James Franco's Phoenix documentary - TOTALLY AWESOME
28 October 2015
I was extremely crazy in love with River Phoenix (RIP) when I was younger and I still welcome everything about him now, more than 20 years after his tragic death.

Furthermore, I never thought, I would be able to watch this amazing documentary.

So, to my surprise, I just had the great opportunity to watch this brilliant documentary by the extremely talented James Franco and high praise also to Gus Van Sant for providing footage of the original title My Own Private Idaho (everyone should also check out that classic movie which should have gained some Oscars).

Oh, I watched this via YouTube, so not sure how long this documentary will stay up and how the person who loaded this onto YouTube got hold of this full documentary but very grateful.

Anyway, this documentary is just WOW, Franco truly respects River Phoenix and it shows, everything was just perfect.

I have to be honest, this reminded me more of a film than a documentary but remembering how awesome River Phoenix was as an actor, is just something so very special; especially, since all this came from pooled never before deleted footage.

I mean all this footage from this documentary could easily have gone into the original movie, might have been slightly different but still, what quality work from all cast members that I saw.

It was nice to see Keanu Reeves, who is in this documentary quite a lot (not in every single seen) but enough to please his fans, not sure what the previous reviewer was talking about? Also, this documentary is to showcase River Phoenix and his talents, so no one should be surprised that the focus is on him more hence the title of this documentary.

Hopefully, everyone will get the opportunity to see this excellent documentary on the big screen sometime soon.

However, I sincerely understand perfectly well, why it would be extremely difficult for the Phoenix family to change their minds again from what I have read and say no, as well as the distribution company of the original movie.

The original movie will always be there nothing can take that classic away and importantly this documentary only adds respectfulness to his legacy (his family would not need to worry but I am sure still difficult to experience), plus everyone knows James Franco is a huge fan of his and the involvement of Gus Van Sant, helps to demonstrate why River Phoenix was one of the best actors of his generation and if only he could have gone on to do much much more.

Anyway, this documentary will make you cry due to the sensitive nature of River Phoenix powerful performance (the whole cast = powerful) and of course the tragic loss of him so soon after the original movie was completed but if you do get to see this outstanding documentary (I feel very lucky) then do so, a must for Phoenix fans and thank you very much James Franco for undertaking such a documentary, he will never be forgotten (I knew I liked Franco for a reason - quality director/actor).

True Story (I) (2015)
10/10
Oscar Winning Performance By James Franco and a Classic (Underrated of 2015)
25 July 2015
Warning: Spoilers
****** SPOILER ALERT INCLUDED *********

Firstly, words can not express my deep sadness that this is based on a true story hence the title "True Story" and based on the book by Michael Finkel.

Also, spoiler alert: How on earth can the real Christian Longo still be alive after killing four innocent people (RIP) and getting famous via a book, film and writing articles etc. for other media outlets.

The saying "Life Isn't Fair" truly applies, but only God knows the answers and why? None, of us know how our life will start and end (this guy sickens me to the core).

The film itself, everyone played their roles brilliantly. I was extremely impressed with Jonah Hill's performance as Mike, very very strong. He gets better each time I see him and Felicity Jones had a small role but nailed it.

Before, we get to Franco's Oscar winning performance, whom I'm a huge fan off (gosh was he creepy in this film or what and would have made the ideal Joker for DC), there was some clarifications that other reviews have mentioned that I thought I should address:

1. Why was the film called "True Story", it's a boring title for the film? Well, as I mentioned previously, it's based on a book called "True Story" by Michael Finkel, plus within the film itself Mike mentions that he was thinking of calling it "True Story".

2. The writing/pacing was poor - in my opinion the writing/pacing of the film was just perfect, this is based upon again, on a true story, they couldn't go too over the top, it's not a blockbuster film and I liked the uniqueness of how it was handled.

Also, the real Mike viewed this film once completed and stated, it did the book justice and both Hill and Franco magnificently nailed their characters. In fact, Franco appeared spot on throughout, in particular the Court Trial scene that it generally frightened him and he was indeed part of the production, actually part of that particular scene in the film and it only apparently took one take to achieve as the director also confirmed.

I have to take his word on this than the critics hating on this excellent film, who I feel always have an agenda for Franco's films etc. to fail and by reading most of their reviews have never probably read the book in the first place or undergone a background story check.

