Knives Out (2019)
Any rating below 8 stars is incorrect
This is a well written and acted movie. You will not be disappointed with it if you like good films. Ignore the haters (who no doubt all think The Big Bang Theory is a good TV show).
Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom (2018)
Boring, predictable
Not well made. It follows a similar plot to the first Jurassic World. They litterally repeated scenes from the last movie. Plot line was chaotic. Acting was uninspired. Graphics were pretty good. Only see this film if you are a huge fan of the Jurassic Park series. Otherwise save yourself your hard-earned money.
5/10
Star Wars: Battlefront (2015)
A fine game, but numerous minor flaws take away from the overall product
This is a good multiplayer game. Visually beautiful. Easy to learn. Fun to play. The maps and weaponry fit numerous playstyles. The heroes and villains are also fun to play. With the addition of the DLCs this game will not become boring.
This game does have flaws however. The hero units are extremely overpowered against infantry. If there is a hero coming your way, there isn't much you can do as an infantry unit. Certain star cards such as shock grenades, scatter guns, and disruption are annoying to say the least. Some of the game modes such as turning point and sabotage are pretty broken and it is very easy to get spawn trapped in those maps.
Singleplayer is largely unplayable due to a completely broken AI. The broken AI units are also included in the multiplayer fighter squadron game mode.
Overall I rate this game a 7.5/10.
Spectre (2015)
An Embarrassment to Bond Fans
I came into Spectre expecting it to be better than the embarrassment that was Skyfall. Sadly I was mistaken. The worst part was the writing. From the opening sequence (why was the bombing foiled if everything was already in place), to the ending (how did M and Q get into C's office without anyone noticing), this was poorly written throughout. These examples are two of many more throughout the film. The acting was unremarkable. Lea Seydoux's character was poorly written and poorly acted. The car chase was boring and predictable. Sam Smith's terrible theme song Writings on the Wall may best describe the fate of Bond franchise if this embarrassment continues. Worst Bond film since The Living Daylights.
