Werewolf Santa (2023)
A Christmas Cracker!
Had so much fun with this one. Even on its limited means it generates a lot of Christmas cheer and some fun scares, alongside an unexpected family drama! The premise is a knockout!
We meet Lucy who is a monster Hunter who with her family sets off the kill a werewolf Santa with the hope of restoring the Christmas spirit but are terrified by killing Santa they could also kill Christmas spirit forever. It's like we fell asleep in a family Christmas movie and are having a strange nightmare. This movie is that nightmare with a real werewolf inside a ghost train on Xmas eve and a dogging scene where people's private's are very much up for grabs by the Santa werewolf.
Lots of fun if slightly silly midnight fun. A good alternative bit of Christmas viewing.
Midnight Peepshow (2022)
A show you don't want to miss
A clever plot, dark story with a few twists and very atmospheric. I like the shots around the Soho backstreets and homage to the old peepshows. Four very talented directors giving something for everyone and a nice touch with the legend Zach Galligan being involved. There was also great humour at times giving a nice balance. I enjoyed the acting, especially from the lead role and her journey through the film. It's a good length packing a lot in, in a short time keeping everything moving at a fast pace. Finally the cinematography was excellent really driving the look and feel of the film. I'm looking forward to seeing more work from these directors in the future and really enjoyed it!