Note: I see a lot of positive reviews haven't been added to Rotten Tomatoes also (always with a Franco film).

3. Some, have claimed it was too dull or had no big surprises, especially no kick-ass ending etc. I repeat, it is based on a true story, what do you mean it was dull? The murders were extremely gruesome and unfortunately very real to see and even, if you didn't know the back story behind this film, seeing the child in the case with the teddy bear at the start of the film and the Court Trial photo's, plus the creepiness and calmness of how Chris was played, basically, not knowing whether he was telling the truth or not kept me seriously hooked.

Especially, the desperation of Mike to believe him at first (seriously, what type of man still keeps in touch with a killer = greed) and that "Wink" what an evil so and so. By the way, the "Wink" is also clearly explained in the film, not sure why some people don't understand the meaning and was a big enough surprise for me, as well as many others, which was very small but important moments to drive the film forward.

As, for the kick-ass ending that some wanted. It was demonstrated perfectly, I think any sane person would wish the real Chris would disappear of the face of this earth but I repeat again it was based on real life events, so I don't see a problem (it was exciting enough). If they went over dramatic with the ending some people would still complain that they called the film true story but the ending was false.

Every crime drama or film noir thriller can't be the same, I liked this was different.

4. Rip-off of books/films Primal Fear, The Silence of the Lambs, Seven, A Few Good Men (the Court Trial scene as in Franco's performance was as strong as re Jack Nicholson in that film) and in particular In Cold Blood etc. I repeat again, this is a "True Story" based on "FACTS THAT HAPPENED" and people died, so it's not a rip-off of the films that I mentioned, but as a sick and masterful classic told on film as them.

Franco's performance was extraordinary to witness, one of his best performances ever that he has played (and we know James Dean, Pineapple Express, Milk, Howl, 127 Hours and Spring Breakers etc. are already classics).

Hands down, truly deserving of many awards for this performance alone (I hear, I Am Michael film is pretty special also by Franco), especially, in my opinion an overdue Oscar win.

He had me feeling sorry for him, hating him, and many other emotions (real nightmare performance and a classic). This movie no matter what the initial critical response is and box office numbers are will become a classic and Rupert Goold as a first time director and his team undertook this task brilliantly (only wish there wasn't real victims involved makes emotions even more mixed).

A must watch for true crime and film noir lovers (not suitable for children).

Child of God (2013)
10/10
James Franco's Child of God is Oscar-Worthy (Yep, I went there)
31 August 2014
YYYYYYYYYYyyyyyyyyyyyyyeeEEEEEEEEEEEEeessssSSSSSSSSsss, I finally watched it (REPEAT, watched it, watched it - suggest EVERYONE RUN to watch it VERY SOON as it will become another CLASSIC of Franco's).

NOVEL - READ OR NOT TO READ FIRST:

OOOOOOOOOOOOOhhhhhhhhhhhhhh WWWWWWOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWWW!I'm a huge fan of Franco's anyway (in my opinion, one of the best actors of his generation and a wonderful unique director), and maybe, I'm a little bit biased at times when it comes to James Franco BUT and a VERY SERIOUS BUT after, reading sometime ago the brilliantly NASTY Southern Gothic novel (I mean come on necrophilia and murder - seriously don't try anything Lester Ballard does KIDS) by the great Cormac McCarthy (you don't necessary have to read this great novel first BUT it MIGHT truly help ground some audience members perspective better in terms of the SHOCK VALUE), this movie indeed NAILED IT (Cormac McCarthy should be PROUD) in terms of what I could remember from the novel including it's TONE in what I wanted to see.

MAIN CHARACTER:

For those who don't know the main focus of the novel/movie is a character called Lester Ballard "dispossessed violent man" with an Oscar winning performance by Scott Haze.

YES, it's all TRUE folks, he DOES indeed give an Oscar winning performance AND a performance that will be remembered for MANY years to come. Simply put, it's just masterful. That three/four months living in caves plus losing some weight to prepare for this role paid off nicely for Scott (WELL DONE).

I truly hope Haze is nominated for an Oscar (A MUST SEE PERFORMANCE, even if you watch this movie only once - watch this movie through to the end, but I think most will watch it more than once, after the initial what the f**k did I just witnessed) as well as Franco (remember, no one has ever tried to adapt this NOVEL and Franco NAILED IT, NNNNNAAAAIIIIIIILLLLLLEEEEEEDDDDD IIIIIIITTTTTTT - yet again).

