Intervention (2005– )

Great Show

I am not the reality show kind of chick...or at least I wasn't. This show is the best. The people know their are taping a documentary about their addictions but don't know about the intervention. Its actually kind of scary to know that people actually go through different addictions and see how it affects them mentally and physically. I always cry (happy tears) when the intervention comes and they end up going to get help.

They always do follow ups as well letting us know how the treatment went and if they are still doing good. Very inspirational and it shows that even the "strongest" can be even stronger getting help and overcoming their addictions! I love this show!

The Exorcism of Emily Rose (2005)

Good Movie

First of all this was a good movie. I wouldn't necessarily consider it a horror movie like Friday The 13th but it was suspenseful like The Ring. I had to look away sometimes because being a suspenseful movie watcher all my life I knew by the sound of the chilling music something was gonna happen that would freak me out and boy did it do its job.

It wasn't overly predictable. It was a look back on what exactly happened when Emily Rose got possessed and how it ended. It wasn't a "push the catholic belief down everyones throat" because defending the Priest was an agnostic lawyer trying to not only get ahead in her career but convince a journey that medical science could not determine she had a medical condition but a demonic possession. Cant tell you anymore than that.

The movie had a "dark" look and was cozy it kept me on the edge of my seat and the way she got possessed and how she looked was way freaky. Good movie and worth to own on DVD!

The Ring Two (2005)

Not as bad as people think it is

First of all I have to say no it is not like the original like the mood of the movie, because it has its own "feel". I have to say I liked this movie because it is unique. This movie and the original are not meant to be scary and I don't know why they are in the horror section it is supposed to be in the suspense/thriller section. The Horror section are meant for the god awful Evil Dead and Leprechaun.

Anyways to move things along this movie kept me on the edge of my seat and I was so waiting to see this movie for like a year. I am glad they got into samara's past and I loved it that they went back to the morgan house for that fact. I like the suspense of things popping out at me in movies. I didn't expect what happened in the ambulance and her in the bathroom so I did jump quite high on that one. One thing I wish they could have touched on was an update on becca, the girl who went crazy in the first movie, and emily in this movie. I would have liked to see things from their point of view. But thats neither her nor there. It still had a creepy feel and if you really know and paid attention to the first one you can get into this one. I am not saying its Oscar winning caliber but its not bad. Definitely a must see. Everyone has different opinions and are entitled to it. But give it a chance before resorting to other peoples opinions like professional critics.

Problems with the negativity of this movie

First of all who said it was a horror movie? Are you basing that off of what the Japanese consider horror movies? Because this was a psychological thriller. Horror movie is like the Jason/Freddy crapola.

This is one of the main reasons people thought the movie was stupid cause they are expecting someone to be killed every 5 minutes. I saw Ringu and I didnt think it was that great but I have seen worse and I have seen better. You also cant determine that it was a bite off of Sixth Sense since Ringu was made before Sixth Sense.

The Ring was much better than Ringu. I liked the dark gloomy weather of Washington. It was much cozier than Ringu. The actors were much better!!

I give this a 9/10 because I dont like the finger through the nail part....ick

This has GOT to be one of the funniest shows ever........this needs to come out on DVD soon. I see so many older shows come out on dvd this needs to be one of those!!!! Martin is one of the funniest shows and I would love to put this on my DVD shelf and share with my friends and family

Trading Spaces (2000– )

I love this show!!!

I saw Changing Rooms and I watched a little bit of it to know I didnt really care for it...I like Trading Spaces...

I dont like Genevieve or Lauries designs cause genevieve looks like she is more interested in hookin up with the men and some of her thinking is way out...Laurie does the same old thing, brown and orange and yellow, too boring for me. I just like watching it to see if the people are going to hate it or what....

One thing though the designers should be there at the end when someone doesnt like it. What if they dont like it who gives the money to fix it up!

I have never seen the original so I can't comment on that and whether or not this was a good remake and honestly I don't really care about that. What I can tell you is this movie is wonderful...it is a very good story along with great acting...I heard they were making a sequel or prequel about Samara's life beforehand or something like that...which is cool..but I hope they don't butcher it like Blair Witch 2 (which wasn't real bad..I have seen worse..just if you got a hit on your hands don't screw up the sequel). The scariest movie in 2002 is what I give it and hopefully they will get nominated and/or win awards for this cause it was great!! If you beg to differ then remember we have opinions don't try to force reason and whatever on me it is entertainment it is called a movie...it is not real...get over it!

This movie reminds me of The Ring gone bad. Actually I have seen worse(Event Horizon)and this is kinda up on the scale. It was interesting in the beginning but people come on if you know that after logging into a website in 48 hours you die and it isn't you just keel over and thats it, it is a horrible death WHY WOULD YOU DO IT? I know at times people are curious and want to know what will happen but I am not curious when I possibly might die.

The Ann Jillian Story (1988 TV Movie)

This movie was excellent. It kept me interested in a fantastic, beautiful family who comes together at Ann Jillian's side. This is a beautiful picture of Love, Courage, and Determination! I have had people in my family with cancer and it is a great portrayal of this situation.

Frequency (2000)

This wasn't Emmy/Oscar/Academy Awards winner but it was good.

Regardless of it imitating Twilight Zone (Poltergeist did as well)it was not nonsense. I thought it was very sweet and it kept my attention.

Commando (1985)

Did we see the same Commando? This movie is proved to be more hilarious than serious! Commando Absolute Perfection I think not. Maybe perfection to be laughing the whole time! Just check out the goofs page on this site. This movie makes my sides hurt from laughing!
