Amazing world of Eli Stone
29 October 2008
What makes this show so touching and exciting? I think first of all it's the incredible story that catches attention. I wonder where they get all these ideas about his visions, but everything looks so structured and right. The second thing is of course cast members. Johny Lee Miller is superb in the title role. He makes me cry and laugh. His character is amazingly written! Then it's Victor Garber who's just great! I love him singing in Eli's visions as he has good voice and he is so funny. The topics for each episode are unique and important. Not to mention that they are all actual. I guess it means a lot for a show that it is watched not only in America or Europe but also in Central Asia. I love this show and hope there will be more seasons as I don't want to say "goodbye" to Eli!

Admiral (2008)

For love is strong as death...
15 October 2008
But if I am still alive

Counter to destiny

That's only as your love

And memory of you

Ana Timireva

"Your smile that I will never forget, your voice, your hands are the symbol of the highest award for me which can give me life for performance of the greatest aim, military idea, debt and the obligations sent by the severe and unshakable nature of war…" These words full of love, emotions and fear to lose his beloved woman were written by Admiral Kolchak to Anna Timireva. She was a married woman with a son, he had wife and son too. Anna was younger than Admiral in 19 years but love does not have borders and they both understood it. He wasn't the handsomest of men and besides he was a soldier and patriot dedicated to the army and to the country. But she was the real princess: young, clever and gorgeous. They seemed to be just ordinary people but their amazing love story and tragic destiny made them legends.

"Admiral" is that type of movies that you watch on one breath and when it ends you don't need to speak with your friends and share your thoughts about the film. It is something extraordinary that you keep deep inside your heart. You are nearly crying as if it was your own life and your sufferings. This is the power of that movie. First of all, you will be impressed with the actors' transformation. Konstantyn Habensky as Admiral Kolchak is exactly the man from that epoch. Fearless, brave and strong person with so many contradictions that finally led him to his death. Habensky has previously worked with Elizaveta Boyarskaya in "Irony of Fate 2" but in this picture they are more natural and real as a duet.

Historical dramas are for sure one of the most hardest genre. The duty of actors is to make audience believe that you are that Man or that Woman from specific century and era. In "Admiral" Elizaaveta Boyarskaya did a fantastic job. She did a hundred times better than she did in "Irony of Fate" Maybe it's because "Irony" was just a sequel of the famous Soviet film. But Anna in "Admiral" is definitely her role that she played with fidelity and grace.

I also want to say few words about the music. The original score is fantastic. And the title song "Anna" which was a poem written by Anna Timireva and dedicated to Kolchak sounds so touching. Just listen to it and you will understand how strong this woman were. Singer Victoria Dayneko performed it perfectly and her voice is amazing.

Admiral was killed in February 7, 1920. Anna Timireva spent most of her life in prisons and camps. She died in 1975. As she said she had been with Admiral only for two years. But she never stopped loving him even after his death.

This is truly the best show!!!!
4 May 2008
I have watched just the first season but I can't wait to watch the second 'cause I'm hooked on it! This is a great family show that brings a lot of important things. I don't remember any of the todays show (well except "Ghost Whisperer") to be so touching and exciting. I love the Walkers and they remind me my own family. Sally Field is amazing as always and everyone on this page thinks the same way that I do. But I want to write about the actors who played Nora's children. They all did great job! Calista Flockhart (Kitty), Balthazar Getty (Tommy),Rachel Griffiths (Sarah), Matthew Rhys (Kevin) and Dave Annable (Justin) are Brothers&Sisters! You believe them, you cry and laugh with them, you want to support them. To be honest I even cried watching the series where Tommy's and Julia's just born baby died. It was hard to watch! And everyone came to the hospital to support Tommy and his wife. This is the Family! And you can be absolutely sure that those who love you will help you in a hard time.

What a piece of..........
21 April 2008
Why? Why did they make this movie! It's so predictable and bad that I switched of the TV after the first 15 minutes. But then I decided to finish watching and it was a disappointment! While the first movie was in my opinion great and I still watch it sometimes, the second one is a disaster! Thank God it was aired on TV and I hadn't bought a DVD (but I wanted). It would have been a complete waste of money! I didn't like the second Paige and I compared her with the amazing Julia Stiles. The thing about the "Book" was copied from "Princess Diaries", the main characters didn't have a chemistry, Paige's rival was sooooo bad!!!!! And the King and the Queen didn't resemble monarchs!!!! How could that possibly be!

Friends (1994–2004)

You are really can never have enough Friends!!!!
1 April 2008
Friends are definitely the best show ever! I love the characters, I love the jokes, I love that they all look like us which makes the sitcom more realistic. Monica,Rachel,Phoebe,Chandler,Ross and Joey every day face with the same problems that we do. Recently I bought DVD with all seasons of the show and every evening after a hard day on work I sit in front of the TV and just enjoying it! Friends help me to relax and forget about bad stuff. I'd like to thank all the creators of the show who had so many ideas and a really good sense of humor! And thank you for casting all these amazing actors who were all great playing the funniest characters on TV!!!!!