No wonder, Franco recently WON the Wilde Artist of the Year (honoring a truly groundbreaking force in the fields of film, theatre and/or television) - GALECA AND achieved the Venice Film Festival Glory to the Filmmaker Award for The Sound And The Fury (after watching Child of God - the HYPE went into overdrive to SEE THIS NEXT ONE).

By the way, shout out to Tim Blake Nelson as Sheriff Fate, and Nina Ljeti as Victim 1, they gave great performances.

PARTS:

Anyway, the movie IS split into three parts with clear title cards and I loved the music and the narration which made you understand Ballard's story even better. Again, it totally got the feel of the novel, especially with the cinematography and all the technical aspects.

COMPLAINTS:

I know some folks have questioned Scott Haze teeth of all things in this movie but I personally couldn't take my eyes of his outstanding performance as a whole, so wasn't interested in just focusing on his teeth being maybe too white or not (who truly cares). Also, I'm no expert BUT I saw NOTHING wrong in any areas of problems with the Sound-Mixing, Editing, Colour Grading, etc. IMPORTANT: For the SMALL budget that Franco HAD, which came out of his OWN pocket, I think everyone involved NAILED IT.

Although, it's perfectly understandable that NOT everyone will like this movie as I have mentioned before necrophilia and murder (Yikes NO, NNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO) but it's not the QUALITY of Franco's directing that might put SOME people off (GREAT DIRECTOR), just the subject matters.

CONCLUSION:

I suggest FANS of Franco/McCarthy/Southern Gothic/Horror/LOVE OF GREAT UNIQUE MOVIES or whatever the latest catchy names are for this type of movies, OOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMGGGGGGGGGGG, SEE this low budget BUT excellent masterpiece!

Seriously, thanks Franco and everyONE INVOLVED.

Hours (2013)
10/10
Paul Walker gives an outstanding and honest performance
15 December 2013
I recently watched the brilliant Hours, and to say the great Paul Walker nailed this role is an understatement.

What an honest and sincere portrayal of a desperate grieving father (Nolan Hayes) and the horrors of trying everything possible to ensure that his new born baby daughter (Abigail) survives, whilst on a ventilator machine in a hospital.

It's simply just heart-breaking to watch and again, what a performance by Walker.

All this includes the backdrop of Hurricane Katrina's devastation to add to the tension of this awesome movie. The multiple flashbacks works extremely well to tell the back-story of Nolan's life and it reminded me of movies like 127 Hours.

I have noticed that some critics and fans have complained that the movie is either too long or has some plot holes. I just kept on thinking, the movie although it has a very simple story, covered what it needed too realistically and I didn't personally find any plot holes; plus the time-frame was just perfect.

What a great shame that Paul Walker died recently, because although greatly missed, he should rightly so, be very proud of this movie (and many others that he had done previously), and had so much more to offer as a great actor.

I urge everyone to see this movie as soon as possible - whatever the format for Walker's performance but also, the movie as a whole is genuinely great. Paul Walker for sure will be missed.

William Faulkner would be proud - so faithful to the novel
13 November 2013
Firstly, I'm a huge fan of Faulkner and James Franco. I was so excited to hear that this difficult to read but excellent novel was going to be made into a movie after 80 years that when I first watched it, I just couldn't believe it was so true to the novel.

I mean, this is history in the making as I previously stated no one has ever made this novel into a movie before and more people should be extremely excited and watch it at whatever the format, as it is highly recommended to all, especially students as an additional tool to the novel.

Whether you decide to read the novel in the original covers or the latest version with Franco's face on, which has had some critics and fans of William Faulkner up in arms, the key point to remember is to read the novel, at some point in your lifetime (it's that great); and if Franco happens to bring more attention to Faulkner in terms of people who have never heard of him, then that's 100% positive period.

Seriously though, you don't necessary need to have read the novel to enjoy this excellent movie but it might help.

