Stitch! The Movie (2003 Video)
9/10
I loved it, why can't more?
10 September 2003
Warning: Spoilers
Sure it doesn't EXACTLY have as much of the warmth of the first movie, but it sure is funny!

Stitch, Peakley, and Jumba are now living with Lilo and Nani. But no one knows that Jumba had brought his other expiriemts to Earth... ALL 625 OF THEM! (wouldn't people wonder why Stitch was named 626?)

Jumba's ex-partner, Dr. Hamsterveil (Not Hamsterwheel, not Gerbal-like) and his hireling the ex-Captain Gantu know that. So Gantu captures Jumba to find out where they are, because he only finds expiriment 625's dehydrated pod. (Oh yeah. They're dehydrated for storage)

Hamsterveil demands to the rest of the gang that they bring the other 624 as ransom for Jumba, though, awhile ago, Lilo and Stitch had activated expiriment 221, which they dubbed "Sparky".

One of my favorite characters was 625. Hamsterveil thought that 625 would tourture Jumba into telling where the others are, because he has all the powers of Stitch... to his bitter disappointment "I AM IRKED!" and to our great humor, 625 may have all of Stitch's powers, but he is wise-cracking, lazy, and cowardly. But, on the other hand, he makes good sandwiches!

[END SPOILER]

Oh, and another thing, Stitch doesn't want to give up his 625 "cousins". Remember "ohana"? "Ohana" means "family". "Family" means "Nobody gets left behind or forgotten."

Okay, the series is going to be KIND OF like Pokiemon (sp?), but, actually, I hardly thought of it. Whenever it was going to the end of the movie, I thought, "Hm, gotta chatch 'em all? Sounds kind of like that show Pokemon." but then I forgot about it.

[ANOTHER SPOILER (same instructions as before)]

And I LOVE in the end when Peakley gets his hopes up that the Grand Councilwoman would take them home, then, like, a second later the ship takes off without them. "I'll go get the wig." HA! HA! HA!

[END SPOILER]

Overall, I loved the movie, and can't wait to see what the TV show's like, it has the same basic idea as Pokemon, so I hear, but I know enough of Lilo and Stitch to know it has a WAY DIFFERENT additute about it.

Is NOT a horrible movie! [Roasting the comment]
30 August 2003
wileyjp, how much are you paid to horribly bad-sass perfectly okay movies? $1 million? Two?

First off, we all have different opinions on what makes a good cartoon character. And I don't remember any law of a character like Goofy turning from a care-free athletically-challenged guy to a caring father... oh, did I neglect to mention the fact that he's still athletically-challenged for all of you out there?

Anyway, SPEAK FOR YOURSELF ON THE GOOFY-FANS OPINION OF THE SHOW! For all you know, many Goofy fans out there may have LOVED the TV show!

"I am insulted by the fact that the movie claims that Goofy was in college in the '70's. He was an adult in the 1930's, meaning he was more likely a college student in the 1870's" Ugh! Just reading that makes me want to gag or bang my head off the keyboard (like Wade did in KP episode "Naked Genius") or both! HELLO!? You're making him sound ancient, or like some witch! Even though Goofy cartoons have been living that long HE STILL HAS A NORMAL LIFE-SPAN!

"Oh yeah, AND it introduces him to Sylvia, the college librarian, a fellow child of the Summer of Love, and they *gag* GO ON A DATE!!!! This is a hole from which Disney will NEVER be able to dig themselves out. There was a REASON Goofy was not given a "Minnie Mouse" of his own. Goofy is a simple character, and giving him romance with a (hopefully) one-shot character does nothing but kill him" I... I am so shocked with you for saying that! [for this part, Dan's on the verge of tears] YOU SHOULD BE PROUD OF GOOFY! He now has his own girl to love. He's happy. AND THAT SHOULD BE ENOUGH FOR YOU, YOU HORRIBLE SELFISH PIG!!! [bawls like mad]

[Later, Dan comes back to continue] And where did the brat thing come from? Max was embarrassed by his dads, well, goofy-ness. HAVE YOU EVER HEARD THE EXPRESSION "BABY STEPS"?

As for the Pete thing, it wasn't like HE was going back to college! Just be satisfied your precious villain--that's right! Villain!--appeared at all!

As for Roxanne, for all we know, she could be going to a different college!

As for your comments for the sporting events, NO ONE ASKED WHETHER YOU THOUGHT THEY WERE UNREALISTIC OR NOT! AS LONG AS IT WAS FUNNY AND/OR ENJOYABLE! AND I FOUND IT TO BE GOOD ENOUGH FOR ME!

Goofy fans, I assure you, wileyjp is just being one-minded on this. He/she shouldn't be acting like ALL Goofy fans agree with him/her on everything about the Goofy stuff! You may or may not enjoy this movie, but wileyjp should NOT make you judge the "Goof Troop", "A Goofy Movie", or "An Extremely Goofy Movie" just on what she says, just because you're the fans of the same character!

Just a message to you all, just because, as a fan, you think that something ruined that thing you liked, DOES NOT MEAN THAT OTHER FANS THINK THE SAME WAY YOU DO!

