Friends: The Reunion (2021 TV Special)
7/10
If it wasn't FRIENDS I wouldn't have liked it
5 June 2021
The show, if looked objectively, is a little silly and empty. The directing is poor too.

BUT It's FRIENDS, the best show in TV history, so yeah, I almost cried for a whole lot of reasons. And I laughed hard too, but mostly out of love.

I wish they put a little more effort in it, but I was very happy just seeing them one more time after all these here.

Soul (2020)

Loved it almost to tears (and I'm a big man with a beard)

Before explaining why I liked this movie, I'd like to point out that the main idea of the movie is *NOT* that you need find your purpose to have a happy life. It's the exact opposite! I'm not saying this just to be a professor, but because it's really important and that's why I loved the film so much. You don't need to be fixated about something to find a meaning in your life. You need to savour it and learn to enjoy the little moments instead of waiting for something big to happen to reach happiness. It's so profound and refreshing. A movie just about a guy waiting for his big moment and feeling fulfilled after having reached it would have been dull, boring, trite and most of all wrong, like pretty much all "self-help" advices. Instead the opposite idea is presented and if you just pay attention to the dialogues -and the story, really- you'll understand what I mean and most importantly what you might apply to make your everyday life better. But back to the movie I've got to say I almost cried as the end was approaching as much as I was going to turn off the tv when the movie started. The whole initial setting reminded me too much of Inside Out, a film I quite disliked, so I was worried it was a copy of it (it kind of is in the beginnin). But luckily the second half steered away from it and developed in one of the most moving film I've seen in a long time. Undoubtedly one of Pixar's best.

Hannah Gadsby: Nanette (2018 TV Special)
3/10
Yet another Netflix special we didn't need
8 September 2018
People only rate this high because of the gender theme that's hot right now and they're afraid to appear not politically correct enough. This is not comedy nor a Ted talk nor anything of any value. I'm sorry for Hannah because she seems a fine girl, but people should really stop filling they're mouth of big words on hot topics just to appear cool.

13 Reasons Why (2017–2020)
2/10
Such a waste of time. Bad in every way.
11 April 2017
I usually don't write reviews, but this time I felt the urge to warn fellow TV watchers not to waste their time. And believe me, slow- paced psychological shows are my thing. But this is just trash. This is a weird mix between Dawson's Creek and Twilight. Everything is so awful I don't even know where to start.

#Every character is bi-dimensional: No depth in sight. They all look like perfect puppets with emotion A and emotion B triggered for past and present story arc. And I'm not talking about acting. The kids do their fair job. It's the script that's shallow.

#Dialogues make no sense: Every character is a witty smart-pants, always with the most clever thing to say. Sometimes they start talking out of nowhere when 2 seconds earlier they hated each other. Not believable for even a second. #Relations between characters are like in a sit-com: related to the point before. That's not how people interact with each other.

#Useless, meaningless suspense: All the kids playing it all mysterious and cool. Really? Do teens do that at school? And given it's fiction: what for? Just a failed and dumb attempt to add some suspense.

# Hannah's recording reminds me of a romantic comedy rather than a suicide-based thriller: she doesn't sound a girl who's going to take her life at all. She's all calm and rational. Not really the mood of a person about to commit suicide. Let alone the fact that makes the story -if it wasn't already enough- less believable.

#It' so boring: Almost nothing happens in 50 minutes. You always feel like the thing is gonna start sometimes, but it never does. And what takes Clay so long to play the cassette? Just the mediocre writers could tell you that, because I don't' think that's how a normal people behave.

#The cassettes' master-plan is dumb: settled that this show lacks everything that makes a show watchable, I must add that the engine that starts everything is just a dumb idea. It's not nearly close to what a troubled teen would do, and itself is just an intricate and unnecessary evil plan just to keep the story going.

I really can't believe people are giving this this high rating. The only explanation is they never watched a movie before. Or never seen a person in real life for that matter.

Huge waste of time. I can't believe I spent one entire evening watching this.
