Good balance of photorealism and CGI, and a refreshing adaptation of the "villain turned hero" trope. But it's those "fairy stepmothers" that steal the show for me!

"I'll Let You Be in My Dream if I Can Be in Yours". An intriguing idea, slickly presented. But it is just that - an *idea*. It's not really a "story".
The characters and and events only needed to be filled out enough to explore that core idea. A fascinating movie, and well worth the watch. But at half an hour shorter I feel it would have been even better.
