The Abominable Dr. Phibes (1971)
Vincent Price at his creepy best.
I was 8 years old in 1971, when I first saw this film at the Drive-in. I have since seen this 100+ times and am currently watching it. Obviously, it is my favorite horror film. This film introduced me to black/dark comedy in a horror film and I have been hooked ever since. As cheesy as this film may be, it is the finest cheese. To be savored. The rating doesn't go to 11, but it should.
NCIS: Hawai'i (2021)
I've seen worse!
Thought I would give this new show a try. My first thought after seeing this first episode is that it's just like NCIS:New Orleans, but in a tropical setting. The characters have been recycled. I liked NCIS NOLA, I was sad to see it end. This isn't up to par with the other shows. I will pass on any more episodes. There's too much to watch as it is anyway.
Once Upon a Time in... Hollywood (2019)
Tarantino Rocks!
I am a fan of everything Tarantino. This film is his latest. I was never much of a Brad Pitt fan but his role in this movie has changed that. This is my favorite Brad Pitt movie. I love his character and his dog. Okay, the other guy is pretty good too. Lol. Can't wait to see this again.
Lodge 49 (2018)
I Love This Show
I started watching Lodge 49 because of it's time slot associated with Better Call Saul. Thought I'd give it a shot. I was hooked after the first episode. I can't even really explain why. I fell in love with all of the characters, especially Liz (Sonya Cassidy). But I have a soft spot for crazy brunettes. After 10 episodes I was left wanting more. I've read that we'll get another season. I'm so happy. I can't wait.
Cynthia (2018)
Throwback to 80's Campy Horror
When I found out that Corpsy (Robert Rhine) was making a horror film, I was excited. Cynthia is pretty much everything I was expecting, and then some. It was funny, it was gory, it was disgusting, it was awesome. And then there's Cynthia. What a sweet baby. Lol. As another reviewer said, pregnant women should not watch this movie. One of my favorite scenes in the movie is Bill Moseley's. OMG. When you see it, you'll know what I'm talking about. It was great to see him, Sid Haig and James Karen.