THE DEFENSE RESTS!

A one-of-a-kind pup, a canine superstar, a backstabbing sidekick mutt, and much, much more...
20 August 2003
My opinion for the movie is funny and great! Patch "felt lost in a sea of spots". I know. That line is getting old, but SO WHAT!?

Patch soon meets his hero, Thunderbolt, in a contest. But, with his bad bark ("Who sat on a squeaky toy?") It's obvious he's not going to win.

Meanwhile, Lil. Lightning, Thunderbolts spunky (and, I must say, kinda cute) sidekick has turned dark in the lead dog's shadow. Good pun, huh? Anyway, he tricks Thunderbolt into thinking he's going to be killed off the show and replaced. And that the only way to remain on the show would be to do something heroic in the real world. Thunderbolt falls for it.

As for Cruella de Vil? She's being kept out of every fur shop in London, as part of her parole. She soon meets up with pop-artist, Lars, who works on painting spots. She decides to give him an inspiration by re-stealing the puppies and giving them to him as a gift. But Lars quickly rejects when he learns what Cruella plans to do with them.

As the trailer says, this movie shows the difference between acting like a hero and being one. It also shows that you can be a one-of-a-kind if you put your mind to it. One minor lesson is that if at first you don't succeed, try, try, and try again.

Patch is a good-hearted adventurous pup, Thunderbolt is the fame-loving canine superstar, Lil. Lightning is his spunky and cute backstabbing sidekick mutt, Cruella is not allowed to buy furs, Jasper and Horace are scared of her, her car is still broken down from what happened in the first movie, Pongo has a bad habit of loosing count of the dalmations... it's hard to write down in one review every piece I like about this movie.

A Goofy Movie (1995)
A Really Goofy Movie. AND I LIKE IT LIKE THAT!
20 August 2003
This movie is part of the coming to a close on the "Goof Troop" TV series that introduces Goofy Goof's 11-year-old son, Max.

Max is now 15 and trying to impress the pretty and popular Roxanne. But, like they say in the trailer, "It's hard to be cool when your dad is Goofy."

The movie has some great tunes, like "After Today", when Max dreams of what will happen after the day he finally impresses Roxanne, "Out on the Open Road", where Goofy strikes up a show tune to entertain them, when they break the radio competing on what music to listen to, "Lester's Possum Park" a very unusual (and, according to Max, pathetic) mechanical performance at a run-down theme park, "Nobody Else But You", where Goofy and Max finally TRULY bond. Then, of course, there's the PowerLine rock songs "Stand Out" and "Eye 2 Eye".

The movie has lovable characters, too. Goofy, the accident-prone early Disney character; Max, his rockin' teenaged son; P.J. (Pete Jr.), Max's best bud; Pete, the baddie type person who Goofy treats as a friend; Bobby, the unusual cheese lover, Roxanne, Miss Pretty-and-popular; Stacey, Roxanne's best friend, etc, etc, etc...

In my opinion, I give this movie 2 Mickey Mouse ears UP!

House of Mouse (2001–2003)
Great show!
19 August 2003
I think it's a very funny show bringing back all the classic characters, making them the crew of a lively nightclub, and making all the memorable new Disney stars the audience.

Mickey hosts the show, Minnie keeps everything backstage running smoothly, Pluto... I forget his job... Donald is the greeter, Daisy seats people, Goofy is headwaiter, Gus is the chef, Max (one of the newer characters, but still...) parks cars, Clarabell works with "word on the street", and Horace runs the cartoons.

Before the "House of Mouse", I never heard of characters like Clarabell and Horace. And when I heard that they were around before (though the other comments posted here) I was quite surprised. And I agree that it was great of Disney Studios to bring them back.

And, of course, let's not forget the new member of the Disney family, the spunky, enthusiastic talking microphone, Mike! Something I really wish is that they'd give this guy his own big break.

I love hearing lines like "Hit it, Horace!" and find it hilarious when Horace pulls out a sludge hammer or a boxing glove extender thing to, literally, well, HIT IT!

The things I don't like about the show aren't the crew's fault. Those characters I don't like are just who they are to make the show interesting. I don't like Mortimer Mouse at all. He's a jerk and a snobbish pig! And, Pete, lay off trying to shut down the House of Mouse! Though, I do wish PJ would make an appearance some time.

Well, over all, I give this show 2 ears up! (Pardon the quote from the episode "The Mouse who came to Dinner")

Time Squad (2001–2003)
As TV Tome editor for Time Squad...
1 August 2002
...I have to say that I really like this show. I also have fun editing for it and the quotes that people send in. I also like competiting with the cartoon strip-miner, Candace Elder (aka candy17)(who Angel-Marie sounds suspisiously like), on what's a goof and what's not (ex: "when Tuddrussel was screwing Larry's head on his body (after being beaten up by the farmers), Larry's expression changes when Tuddrussel says..." and "Al Capone's cigar changes length throughout the episode."). Plus I get word about new episodes from a myserious contributer named "BURGERTRAINS". Plus I post many episode ideas in the viewer comments, enspired by a contributer named "vze28cxg". In short, Time Squad is fun to watch and fun to edit.