William Faulkner's Estate: IMPORTANT FACT THAT SHOULD BE NOTED BY THE AUDIENCE - I didn't realise this until I saw this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MVu0EE0qHi4 re Mississippi Premiere of "As I Lay Dying" with Q&A for OFF from oxfordfilmfest.com that the Faulkner Estate was somehow involved and fully supportive with this movie as Lee Caplin - Executor of Faulkner Estate and Producer of this movie confirms.

I urge anyone interested in this movie to watch this video as it answers a lot of the questions you might have, and I'm kind of surprised that it is not on Faulkner's facebook pages in regards to this novel.

Rotten Tomatoes: Please be aware too that there are lots of positive reviews for this movie, but somehow Rotten Tomatoes have chosen not to record this. I suggest anyone who truly appreciates this movie should ensure they record their thoughts on either IMDb, Rotten Tomatoes, Amazon, Faulkner's facebook pages or where they watched it from, if from a website.

Movies like these don't come around often (and we need much more), and for those who appreciate great quality gems like this, it should be recorded and passed on for recommendation.

Split Screen: I noticed that one of the key complaints critics and some audience members have regarding this movie is the split screen. I truly see the beauty in this, it works brilliantly.

Since, I can do two things at once on a general basis, I could follow everything perfectly and it wasn't a distraction that hurt my eyes. To me, it was easy to follow and works extremely well to enhance the novel on to the big screen.

I feel that audience members have now become so lazy and numb with bad story telling or blockbusters, that the slightest change to opening their minds and experiencing something different can prove too difficult at times; especially, if it comes from someone like Franco (who the media constantly tries to tell the audience to hate, because he seems to be on the right track, as in doing his own unique thing but appreciate others like Gosling, Levitt, Fassbender etc.).

In my opinion, Franco will become one of the best directors ever, as well as an acting legend, hence the critics are trying their very best to stop this but in the long run they will fail.

Another movie coming out shortly that will be using split screen is Nymphomaniac, which can be classified as porn (no matter how you dress it up) by Lars von Trier an Oscar nominated director. Now, will Trier get the same kind of treatment as Franco, whether he uses a little or a lot of split screen? I think not. Somehow, the critics will find an angle that's perfect but continue to hate on Franco.

Dialogue: Others have also issued complaints regarding the barely understandable dialogue that came from Tim Blake Nelson as Anse, which I could also understand clearly, and think his performance is Oscar worthy (the whole movie is Oscar worthy). If, I could understand Tom Hardy as Bane in The Dark Knight Rises or Brad Pitt as Mickey O'Neil in Snatch then it was easy for this.

In fact, everyone played their parts perfectly and I particularly loved Franco, Logan Marshall-Green, Danny McBride, and Ahna O'Reilly.

Finally, like the novel it is not for everyone as might prove the movie also. However, Franco and his team have been extremely faithful to the novel, I can't stress this enough, so I was very happy with the final result.

Basically, for those who hate Franco for the sake of it, they had to find something however small to hate on this movie. Not only, did he do justice to an 80 years novel (can't stop repeating this) that has never been filmed before (remember these great directors that the critics so very much admire, but have never had the nerve to attempt this) and in my opinion again, Oscar worthy.

In time, I will guess that this movie will become a classic just like the novel. I suggest you all judge for yourselves very soon (it might need repeat viewing with some to truly understand).

The genius of Korine and Franco = Magic
20 April 2013
This movie was brilliant in breaking down what's fundamentally wrong with our current society in terms of greed and "I WANT IT NOW" culture, in a unique style format.

I've read people complain about too much nudity but if you have ever been to Spring Breakers, it's much much worse, just see Youtube.

Also, has everyone forgotten that to be famous now unfortunately, you basically have to act like a porn star? Real talent is now last on the list, and in any given movie or in real life the aim is to show some skin, whether needed or not.

Example, look at twitter or facebook and the idiots who post naked photo's of themselves, whether famous stars or not, yes - it's wrong, because there is a time and place for everything but Korine just created what's happening now to the extreme and I thought it worked perfectly.

The performances were alright by the four leading ladies, they didn't really have enough to play with in terms of story but the whole movie still worked with the amazing soundtrack.

James Franco deserves an Oscar for his role (such a versatile and method actor), and I hope the Academy finally gets something right, as I feel the role of Alien (inspired by a rapper named Dangeruss mainly, who should be getting much more media attention) will become iconic and should be rewarded.

