Too many characters with weird flaws and the main character just too unbelievable at times, especially with the freedom she has to meet and roam after the kind of crime she has committed. Not an easy series to watch at times, however it always ends in a bit of a cliffhanger or a poser to get you to watch the next episode. Episode 7, I watched in fast mode as it slowly drew to and end. It's well acted and well made but a little too disturbed for me.

If you don't watch this because you question the science then you probably won't read HG Wells or Jules Verne or John Wyndham and you would miss out on great works of science fiction.
This show tries to entertain you and for me personally I am very happy with both the characters and the overall message.
For instance, Episode 12 was just great entertainment and kept me on the edge of my seat.
Even when an episode is not that exciting, the characters and their stories are. I like all the characters and that doesn't happen often in a show.
So if you get past the first few episodes I reckon you will watch them all as it just gets better and better, plus I imagine they will get many more seasons and it will have even more crazy science scenarios - I'm convinced H.G. Wells would have love this show. Thanks to all concerned.

Spader is rather good and the show is quite good to watch. They definitely have money to burn and they are burning it It hasn't got me yet but I will give the next episodes a chance to win me over. The story is a little too unbelievable and it looks like the main characters are connected somehow and I hope it's not because he's her father - that would be just daft.
The kidnapping scene was hard to swallow as well as a few other twists. The bomb defuse guy was another crazy character and I suppose making the FBI out to be so dumb compared to the main character is also annoying.
So early days but the acting was good way better than the plot. I haven't seen Spader in much in recent years so it was a great choice for the show.

It kept me wanting more and I cared about the characters. It always amazes me how they get these productions to look so authentic. I will certainly recommend it to my friends. I gave it a 10 because it kept me engrossed and I couldn't wait for the next episode.
It's violent, contains scenes of torture and mutilation though you don't actually see it. So it handles this part well as I am amazed that the current 24 (9) shows Jack brutally torturing someone - it has gone OTT as far as I'm concerned. This show deals with it correctly as it needs to be in it to tell the story.
So I highly recommend it.

Used to love this show but it has really slipped down the slippery slope heading for extinction.
The 3 wives are awful now and the crazy story lines in Series 4 just make me cringe.
Even the action stories are becoming ridiculous - 3 unit members are 3 scientists turning cocaine into paint for the outside of jets and then converting it back - and all in a day or two - just ridiculous - and the baddies are just getting thicker and thicker - they believe any story and run conveniently into their bullet-fire.
I want it to get better but after 4 episodes I must abort. Good show initially but the scriptwriters need lynching.
