Undercover Holiday (2022)
RELEVANT & TOUCHING!!!
Wow, I don't get all the "bad love" for this lovely movie! The cast is SPLENDID and it's a touching Christmas holiday story that speaks to us about being courageous enough to get out of "life's box" and be strong enough to stake our own claim, be ourselves, & find success on our own terms; these are huge themes in my own life now, so I found it powerfully relevant! Also, this movie is about learning to open ourselves to the kindness & goodness around us, as well as learning to change & adjust to get the most from life, as Matt did so well with Jaylen and her whole family!!! BRAVO this film!!!!
Tortilla Soup (2001)

WOWWWW!!....
An exceptionally MOVING film; a powerfully rare story on sooo many levels. Tyler Perry is genius!
The Bernie Mac Show: The Other Sister (2003)
What about Auntie Wanda?!!
Funny as hell, LMAO!!!.... Ol' Jordan gets transfixed by, & fixated on, Auntie Bonita's "cans", just as a young kid would, haaa!!... Question is, WHYY would he not have done it much sooner, considering too~hot Auntie Wanda has an even more luscious "rack" that she shows off each & every show???!! Kinda doesn't make sense~still a great episode anyway! :)))))
All in the Family: Mike's Hippie Friends Come to Visit (1971)
A MASTER STROKE
Arguably the BEST episode of the whole series, for me! Few, if any, of other sitcoms or other shows so cleverly, and humorously, portray the searing cultural, generational & social divisions wrought by our Vietnam Agression and accompanying corrupt abuse of public trust. So near the 50th anniversary of 704 Hauser Street, we must reaffirm All in the Family's treasured place in US popular culture & TV history, reminding ourselves of the timeless lessons it teaches us yet today~and now, more than ever!
In the Heat of the Night: Bubba's Baby (1990)
BUBBA'S 👶🏻👼?!!!
One of THEEE BEST episodes in the whole series~ "riveting"!! Love it👏👏👏👏
Soul Plane (2004)
WTF y'all?!!!!
WHYYYY all the bad love up in here ?!!.... Soul Plane's "FATTTTT" & we NEED more seriously funnyyyy movies like it!!!
Madea's Big Happy Family (2011)
MADEA'S UNDERRATED
Absolutely LOVE all the Madea series: totally relevant, "bottomlessly"~deep, bluntly instructive, and LMAO~hilarious!!!..... Don't understand all the consistent "bad love" reviews for these Tyler Perry masterpieces, as he & all the cast members ROCKKK!!! Wish there could be many more made, in years to come!! Long~live Tyler Perry.....AND Madea :))))
LBJ (2016)
A WHITEWASH :"((
I truly love Woody & Rob Reiner, but I'm dumbfounded as to why they felt the need to make a movie that coddles to elitist, mainstream history & whitewashes a man who was a criminal liar, ultimately responsible for dragging our country through aggression & genocide in Vietnam~ something we have yet to, and may never, fully recover from as a nation. Makes me sick that Johnson went to his grave never having to face responsibility for his crimes~ but who knows, maybe what conscience he had became so burdened that, in the end, he simply couldn't live with himself. Good riddance LBJ!
