas do their best, but it is a mystery to me who convinced them to participate in this endeavor.

It's not horrible, but I wouldn't pay to see it.

Napoleon (2023)

Somewhat of expected disappointment

I love Napoleon's era. And I generally love Ridley's Scott movies.

So I have had some hope, though I had my doubts if its even possible to depict Napoleon's life and a character in a movie.

And sadly I was correct. It didnt work out at all.

First the good things.

Visuals are amazing as you would expect from this director. Actors performance is also quite good.

But thats about it.

Historically, this move is a joke. Everything is cut short, and not explained. Napoleons' military genius is barely present in this film. Yet thats what he was. He was feared for his military prowess.

Somehow instead of this, movie is more centered about his romance with Josephine. And it gets incredibly boring.

What would anyone who is familiar with Napoleons Era think, when asked, who is Napoleon? I can guarantee you, that nobody would even mention his sexual fetishes and a slutty wife.

People here who rate this movie 10 out of 10 are infantile children, who are likely know nothing about Napoleons life and achievements.

And they watch it as if its some sort of typical blockbuster, like transformers, which also has a poor script, but hey, things go BOOM BOOM and its flashy. 10 out of 10.

A figure such as Napoleon, deserves a mini-series.
