About a Boy (2002)

I put this movie on my "don't want to see again list." I would rather watch teletubbies for two hours while standing on my head. I suppose that I just enjoy movies that move a little faster (i.e. a PBS documentary, Watching grass grow with Gary, and then there is always the old favorite, Planetary Movement in Real Time, etc. LOL) Sorry to not agree with all of you who like it, but everyone to their own taste I suppose.

I kept watching this movie waiting for it to actually get into the movie, but it kept dragging:( Willem Dafoe was the only good thing about this movie. I have no idea why he agreed to play the part though. Maybe it looked better on the script.

Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within (2001)

Excellent animation, but openly new age and a stupid plot

I watched this film to see the computer animation, but even thought the animation is excellent, the plot totally turned me off. I have seen some films that have a thin covering on their new age beliefs, but this was kind of "in your face" with it. "Gia"? give me a break, that name has been around for ages. I have heard it quite often in context with the new age religion. I would rather watch a movie that at least pretends to be non partial. 1 out of 10 stars (do they have a zero;)

Hard Time on Planet Earth (1989)

Very funny, a good show

This was such a great show that I watched when I was little. I didn't miss an episode! I wish that there were shows like that still on today instead of all these "reality shows." I have a few of the episodes recorded off of TV when the show was still playing so I still watch them. I wish that I could find all of the episodes.

Ring of Bright Water (1969)

A terrible movie, I would not watch it again

This has to be one of the all time dumb movies. I think that it had a plot, but I'm not sure what it was. I kept waiting for the movie to stop dragging and get into the plot, it never happened. It did have some good wildlife photography, but that by no means made up for the rest of the movie. My apologies to the makers of this movie, these are just my opinions.
