It was so bad I couldn't force myself to watch it. Horrid.

Very well made. The acting is excellent. The atmosphere is fine. It's not Perry Mason, however. There is no way that the character introduced in this series could ever in any way evolve into the Perry Mason of the books. The modernizations and alterations to the secondary characters are understandable, but PM has been made almost the opposite of what he is in the original.
Well worth watching, but don't think you're getting Perry Mason.
