Camp Slaughter (2004)
This is pure exploitation
I've never seen anything like this in a swedish cinema. But I can know guess how it was during the sixties- and seventies!
I'm not sure how to describe this one, but it's a morbid black comedy/horror (or at least trying to)/slasher/trash/exploitation...something!
Not everybody's cup of tea, but I liked in some kinda weird way!
Konspiration 68 (1968)
The best swedish movie ever made!
This is possibly the best Swedish movie ever made. At least of what I´ve seen during my short life. It´s some kind of a docudrama, shot in black and white and with sound (the director, Sjöblom, is famous for only doing silent movies) and is a very sharp satire of how the Swedish politics worked in the late sixties! I want this in my collection, but it´s impossible to find.
The Ninja Spirit Project (1999)
My God!
This must be the f**king worst Blair Witch-spoof ever made! Of course shot on video and mostly in the woods somewhere in Sweden, but instead of filmstudents, there are ninjas that have lost themselves in the woods! How bizarre! The run around, talking fake-japanese language, fighting very badly and the ending (SPOILER) with the appearence of a toy (?) moose is very, very strange. So bad it´s funny!
It Came from Outer Space... and Stuff (1999)
quite good
not a masterpiece, but entertaining and cheesy. the acting are mostly bad, but some of the characters are great and also some of the special effects. it´s quite gory to (exploding heads and stomaches). it´s obvious a tribute to old american sci-fi movies from the fifties, and it works very well. recommended.
