Absolutely brilliant show, the effort from casting, acting & story line is outstanding. Needs a season 8 to finish.

100% recommended.

Lack of Stamina

Starts off great, I really enjoyed watching series 1,2 & 3, however the story soon becomes monotonous and predictable and simply more of the same. Nudity in the first few seasons is a bit ott but this subsides after season 4. Had massive potential but poor writing has killed it, well for me anyway.

Fear the Dead Slow/Show
9 October 2019
Season 1 was quite decent and had me intrigued. Season 2 to 4 are just about watchable, however season 5 starts of so painfully slow and boring I have given up on episode 5, I just can't bare any more of the "waiting for something to entertain me" For me shows should start on the front foot and keep on moving at a decent pace, this is just rediculously dragged. I'm out!

Amazing TV show, only second to GOT
12 September 2018
Amazing show with brilliant direction. Rick Grimes and crew will entertain you. Do not give up on it after only a few episodes as it is impossible to learn about the individuals. In the early part of season 6 the show does start getting a little boring, slow and predictable but you must persever as it dramatically improves. Only Game of Thrones is better in my opinion. Definitely worth your time.

Different & Enjoyable
17 June 2012
Mixed reviews about this movie, but the people who gave this movie a 1 out of 10 simply have no emotion or cannot connect with the movie, The movie sends us all a very important message, "Don't take anything for granted". Eddie Murphy for me was brilliant, the story was a little unrealistic but delightfully different, which pleased me as i am sick of seeing the same old all the time. Actually quite touching in parts and enjoyable with a touch of laughter, which for me is always a perfect combination. Best movie Eddie has done for some time for me.

Enjoyable and worth the watch !

The Dictator (2012)

"It's not the good old Borat days"
18 May 2012
I have been a fan of Sacha Baron Cohen since his Ali G days, However for me The Dictator was by far his worst performance to date, i went to see the first showing of this movie as soon as it was on at the Cinema and remembering the days of Borat where i almost choked several times on wine gums as i was laughing out loud a lot, as was most of the cinema, So on expecting something similar i decided to avoid sweets, but no, i should of took my Wine Gums, as the Cinema was more than half full and laughter was not a common emotion. The Dictator for me and i would say most the Cinema that day simply failed to deliver little humour what so ever, it was mostly idiotic that just didn't hit home for me, there was a few brief moments where a laughed a little, but even knowing not to take Sacha serious i just couldn't get to grips with The Dicatator and was very disappointed with the movie, i'm just glad it was a Orange Wednesday and that i got into the Movies 2 for 1.

4/10 just wasn't that funny, but i did stay to the end and watched all the movie, but that was mostly hoping that it was going to dramatically improve. Wait for the DVD!

Don't get your hopes up!!
5 June 2011
One word, DREADFUL!! Never have i felt so let down watching a movie, maybe i was just to hyped up so its easy to get disappointed, but no, it was just that poor? The acting was ridiculous, as was almost everything else in the movie.

Cant believe i wasted money and time watching this, one or two good moments where you start to believe things are going to get better, but guess what, they don't.

They could of made this an all time classic with a bit of real effort.

Same as 80% of all remakes, rubbish.

Boring
31 October 2010
I went to the movies really looking forward to seeing this movie, and i cannot find the words to describe how disappointed i was. Looking at the cast the movie should of been a legendary action packed comedy, but i couldn't of been more wrong. Mark Wahlberg looked out of place, comedy is not his forte. Will Farrell gives his best as always. The humour of the movie is just not funny at all, there was one or two very short moments where i actually chuckled. The film dragged on and on and was a complete waste of my time. Was it the timeless comedy i thought it was going to be? Certainly not.

4/10 since it made me laugh a few times.

Knowing (2009)

Where did it all go wrong?
4 July 2009
** May Contain Spoilers **

Where did it all go wrong? Well i'll tell you.

I have mixed emotions about Knowing, the movie itself was fairly intriguing and for most of it and it seemed mature, until the last 20-30 minutes, when it all becomes a bit fairy tail like. Alex Proyas has created an ending that is sure to split audiences into groups of you will love it or you will hate it, a bit like Marmite.

Science fiction fans will feel frauded, disaster movie fans will love about 15 minutes of screen time and maybe fall asleep for the rest.

Nicolas Cage does it again though, he seems to play these type of characters very well, as he does in most of the time, seemed to remind me a lot of the character he played in the movie Next, i have no idea why.

Shame they didn't "know" the ending to this movie was going to fail.

Decent Movie.....Stupid Ending!! Could of been so much better.

Simply, WOW !

This movie is one of the best films i have ever watched by far. The direction of the film along with the acting was simply world class. It's an emotional roller-coaster. Yes it is slow, yes it gets a little boring, but whilst your watching the movie your always taking in the story line and my does the movie make up for it in the last 30 minutes when the jigsaw is put together and the full plot is revealed. I think this movie is actually better than The Pursuit Of Happiness which most will know was also a very good film. Will Smith, Rosario Dawson, Woody Harrelson, Michael Ealy and Barry Pepper all deserve awards with there 10 out of 10 performances. This movie for me is a must see, i am still actually getting over the film as it quite simply blew me away.

10/10 easy

Absolute master piece from the Coen brothers.

Absolute master piece from the Coen brothers.A lot of people told me about this movie and some it was brilliant some said it was to slow, down to personal preference obviously but i never really fancied myself to be honest.Anyway one night i was bored so i decided to rent this film from my local shop, and i am glad i did. The movie itself is a bit slow, but gripping, you wont want to leave your couch until you see what happens next. I don't really have a bad thing to say about this movie and i enjoyed it from start to finish, the acting was superb along with the plot of the film. This movie is definitely worth the watch and would recommend you do. The Coen brothers don't know how to make a bad film, 9/10.

This is a movie not to be missed.
