A Whitewater Romance (2024)
Another 2023 Hallmark Bomb
I just love Cindy Busby, but unfortunate. She hasn't had many good roles recently. This movie was no exception to that streak. Cyndi is very predictable very unlikable and you never really can figure out what the actor who plays Matt sees in her. She takes bad advice. She is supposed to be a big time worker at her company but told to cheat in order to get a contract. Worst part is she's ok with that. Her action in This movie are so disgusting that you just want to turn it off, but you muscle through it so that you can see if anything positive comes to this film. Sadly, Cyndi's character chickens out of many of the events that her coworkers were doing. The CEO of the company that she works for isn't very likable at all. You never really know what her angle is in trying to get people motivated in order to do a really good job. Sorry to say this, but you're better off getting a root canal, then sitting through the two hours of this movie. As a matter of fact your time would be better spent getting a root canal instead of watching this movie.
Flipping for Christmas (2023)
I didn't get it.
So after watching this movie twice I have to say I still don't get it. There's no reason for the leads to like each other. There's no reason for the lead to even be there. The premise of the movie is missing. The sound track didn't always go with the dialog. Why does the female lead fall in love or even like her romantic interest? He is never nice to her. The story needed more. Why does a complete outsider have so much invested in a place she has nothing in the game? This review is all over the place because the movie is all over the place. I can't say it was time well spent to watch it twice so maybe this is a movie you can miss.
Snowkissed (2021)
The characters are unrelatable
So I usually don't leave a bad review until I've seen the movie more than once. Just in case I miss something. But after watching this, for the third time, I have to say that the characters do not relate to each other in the least. They show no reason to to like each other let alone fall in love. The three stars are for the house, and the natural scenery. Even though it wasn't factually accurate as to locations, it was still very nice to see. Back to the negative. The dialogue was weak. The kisses were not true to hallmark style. You just never get into the characters like you do another Hallmark movies should you watch it sure only if you got nothing better to do.
Fate Is the Hunter (1964)
Great Movie
I've been watching this movie for decades. From all the other reviews you all know the story. Fate is the hunter is a great title for a movie about fate and what if's. Glenn Ford and Suzanne Pleshette acting is wonderful. The black-and-white filming Only enhances this movie. So on a rainy Saturday when you're feeling rainy day blues sit back with some popcorn and get engrossed by this wonderful film.