If you don't know Korine's work before going into this movie, then yes, you will be extremely disappointed or in shock, so best to check out his previous work beforehand but for those who do, then enjoy the ride it works.

Clearly, this movie has already divided people's attention, regarding some saying a classic vs. the worst movie ever or just plain confused.

However, at least Korine has made you slightly think than the normal blockbuster. Try, watching it a second time and breaking it down further, this might help (so many different interpretations you can take away from this movie, if you just open your mind).

Anyway, I truly enjoyed it and will never consider Britney Spears "Everytime" the same way again, that alone deserves the Oscar win for Franco.

Well done, all involved and a cult classic for sure.

Brilliant prequel on its way to becoming a classic also
20 April 2013
Everything about this movie was perfect. James Franco played an awesome Oz and deserved much more respect than he was given by the media, but media seems to have their own agenda when it comes to him anyway.

Also, Mila Kunis and everyone else involved was fantastic too.

I can see myself watching this movie, over and over again at every holiday opportunity.

Oh, importantly in no way shape or form, did this prequel insult the classic The Wizard of Oz but just added to the greatness.

Thank you Sam Raimi for respecting the classic plus L. Frank Baum.

This is a great and powerful family movie and Disney should be proud also.

Yes, a movie that makes you think
30 October 2012
When I first saw the trailer for this movie on YouTube, I like many thought are you joking.

The quality of the trailer was shockingly bad but I was still intrigued because I loved James Franco's work and as well as a welcome return in a leading role by Winona Ryder, since I have been a fan of her work for many years.

Though, as it has already been stated, this movie is not to everyone's taste, but I'm not sure why this movie has such a low rating either? When you actually watch the movie, the quality seems to be alright.

Yes, it has extremely complex levels of dreams by Winona's character (Martine), yet still very much entertaining. I thought the whole cast acted strongly and were great.

It kind of reminded me somewhat of elements of Black Swan, Inception and Francophrenia especially in terms of levels.

Sometimes, people classify movies as bad, if they can't breakdown the story quickly but I still felt the character's were warm.

However, I appreciate a movie that makes you think, and if a repeat viewing is necessary then why not? Anyway, I don't really want to give any spoilers away but I do think more people should view this movie and form their own opinions on the conclusion.

It's actually not the worst movie you could ever see and I enjoyed it but maybe, I'm biased because I love James and Winona. Seriously, it deserves a higher rating.

Just Epic - Apes Rule!
26 August 2011
Rise of the Planet of the Apes is just an Epic movie with strong solid performances from James Franco, he should really get some kind of Best Actor Awards for his performance (such an all round actor, Oscars soon me thinks) too, as it wasn't all about Andy Serkis amazing performance.

Speaking of Andy, when will he get his Oscar for this, surely the time is right now.

Basically, all the cast members should be proud of this movie and no hating, so Thank You! I think the IMDb number should be much higher (What's Going On People?????) and I hope it makes serious money at the box office, this movie actually deserves it - that's extremely rare.

I think I actually, like it better than the original even though that's now a classic (both, so close at times).

If the likes of Transformers 3 can make a billion and more, then again, this movie demonstrates how a movie should be made and on the cheap.

I've watched it 4 times now and going back for more - there's always things you missed, so I say everyone go back and watch again, again (this one is worth it).

Just Epic (it should receive lots of upcoming Awards for sure)!

Awesome Movie - Very Underrated & A Must See
9 May 2011
Let's just say, I'm kind of shocked this is only 6.1 in the ratings.

Reading other people comments, I have noticed that some have said the movie was excellent but they haven't provided a rating score, which might have brought it slightly higher.

Regarding, the negative feedback, what on earth are they watching? Maybe, they should stick to Twilight and light weight popcorn movies as after all this a a dark gritty drama for grown ups. The casting is brilliant with everyone playing their part extremely well.

Yes, I can see why people always go on about James Franco being a junkie in real life especially with performances like this and Pineapple Express (no one does it better but that's what you call great acting).

He basically, went toe to toe with Robert De Niro (who hand picked him after seeing James Franco as James Dean) and came out his equal. Maybe just maybe, Robert De Niro might have passed his succession to James Franco. No wonder, his getting Oscars nominations now etc and only matter of time before he wins a few.

