Being Human: Damage (2010)
Fangstastic stuff
Personally, I love the darker stuff and this episode doesn't disappoint! From Mitchell and Daisy's rampage through the train (look out for the iPod on the disembowelled passenger) to George's untimely change (fans of "Mitchell & Webb" will recognise the "Sir Digby-Chicken-Caesar" sequence!) it's great stuff. Aidan Turner gets to spend more time in bed with Amy Manson (sort of a repeat of "Desperate Romantics" - but with blood).
And it's full of delightful details for the careful watcher... The aforementioned iPod. Mitchell using a magazine "perfume patch" to make his armpits less offensive. Lucy has a personalised Garfield mug. (as to why the set dressers bother with this level of detail, I don't know - I just love it that they do, it reminds me of The X-Files!)
All in all - fangtastic!

Outnumbered (2007)
Love it, but...
"hindquarters", Karen's impersonation in s2 was of Huw Edwards, but "Dad" thought it was Fiona Bruce...
I tried to get SWMBO to watch s1 but it wasn't until she heard our boys howling with laughter when S2 was on that she decided to try it. She's now hooked - and would have loved a little girl like Karen (I'm not so sure I could cope!)
Highlights for me are the last scenes of s2e1 and the "mouse funeral".
I'm not certain that all the kids would be available in future years while they are at school, so a third series may be too much to hope for. A similar situation occurred with "Maria" from the "Sarah Jane Adventures", but perhaps a few "specials" at Xmas and Easter will keep us all happy.

Only Connect (2008)
Completely mind-boggling quiz show
If you like QI, you'll love this. Low key presentation (no audience, no SFX) and very very very difficult questions. As an example of the sort of thing you'll be presented with, contestants were asked to provide the fourth word in the following sequences, readers are invited to try for themselves! Wheat, Set, Cease,??? or Thorn, Shout, Seat,??? The question mistress, Victoria Coren, probably took the whole series getting used to how to present the series but by the last show was at last getting her delivery right. For example, one question involved the pawning of an item by the British Monarchy to pay for a war against France. Ms Coren's comment? "Money well spent"!
