Talaash (2012)
Amazing movie by itself, but could have been a masterpiece...!!
Talaash!!!
General: OK, where do I begin. To start off, the movie is very intriguing, thrilling and keeps you glued to your seats screen right till the end. The movie doesn't lose it's pace for even the shortest time and will keep you guessing as to what is going to happen. The movie starts off with the story right away and cuts to the chase, without wandering too much on what isn't significant to the main plot. The main aim of the movie is to keep the thrill throughout the movie and manages to do exactly that.
You may be able to predict the story to some extent, but then that won't ruin the experience. Personally, I felt, the ending could have been better, and was a bit of a let down as far as my expectations are concerned. All in all, a wonderful thriller / suspense movie experience with some minor plot holes.
Acting: Now, coming to the acting part, Aamir Khan does a very good job, exactly what is expected from him. Kareena was as usual, good but not exceptional (maybe that was exactly what the role required). Stand-out actor (for me) has to be Rani Mukerji, who plays a grief- stricken mother, very well. All the other supporting actors also do their part very well, not over-acting, and playing the characters exactly as required. Special praise, for Nawazuddin Siddiqui (Temur), who is proving to be quite the actor, after powerful roles in Kahaani, Gangs of Wasseypur and now, Talaash.
Story line: Well, its better to know nothing about the story, and go to the theater and have a whole new experience. Story / suspense wise it does have similarities with other thriller movies, but then again it's better not to name them.
Music: Music blends very well with the story, and is exactly what the situations require. The songs "Muskaanein jhooti hain" and "Jee le zara" are sure to stay on your mind for a long time even after the movie. The songs are perfectly timed during the movie, and don't feel like a squeeze-in.
All in all, its a worth watch movie, you may or may not like it, but the movie won't bore you, that's for sure... Enjoy !

Community: Remedial Chaos Theory (2011)
What a genre..!! Thriller, Suspense & Comedy.
What an episode! Mindblowing! The 20 minutes of this episode gives a tough competition to even the best sci-fi movies. This episode not only kept me involved till the end, but also making me laugh a lot. Probably one among the best episodes of this show, or of any show for that matter. Glad that this show isn't degrading after extremely positive reviews of the first 2 seasons. The show just keeps getting better and better. The writing certainly hasn't dried up and even the acting is spot-on! Troy & Abed FTW !
Comedy wise - As usual what you expect from a Community episode. Plot and entertainment wise - AMAZING !!!
Rating - 10/10 !
3 Idiots (2009)
Rajkumar Hirani creates a Masterpiece !!!
Well to start off, 3 idiots itself starts of brilliantly by introducing Farhan Qureshi (Madhavan) and Raju Rastogi (Sharman Joshi). Boman Irani is once again at his best playing the Principal of the college Viru Sahastra Buddhe (VIRUS).
Both of those friends are informed that their dearest friend Ranchoddas Chanchad (Aamir Khan) is returning. Shocked by the sudden disappearance long ago, both these friends come to the place where they have been called for, desperate to meet their Best Friend. But something else is waiting for them at that place.
The movie has been wonderfully directed with scenes continuously revolving around the past and present at perfect intervals of time. The story revolves on how Ranchoddas witnesses the scenes of depression and sadness among students who are often dejected due to lack of scoring grades and supporting family pressures. In the mid time, Ranchoddas falls in love with the Principal's daughter Pia (kareena kapoor) very fine acting by her too.
Well, not revealing anything more, the three characters have been wonderfully played by Madhavan, Sharman and Aamir. The movie has loads of comedy at many times but also delivers a strong and subtle message to all its viewers. Even the supporting characters have done their role exceptionally well which adds more to the fun quotient. All credits go to Rajkumar Hirani and Abhijit Joshi for plotting this script and directing it perfectly.
The music can be rated 10/10 as it creates such a high emotion while watching the movie. Well to round it up, get a ticket for yourself now, no matter how high the price is !!! You ll definitely enjoy the movie though it turns out to be lengthy. (2 hours 50 minutes).
Watch it now. It is a total family entertainer. Enjoyable for all ages. A Blockbuster soon to be.
Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi (2008)
Its Worth a watch
I don't know where my comment will land up in this big ocean of comments, still here's my opinion on the movie. The movie is a very lengthy one and has been dragged a bit too much in the start-middle scenes. But it is a pleasurable and joyful ride in the life of Mr. Surinder Sani whose character has been played magnificently by Shahrukh Khan.
The simple yet enjoyable character has been explored to its full extent. The story though does not turn out to be very great and gets predictable many-a-times during the movie. Anoushka Sharma's role didn't require much of great acting but she too does well for a first-timer. Stupidish attitude of Raj (also played by shahrukh) is also very funny at times.
Surinder and Bobby's talks in the movie were funny. But in the end, its the story that spoils the fun. The music complements the movie very well. Its a one time watch for sure. So get some popcorn and play the DVD !!!