I actually, forgot that I watched this movie when it originally came out. I went to the supermarket recently and purchased a copy as it was very cheap and found a a true gem that I had forgotten. I felt, I had to write a review because I couldn't believe the rating and some of the comments.

I'm not going to breakdown what happens in the story there's enough evidence of that already but wow. If you want amazing acting by all and true essence of what a great drama should be, you might have seen similar formats in the past but was it ever acted as well as this then I suggest you rent or buy it.

I'm so glad, I have this as part of my DVD collection. Not every movie has to have plenty of car chasing, be in 3D, naked ladies etc.

Sometimes, you just need a strong cast to bring a good story home and for me they brought it home plenty. Can't believe this movie didn't get any Oscar nominations. I can be critical like the next person, thinking not another cop drama but seriously can't stress this enough open your mind to solid acting by all cast members and you will be truly surprised.

Own up Fox, it was a mistake to cancel this excellent show
12 September 2010
It's 2010 and I'm still sad this excellent show got cancelled someone needs to be fired for making this wrong decision, if still working for Fox.

Seriously, someone must bring this show back. It's going to be a classic in years to come.

Anyway, what can I say that hasn't been said already.

This show was truly excellent in every department. I'm not going to go into details about the characters in the show etc. Let's just say someone forgot to give Brian Austin Green (Derek Reese) and Summer Glau (Cameron Phillips) their awards i.e. Golden Globes for each season - you still have time.

It's in my head that Derek Reese character should be in any future movie.

Seriously, any future instalments of the movie must include his character i.e Brian Austin Green. I know the movies are slightly different to this excellent TV show but it's ignoring to think I now know Kyle has a brother who is a badass plus I prefer Derek to Kyle in some ways.

Also, Summer Glau performance deserves acknowledgement and she should also star in any future movie. All the characters where brilliant in this show, there's actually nothing to complain about regarding this show, so I'm not going to try except I suggest people buy the DVDs and enjoy. You might find it's better than the last Terminator movie for sure.

Fox you should be ashamed, one of the best TV shows and you let it go, bad move and do the decent thing and bring it back.

Dear John (I) (2010)
10/10
Sensitive, Romantic, Excellent! Recommodation watch again, again!
6 February 2010
Dear John was an excellent movie and I'm so going to watch this again, again.

Firstly, I hope its box office no.1 as I think it deserves to be and stay there for a good few weeks. I'm all for romance especially a good one and don't listen to the critics but judge for yourself, as they don't seem to have a clue when it comes to this movie.

I'm not going to give a background synopsis, just watch this movie.

However, having read the book plus watched Channing Tatum in A Guide To Recognizing Your Saints and Stop Loss, truly amazing performances plus roles that are more recent. I was interested to see how he would play John and I was not disappointed. He was fantastic, solid range = great chemistry with Amanda Seyfried.

Richard Jenkins as John's father outstanding performance give him an Oscar now.

Especially at the hospital with John and everyone was crying buckets. I lost the amount of times I cried but that's how excellent this movie truly was. I don't cry for all romantic movies not even for the Notebook, which was amazing, but I cried for this movie. It was bad as in Michael Jackson bad that means excellent people.

Channing Tatum doesn't get enough credit for his movies but I know with this movie it puts him on another level, whether the critics like it or not his fans old and new have seen a different acting range from him and I loved it.

There are variations from the book which is to be expected as books tends to be played out differently in all movies and I'm smart enough separate the book and this movie. Which is why I enjoyed this movie so much and just thankful that it was given the opportunity to be on the big screen. Whether it's a Nicholas Sparks movie or not it's excellent.

If you hate this movie simply because it's not similar to the book then your mind is very closed and what a shame because you are missing out on an excellent movie which I know the ending is different but that was the point so we could all have a Dear John 2.

Nicholas Sparks always said that if this movie was a huge hit he would make another hence he gave his blessing for the end change. I strongly want to see Dear John 2 so I advice all fans of the book and movie to step up and make sure it's no. 1 which means watching again, again so I can have my Dear John 2.

An excellent movie should not be pushed aside because of the critics or a small amount of haters of the book or movie.

See you all at the movies and appreciate the art of what all actors try to do for us the viewing public.

Go watch this movie it's not disappointing at all in terms of relationships and what you have to sacrifice when you join the army.

I admire anyone who joins the army and thanks for an excellent movie.
