Brilliant!
13 April 2010
Probably one of the most brilliant and well made documentaries ever that can weave a web over the viewer. That is of course based on the assumption that the target audience comprised of idiots, with high levels of ignorance, low intelligence, and a general arrogance. If not, then the documentary is an abysmal failure and does not classify as one, and the makers of the documentary should probably be flogged and crucified. It does more discredit to the subject it seeks to promote than any opposing view could do. It's either one of these choices, so take your pick: are you an idiot who likes this garbage, or are the filmmakers retards to treat you like idiots?

An unpretentious movie, that manages an incompatible match.
11 April 2010
I wasn't sure what to expect out of the movie, and with the name being what it is, figured on a half baked comedy imitation of the American Pie genre, with crude jokes and a lot of vulgarity. It quite naturally surpassed those abysmally low expectations. If you're not too uptight and puritanical (or pretentious), you'll be able to look past the aspects you don't personally like, and maybe appreciate the humor and honesty in this film. The triumph of the movie is however not in its humor. I've seen plenty of movies that are a lot funnier, but the filmmaker actually managed to work in a perfect blend of romance, comedy, and porn. A sleazy movie that actually makes you go 'awwwww.....'That I believe is an achievement, on account of which you can overlook the flaws, that include the movie being quite predictable in terms of the direction of the storyline.

Provocative and Enlightening!
18 March 2010
Constantine's Sword may seem weak and unprovocative, when compared to some other documentaries along the same lines, but that's what makes it so powerful. It's just as provocative and hard hitting as any of the others, if not more, but it is a lot more subtle. At first viewing, and while you're watching it you may find yourself wondering why the narrator doesn't launch in on the attack, but by the end of the movie, or rather after, you're done, you'll realize how damning it is in it's simple revelations. And that's it's strength - simple facts and revelations, not allegations or ridicule. It's the kind of documentary that anyone can sit through, but not one that can be forgotten or dismissed very easily. Sure, Catholics may be skilled at dismissing and ignoring unpleasant issues that concern them, but those with a conscience will not be able to ignore the guilt of association that these facts cast on them.
